"Eight Legs!!!" the Deformity shouted.
Ants surrounded Elijah and the other Deformity. The Deformities rushed into a circular formation. Drew immediately shot lightning from his palm, followed by fire and more lightning from their team.
Elijah realized immediately. There were no wind, water, or earthbenders, just two Deformities with telekinetic powers. That was the helicopter carrying the Core. If the Core didn't make it in time to the Army Deformity camp east of Tacoma, which was under attack, the troops there might not survive.
"We're trapped!" cried one of the Deformities.
Phebe exclaimed with emotion. "FOCUS!"
The girl fired lightning bolts at every ant she could see. But the ants seemed endless. There was no Deformity Support to help, so the ants just kept coming with no barrier.
"We can't possibly finish them off, Drew! We have to find a way out," Phebe said.
"Rick, find us the coordinates of where to go!" called Drew.
Rick, who had the power of telekinesis, pressed a button on his bracelet. A holographic screen appeared, showing the direction of the camp they were heading to.
"That way!" Rick pointed.
The deformities pushed forward and launched their attacks on the ants. But the ants kept pushing. It was difficult for them to gain an advantage. Elijah opened both palms and waved them to the side. The wind was so strong that the ants were blown away. Elijah quickly pulled the surface of the ground into a long wall like a hallway.
"How can you—"
"Run, now!" Elijah cut Drew off.
They all ran as fast as they could, Elijah continuing to build walls to avoid the ants ahead of them.
"How many more miles, Rick?" shouted Drew.
Rick, running ahead of Elijah and Phebe, replied, "One mile!"
"Can you build a mile-long wall, Elijah?" asked Phebe worriedly.
"I'll try." Elijah hurried to answer.
Elijah didn't know if he had enough energy to build such a long wall, he had never done it before. But the lives of the deformities were in danger. Both those running with Elijah and those in the camp east of Tacoma.

Elijah stopped running. He sensed a heat approaching.
There was a rumbling sound, and 'boom', a loud explosion hit the earthen wall Elijah had created. All the deformities were blown away by the attack, including Elijah. Some of the Deformities were knocked unconscious, including Phebe.
Elijah's head ached and throbbed, his vision blurred. He heard screams echoing in his ears. Faintly, Elijah saw a glowing figure approaching the Deformity squad.
It was the Queen.
The Queen's tentacles grabbed two Deformities, then viciously tore off their arms and legs. Screams of agony rang out in Elijah's ears. The two Deformities were unceremoniously thrown to the ground, and the ants quickly carried them away.
The Queen grabbed another Deformity, this time wrapped around her tentacles. In less than two minutes, the Deformity was released, dead. Its body was dry, just skin and bones.
Elijah slowly crawled away, staring in horror at the scene before him.

"What's this all about?" cried Elijah in frustration.
The few Deformities that came to their senses gathered their strength and attacked the Queen. But the tentacles quickly ambushed them. The Queen hissed, then said something, but Elijah had no idea what it meant.
"Status, translate," Elijah muttered as he crawled to find temporary shelter.

"What?" Elijah couldn't believe what was being translated.
He didn't understand why the creature spoke like that. Were all humans its prize? Had they come twenty years ago to destroy mankind down to the last descendant?

"What kind of harvest?!" This time Elijah was really angry.
He heard another scream from the deformities who had their hands and feet cut off. Elijah had to do something or the Deformity would soon be dead.
Elijah stood up and looked at the sky. His body leapt upward, then he unleashed a wind attack on the Queen, causing the creature to flinch and release the deformities in its tentacles.
Elijah darted away from his fellow deformities, and the Queen was hooked. The creature hissed angrily and chased after Elijah. The ants followed behind.
"Come here!" Elijah shouted angrily.
The Queen unleashed a fireball attack that was deflected by Elijah's water power. Elijah quickly circled the queen from above, causing the creature to continue unleashing a flurry of fire attacks. Elijah's palms opened and he lifted the ground where the Queen stood.

Elijah grinned. "I killed your sister once! You like that?"
Suddenly, the Queen's tentacles wrapped around Elijah. At that moment, Elijah felt his energy being absorbed, and the heat in his body dropped dramatically. With all his might, Elijah unleashed his telekinetic powers to open the rift and shot into the sky.
Tentacles reached out to grab Elijah. The young man unleashed a thunderbolt attack that stunned the Queen. Elijah swooped down and landed on the back of the Queen's tentacles. The creature growled angrily and tried to free Elijah from its body.
Elijah saw a blue stone at the queen's neck, covered by her tentacles. His hands choked from behind, trying to hold on as the tentacles tried to pull his body away.
Elijah's one palm gripped the Queen's neck.

Then Elijah's body felt more heated and burning. Flames literally appeared all over him and the Queen She sounded like she was suffocating and her body stiffened. Elijah absorbed all the Queen's power.
The energy invaded his entire body and Elijah screamed loudly.
