{by the way, this chapter has gore:}
Elijah's vision turned a milky white as he drifted across space he was dazed, but once he realized what was happening, he woke up ( what kind of dream was that?) Elijah went to the kitchen, pulled out a glass cup then filled it with cold water. He stretched parts of his body and then went to the washroom. He saw Elliot slumped over in a corner. He went to check up on him he was just asleep.
"you're up late," he heard a female voice. It was Amala. She wore a blue nightgown. Elijah was about to say something when Amala approached Elliot, picked him up, and placed him on her back "Is he a bit too heavy for you?" Elijah asked. Amala looked at Elijah with a smile. "No, he's not that heavy, but thanks for asking.." the air was cold yet quiet. It was as if nothing wanted to break this scene. "Over the past few days, we've been with you, I've seen you as a man who was clueless about the world, kinda like a baby, but the more I got to know you, the better I understood you, even though we just played games the entire time I still enjoyed them".
She spoke in a remasten manner as if looking back on a distant past" Once you get your oath, we might work together, of course with Bargis permission of course..when I was a kid, all I had was Elliot, and all he had was me. We grew up and protected each other so that we will save you also, so don't worry, if you're in danger, you can just call us for help," Amala said with a slight grin on her face; she had a slightly tanned skin her eyes were a hazel color her hair was longer then last them, they now reached her chest this was due to her time in the dungeon.
"How would I call you for help?" Amala reached for a pocket on her gown, and she took out a piccolo it was a small flute, but it was hand size which meant that he could always bring it with him. "Just blow on it and I will come to you… it's not some sort of teleportation I'm just able to hear the sound from miles away, so don't worry about how far you are I will always be able to reach you" Elijah hugged Amala and then patted Elliot's head; the two went off to there rooms while Elijah stayed back to use the washroom ( once I have the pale knight oath I hope I get to work with them).
Over the past few days, Elijah learned more about the Umbari Lanuage he even Learned how to summon a slight wind, he then did spiritual training. This type of train was complex on his mental state, but because of that, he can now cast a giant ball of fire. He also learned how to pronounce the language a little better there wasn't that huge of an upgrade he was till weak, but he could fight off at least one thug, plus it has only been three days his improvement was fast, but he is still not strong.
ELijah walked back to his room and then climbed into bed.
——-
The night was long but sweet. Elijah got up out of bed, rubbed his eyes, and then walked out the door (find…..Bargi…..). His mind was muddled but he still kept walking. After a few minutes, he was the door to Bargi's office, and he knocked on a total of three times: no response, he waited for a few minutes but no one came out (he must be out on a mission with the punishing force) Elijah walked through the hallway it was surprisingly empty
"Hello!" he heard a voice yell out behind him; he turned around to see the woman who almost killed him with that white bear; Elijah bolted to Bargis's office in a few seconds; he reached the door then forcibly opened it superisly it wasn't close. He opened the door to see the same woman. "Hello!" Elijah turned the door handle, but nothing happened; he felt an invisible force pull at him, and then, in a second, he was in Bargi's seat.
The woman, however, was at the door, "did you miss me?" her voice was filled with happiness as she beamed at Elijah. "..How did you get in the church?!" he yelled; the woman walked closer to Bargis desk, yet her body moved slowly yet swiftly, it was like watching a snake move.
"My name is Alice, and I'm part of the Witch of Dawn cult…..I'm in the third seat, so I'm not as strong as you think.. I got some help to create this space.., what do you think?" Alice had ruby-red lips, her eyes were of a crimson red, her hair was in a wolf cut, and she had firey red hair.
"What happened to you… you look way different then .." Alice disappeared; Elijah looked around, trying to find her, and then she appeared before him. "You don't need to worry about that" She had a grin on her face, and her eyes glowed a deep red
"why the hell are you here?!" Elijah yelled; he felt his throat burning as he yelled at Alice; her face was indifferent to it, and she clicked her tongue "…whatever, the reason why I brought you here was to do something for me." Her tone was calm yet annoyed. Elijah swallowed deeply(what the hell does she want… also who the hell made this space?)he thought while he stared at Alice. "why should I even help you?"Elijah spat; his face was sweaty as the sun loomed over the church.
"What makes you think you have a choice?" she said with a slight smile on her face (if I didn't have a choice, then what was the point of even asking me?) he thought. "to put it simply, you have been in the line of corruption of many odd things, I'm surprised your even alive…any how. we need you to clear a den" she stated. "what is a den?" Elijah asked. Alice rubbed her head as she said:" The church hasn't taught you anything, have they?…whatever a den is, a sealed-off area where there are a lot of monsters and demons, they are hell to deal with. but this area I want you to go in is highly corrupted if I even step near that place I would go insane ".
"you might go insane, but you won't just die. You are strong enough, so why don't you do it yourself" Alice tilted her head, and in a few seconds, she burst out into a fit of laughter (is she laughing at me?) Elijah thought Alice grabbed his shoulders, and his body stiffened. "The reason you're doing this is an order from the first seat if you reject this order, then the fall of this church might come through…but based on my observations, you don't care that much about the church, do you?….. here I will make a deal once you clear the den I will give a lost arc" Elijah expression shifted to that of confusion.
"a lost arc is an item that's made from an oath; with that weapon, you won't need the protection of the church," Elijah spoke in a disinterred voice. "Why are you even giving me such an item?" Alice realized Elijah then walked to the transparent window and spoke," Trust me, you will need them for the upcoming events".
(what does that even mean?). Elijah spoke honestly, "fuck you, I won't do shit. Kill me for all I care I won't do the bitting of a dam cult," he spat; Alice sighed. The world around him started to shift and shack then his body began to break apart slowly; it went from his torso to his upper body.
"as I said earlier, you don't have a choice"
——————-
"my head feels like shit," he stated as he rubbed his head. "Where the hell did she drop me off?" Elijah slowly rubbed his head when he heard movement in the distance; Elijah observed the area. He was in a united church the morals on the walls were destroyed. He looked to the sky then noticed that it was a deep red the moon was a deep black.
The noise continued; Elijah ran to a corner of the church it was blacked out. The rustling continued for a few minutes. Elijah was about to check what it was when a monster with a barrel-like body with milky eyes came into view. It had mushrooms covering its entire body, but Elijah could still distinguish its skin color. It was a reddish tint, and the monster had a small pair of horns on its head.
The monster leaped into the bushes. The creature rustling around it was a human-sized rabbit with pure red eyes. Its fur had black eyes. Before it was killed, the rabbit's eyes met his. It screamed. The monster about to eat the rabbit dropped it and then bolted towards Elijah; before he could even move, the beast was cut to shards, its blueish insteants spilled onto the floor.
'Run, you idiot!' Otto yelled
