As someone called Noir name, he turn around to see someone that is unfamiliar. The person that called Noir is a boy, standing a little bit taller than Noir himself. The boy got a short black hair, a sharp face complemented with a brown eyes like a brown bear fur. The boy got an apron similar to the short lady that called Noir earlier. With a simple white clothes and brown shorts.
"You're Noir Bolevante aren't ya?" Said the boy as he crossed his arms looking at Noir.
"Ah.. Yes!" As Noir replied, the bear ear figure quickly ran away very quickly unable to be seen again by Noir.
"Aww... I haven't ask his name.." Said Noir sadly as the vorpal sword disappear slowly.
"Now Now! Get back inside, it's almost midnight right now!" Said the boy as he turns back.
"W-wait! W-who are.. you?" Ask Noir as he tug the boy clothes.
The boy turn around as he does a quick glance on Noir. He looks at Noir and cross his arm again and sigh off.
"The name is Benny, Benny Bearby" Answered Benny as he reach out for a handshake.
"I am the Black Bear Inn owner kid, The one on the counter is my ma." Said benny confidently as he has a smug face on Noir.
"Oh!" As Noir reply he shake Benny hand.
"Well... Uhh.. Nice to meet you? B-Ben?" Said Noir nervously as he has a very nervous smile.
Benny got surprise for a second, and he cough off. Benny turns around and gesture his hand for Noir to follow him. Noir follow Benny for a second as Benny leads him back to the inn. As both Noir and Benny enter the inn, Benny instantly went to the room that is filled with people eating. Benny turns around for a second as he wave a goodbye with his hand and leave Noir alone.
Noir went upstairs to go back to sleep, as he pass the wooden counter, the woman behind the counter ask something to Noir.
"So, how's ma son? He doesn't do anything weird does he? He never really made friend, so i don't know how he act to people around his age." Said Amanda as she smiles to Noir.
"Ah! H-he.. uhh.. Very nice!" Said Noir nervously as he bow down and quickly keep going upstairs.
As he walk slowly to the hallway, going into his room. Noir reach the door as he start to slowly open the door, the door open very quickly as Sheila is standing in front of Noir. Sheila standing menacingly on the door as her face is filled with anger and the feeling of worried to Noir.
"Go. Back. To. Sleep." Said Sheila coldly as Noir body shiver in fear, he slowly walk pass Sheila and goes back to his bed.
Sheila close the door and cross her arm as Noir slowly goes back to his bed and sleep tightly while cowering in fear. Sheila sigh off and goes to her bed too and start to sleep off the night. As both sleep off the night, in the Phoenix Guild some unique conversation happen.
A smooth hand knock on the door of 'Guild Master Room'. As the hand open the door, the reflection of the window at night is Nora. Nora gets closer to the 'Guild Master' desk, the chair that was once face the window now has turn around. Solean is sitting on the chair as he fold both his hand on the table.
"What do you need Ms. Nora?" Ask Solean to Nora calmly with a smug. Nora proceed to fix her glasses as she open her mouth.
"That fire earlier today... That wasn't a real fire wasn't?" Nora ask politely to Solean.
"It's the fire of the phoenix isn't? The fire that those who believe will hurt them will give them excruciating pain, while if you believe it will not be painful, it will actually be painless..." Said Nora calmly as she tries her best to recall the moment earlier today.
"Hmm... Indeed it is. The Phoenix fire is perfect for that test. That kid, he got a determine eyes. I will only teach those who truly determine to become stronger for good" Said Solean as he cross his arm.
"I like the kid already, he will become strong. But I know that kid still has some inferiority complex, i'm sure he has met someone strong and now he feels like himself is weak and inferior." Said Solean calmly as he stand up from his chair.
"I shall fix that first. It's the only way he can easily become stronger." Said Solean as he steps away from the desk and go near the window looking at the crescent moon.
Nora then nod as she start to bow down and leave the room after knowing the truth. Solean keeps looking at the moon and ponder about something.
"One problem after another... First The All-Eyes Cult.. The Phoenix Guild... And now that kid..." Think Solean inside his mind as he feels many burden on his back.
Solean keep pondering through the night as he feels he take too many burden being the guild master and founder of The Phoenix Guild. The door starts to open quite quickly, as a hooded figure stand on the door. Solean looks behind him and smile.
"What do you need this time... Radhan?" Said Solean to the mysterious hooded figure. As a view hours pass by, the sun rises beautifully on the mountain behind Kortopia.
As the dawn rises, Noir wakes up to find himself all alone in the room. He quickly looks around as he sees beside his bed is his luggage. Noir proceed to change his clothes, a white long sleeve button clothes with a sleeveless tuxedo over the white clothes. A pair of leather but soft long pants with a simple leather shoes. Noir proceed to go downstairs as he sees Sheila is sitting at one of the chair at where he sees people eating last night.
Noir walk down the hallway passing by Amanda as he greet her quickly and keep walking towards Sheila. Sheila looks at Noir for a second and gesture her hand for Noir to sit next to her.
As Noir looks around the room, he could see only a little bit of people is having breakfast at this inn. Trying to look for someone familiar, Noir sees Benny walking around the places, delivering food to some tables. Benny takes a quick glance toward Noir for a second and continue to deliver the food. Noir then proceed to sit on the table.
The table has some food all over it, a crispy breast chicken that has been cut into pieces and smothered with honey all over it and on the side had some lettuce below the chicken, and 4 fluffy bread with a milk and a coffee. As Noir sits down he could see Sheila is sipping on a coffee.
"M-ms. Sheila..." Said Noir quietly to Sheila
"Hmm?" Ask Sheila as she sips her coffee.
"D-did you... buy all t-this?" Answer Noir as he ask a question to Sheila nervously.
"Yea of course. Now eat them, we have to go to Solean this morning for you to train" Answer Sheila calmly as she takes a bread and eat it slowly.
"Ah! Y-yes!" Said Noir as he takes a bread and eat the chicken happily, enjoying it all with a glass of milk.
As both Sheila and Noir finish their breakfast, they are preparing to go meet Solean again at Phoenix Guild. Sheila and Noir bow down to Amanda the owner before they leave for today and thanking her for the hospitality. As they both start to walk on the street of Kortopia, they see the lively bustling street again. Everyone is chatting with one another, some are buying vegetable, fruits, etc.
As they take their sweet time walking around Kortopia, just a view minutes they arrive at the Phoenix Guild. In front of the building waiting, is Solean himself. As Solean greet both Sheila and Noir.
"Good Morning! I hope you both had a wonderful night at the Black Bear Inn. It is my favorite inn afterall, haha!" Said Solean happily as he smiles brightly like the sun.
"Then shall we go now?" Ask Solean to Noir and Sheila. As both Noir and Sheila nod as an answer
Solean gesture his hand to enter the Phoenix Guild building and they head in the staff room. Inside the staff room there is a rune circle. Solean goes inside the rune circle and told Noir and Sheila to go inside the rune circle too.
"You two, come into the inside of the rune circle" Said Solean calmly asking both Noir and Sheila.
As Noir and Sheila enter the rune circle, solean snap his finger and both their vision became blurry as they see a green fire particle surrounding them. As their vision become normal again, they see that they're surrounding just change...
