The sound of my alarm woke me up and i groaned before standing up. I got up from bed and went to have a shower. I took my bath and brushed my teeth. I came out with a towel tied around my waist as i went to the restroom. I wore a white T-shirt with a blue baggy jeans and a blue jacket. I brushed my hair and went to the mirror and admired myself. I sprayed a little perfume before going downstairs. I met my parents sitting down at the dining table and i scoffed inwardly before sitting down.
Good morning mum and dad; i greeted as i faked a smile.
What's good about the morning? See the time you're waking up; my dad yelled and i sighed.
Oh sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Arnaldo Ardentine. I'm the only child of my parents but I don't feel like i have parents. They don't care about me, they don't even come home for my birthdays. I usually celebrate it with nanny Esther since they're never around. Enough with the introduction.
I'm sorry dad! I said as i took my eyes to the food at my front.
Just go to school already. You're running late; my mum said.
But mum! I haven't eaten yet; i said.
And who told you that i care? Common will you leave this house this instant; my dad said and i sighed and got up.
I took my bag and left the house while nanny Esther was watching silently. I entered my car and drove off. Tears were just pouring from my eyes as i remembered what happened. Why don't they love me? Why is this happening to me? I thought as i arrived at my new school which is Bristol Academy. I cleaned my tears before putting a cold look on my face then got out of the car.

👥 PLEASE WHAT'S YOUR NAME HANDSOME DEVIL; a girl asked and i smiled at her before going inside the school and i heard the girls screaming.
👥 HE JUST SMILED AT ME! OH MY GEE I THINK I'LL FAINT; The girl said while fanning herself and i chuckled a little before going to the principal's office and he did some things before giving me my locker key.
I got up and left his office with the map he gave me. I walked to the school library to clear my head and when the girls saw me, they started drooling. I ignored them and sat down alone reading a novel I picked from the shelf. I got really hungry so i got up and was about leaving when i bumped into a girl.
Hey don't you know you hit me; a sweet tender yet angry voice said and i turned around to see a pretty young lady. I stared at those brown eyes before looking away.
I don't care! You should've looked where you're going; i said and left. I went to the cafeteria and ordered some pineapple juice with a burrito.
I took a bite from the burrito before gulping little from my orange juice. When I was done, i went to drop my tray and that's well the electronic bell rang for break over and i went back to class. On my way to class, i met one of the teachers.
Hello! My name is Mr Felix and you must be Arnaldo right? He asked and I nodded.
Okay then let's go in; he said and began walking and i followed suite. We both entered the class and that's when everyone turned to look at me.
This is our new student Arnaldo! He said immediately i entered the class and i sighted the same girl i bumped into and a smirk played on my lips as i stared at her.
Hey everyone! I'm Arnaldo Ardentine, nice to meet you all; i said with a smile and the whole class cheered me on while some where clapping except for one girl.
Arnaldo, go and seat with Ivy; Mr Felix said while pointing at the same pretty girl i met at the library and I went to the chair beside her and sat down.
She stared at me for a little while before looking away. Soon the bell rang for closing and I groaned inwardly. I started packing my things and that's when Ivy came to me.
You were the one that hit me right? She asked and i scoffed.
And so? I asked.
So apologize! She said and i scoffed again.
It wasn't my fault that I hit you. Just admit that you didn't look where your going; i said and she frowned.
You need to apologize; she said and i frowned this time.
I said I don't want to apologize so leave me alone would you. Plus am not in the mood for your nonsense so excuse me; i snapped and left the place angrily.
I hate it when I'm forced to do something. It pisses me off; i said and entered my car before driving off.
I arrived home and that's when i saw them sitting on the chair. My mum was pressing her phone while my dad was watching TV. I greeted them before going upstairs to change. I wore a black short with a white singlet.
So mum! What's for dinner? I asked.
There's no dinner son; she said not looking away from her phone.
What happened that there's no dinner? I asked.
You came late so we ate without you so please would you go to your room and sleep cos your disturbing; my dad yelled and tears formed in my eyes as i left their sight and went upstairs.
I opened the door and entered my room before shutting the door. I sat on the floor as i wept bitterly just then my phone rang. I looked at the caller before picking the call.
📱 Hello Nanny Esther.
📱 Hello Arnaldo. Come to the kitchen now.
📱 But why Nanny?
📱 Just come right now.
📱 Okay I'll be there soon nanny.
📱 Okay then. I'll be waiting; she said and cut the call. I got up and went downstairs. My parents didn't noticed that I passes them. I went to the kitchen and nanny Esther dragged to the backyard. I sighted a table full with a lot of foods and i turned to look at Nanny Esther.
What's all this nanny? I asked.
Come and eat Arnaldo. I know you didn't eat this morning and you didn't eat this night so just eat okay; she said.
But.... She interrupted.
Don't reject it please Arnaldo; she pleaded and i smiled before sitting on the chair. I started eating and it was really delicious.
When i was done i thanked her before going back upstairs. I climbed my bed and lied down to sleep when Ivy's face appeared in my head and I smiled to myself before drifting to sleep.

He left the class and i stood shocked. He was the one who offended me and yet he doesn't want to apologize. I'll make sure I deal with him; i said folding my fist and Anna came towards me.
What happened Ivy? She asked.
It's nothing! I said and sighed.
You're lying. What really happened? She asked and i sighed before telling her everything that happened.
He's a real jerk; i said and she smiled.
I know. Don't get upset right now. Let's go home; she said and i smiled at her as we left the class together.
We said our goodbyes before entering different cars then drove off. I arrived home and met Lily and mum setting the table.
Good evening mum and Lily; i greeted as i kissed them both on the cheek.
How was your day? Mum asked.
It was awesome thanks mum. And how was your day Lily? I said and asked. Mum went to the kitchen to get some thing so i talked to Lily.
It was awesome and annoying. I met a jerk today; she said and i gasped.
Me too. I met an annoying jerk today; i replied and she smiled.
What's the jerk name? She asked.
Arnaldo Ardentine. What of you? I said and asked.
Gavin Hewitt; she replied. My mum came back from the kitchen and smiled at me.
Ohh. They're not related. Anyways, I'll go and change before coming to join you guys; i said.
Okay sweetie; my mum said.
Okay sis; Lily said and with that I went upstairs and took my bath.
I stayed under the shower for about 5 minutes thinking of Arnaldo. I sighed and switched off the shower before coming outside with a towel tied around my chest. I went to my closet and brought out a my purple night wear. I wore a purple night robe before wearing my purple bunny slippers then i went downstairs.
Come and eat Ivy; Lily called and i smiled at her before sitting down on the chair and we began eating.
So Mum! When will Dad come back home? Lily asked and i smiled.
I don't know yet sweetie. He has contacted me since last Friday but I'll try calling him tomorrow okay?
Okay then; Lily said and we continued eating. When we were done, the some maids came to carry our plates.
Good night mum; i said.
Good night love and good night Lily; Mum said.
Good night mum; she said and we all went to our separate rooms. I lied down on the bed and wore my eye cover before drifting to sleep.
