As Noir came back to his house, he sees that everything is prepared for his departure. Noir approach his mother that sits next to all the luggage beside her.
"M-mother... What is all.. of this?"
"Ah! It's for your departure tomorrow, Sheila already said in advance that she wants to bring you to Kortopia, The City of Freedom."
"B-but why..."
As Noir looks down, the feeling of bursting into tears engulf Noir eyes. His mother gently put her finger on his chin and make Noir looks into his mother eyes directly.
"Oh my dear Noir, My little sweet Noir. It is for your own good"
All of the sudden a big thud can be heard nearby, a fast foot stomp as it gets louder and louder behind Noir is his father trying to hug him as Askadorr is dashing towards Noir while crying tears everywhere
"MY LITTLE BABY!!!!" He shouted as he snatch Noir very quickly and hug him tightly.
"I WILL MISS YOU A LOT MY SWEET PRINCE!!!"
As Noir father shouted as his hug became tighter, making little Noir almost unconscious with just a hug.
His mother create a hand out of water, a huge water hand that slap Askador so hard that he went flying across the room.
"Now, Now. Our dear Noir won't be able to wake up tomorrow if you hug him so hard"
As Noir mother said with a threatening tone to Askadorr. Noir and Askadorr instantly got scared for their life.
"Now everyone go to your room!" She said after creating one more water hand clenching it tightly.
"YES MAM!"
As both Askadorr and Noir run towards their room for their dear life. As the night comes around, the rise of the moon has come to shine the night of Javan. Noir on his bed seems to be unable to sleep waiting for tomorrow. His mind is clouded with many things.
"Will it be okay?... Wil everything goes right?... Can i be stronger?..."
So many question in his mind, yet so little answer. Even though little Noir knew that with just 1 Affinity Elemental, he can become stronger. Just like his mother who only have water Affinity Element. But all of his self confidence is lost because of the townsfolk of Javan, they see Noir as someone who's not special like his brother. Everyone cheer and cherish Nolan Bolevante, while everyone shun and forgot Noir Bolevante even existed in the Bolevante family.
Even with all the townsfolk forgetting about the existence of Noir, his family, his instructor always care for Noir no matter what. The people close to him always care for Noir, and little Noir assume a reason why they care so much for him.
It's because Noir is not special like his brother Nolan Bolevante, his achievement is far greater than what Noir ever did. Many people already acknowledge the feat of Nolan, there are many example of it. At the age of 14 Nolan already use a special magic that can only be used by those who have 2 Affinity Elements.
A form of magic that is found out 300 years ago, when the first 2 Affinity Elements is founded, that person created a new form of magic called Fusion Magic. Using 2 of his Affinity Elementals, he created a new form of element.
His brother use a new kind of Fusion Magic called Mist, using the water and the heat of fire, Nolan manage to use a Fusion Magic called Mist. Even their father, Askadorr Bolevante only manage to use Fusion Magic at the age of 18. That is enough for Nolan Bolevante to be called a genius amongst geniuses.
All of the thinking made Noir sleepy and went to sleep without his notice, this time Noir had a dream, an odd dream, that seems to be too realistic to be a dream.
Noir is standing in the middle of a sea of flames. The ground burning endlessly like hell, the houses fall as the flames engulf it. People turn to ashes as the fire eat them up. As Noir ran around the sea of flames, he sees something familiar.
The house of Bolevante, burned walls starts to fall to the ground, everything turn to ashes.
As Noir enters the house, he sees his mother burn to a crisp almost to dust. As Noir goes into tears holding her mother close on his arms, he turn to see his father has been stabbed and burn from the inside out.
The one that stab Askadorr is a man in a black cloak covering it's whole body, a longsword in it's hand and a unique emblem on the back of the cloak. The emblem seems to resemble an eye, as it's surrounding is the looks of a devil hands trying to get a grasp of the eye.
As the cloaked figure turns around, Noir vision instantly look to the burn down ceiling as his head has been decapitated and got flung across the room. As his vision got darker, Noir wakes up in a cold sweat.
"What was that... Just what on ether is that..."
As his body shaken uncontrollably, it feels like his soul is shaken to it's core. A step can be heard getting closer to his room as the door is open by Sheila. She sees that Noir seems to be in a state of shock as she instantly dash towards the little Noir.
"NOIR! WHAT HAPPEN!"
Shout Sheila aggressively as she hugs Noir close to her. Noir hugs back into tears for all the people in the house to hear it. It shook the whole family, his father, and his mother instantly went to his room too.
After the drama, everyone calmed down as Noir just said that he got nightmare and not elaborate any further.
Noir starts to take a bath and prepare everything for departure, as everything is ready he step foot off the house and turns back saying a goodbye to his parent. As both Noir parent cry's happily for their youngest son finally taking a big step in the vast world of Etheriala.
Noir enters the carriage together with Sheila, as they both depart together to went to a town called Kortopia, to further strengthen himself to one day become someone acknowledgeable by everyone around him.
In the middle of the road, Noir ask a random question "Umm.. Teach... Can you tell me again what's the emblem on teach back means?" Said Noir as he fiddle with his finger nervously.
Sheila sighed off and start to think for some time before answering.
"It's the emblem of Aslanta knights, an eagle means that we Aslanta knights will always goes beyond the sky itself to protect the Continent of Aslanta. Every knights in Aslanta have this emblem whether it's on their armor, shield, or cape. It's to represent our loyalty to the great Aslanta and the king of Aslanta." Sheila said calmly.
As a breeze of wind come from the windows of the carriage making her hair flow elegantly making her much more beautiful than she usually are.
"I'm sure you feel like you are not special like your brother Nolan... But! After you met this person, i'm sure you will become even greater than him after this. Trust me!" Sheila said as she pats Noir shoulder.
the carriage goes on and on the path to Kortopia. As the new Dawn will shine even brighter than he ever think, the true story shall reveal soon. As the Dawn existed, the Dusk will always exist behind it...
