After Ivy left, i sighed and stood up. I carried my bag and left the library. I was walking when a guy passed by me and hit me in the process that my book fell.
I'm sorry. I didn't look where i was going; He said and bent down to carry my book that fell and handed it to me.
It's okay; i said with a smile.
Thanks! My name is Dexter Missouri! What of you? He said and asked while scratching the back of his head nervously.
I'm Naomi! It's nice to meet you; i said.
Shall we go to class together? He asked.
Sure! I said and we both began walking to class and I couldn't help but steal glances at him. A guy came towards us with a smirk on his face.
Dexter! Do my assignment and make sure i get everything correctly or else; he said while giving Dexter the book but Dexter hit it away.
Why don't you do it yourself; he said and the guy frowned.
You've got some nerves huh? He said and punched Dexter on the stomach and he fell to his knees.
Dexter!! I called and crouched beside him. I angrily stood up and faced the guy.
What? You wanna fight me? He asked with a smirk and i slapped him twice on the cheek.
You slapped me? Did you just.... I didn't let him complete his statement as i slapped him again.
Talk one more time and i will deal with you; i said with gritted teeth.
This isn't over. I'll be back for you; he said.
You're right. This is far from over and I'll be waiting for you; i said and he frowned and left. I went back to Dexter to see him struggling to stand up. I rushed to him and helped him up.
Are you okay? I asked.
Yes i am! Thanks to you; he said and flashed me a smile which i returned.
I wish i could fight, i would have dealt with that guy; he said as we continued our walk.
Who is he anyways? I asked.
A bully and his name is Raymond; he replied.
Alright then. You wanna learn how to fight right? I asked.
Yes! He replied quickly.
Then will you allow me to be your tutor on how to fight? I asked and he stopped and looked at me.
Are you for real? He asked and I nodded.
Thank you so much!! He yelled and hugged me. I was a bit shocked but i smiled and hugged him too. He broke the hug and smiled.
When will i start and where are we doing the training? He asked and i gave it a thought.
Hmm! Where do you live? I asked.
With my sister actually. My parents just left to the states and will be back in 4 weeks time; he said.
Okay then. We'll start today. I'll come to your house after school. Is that okay with you? I said and asked.
It's okay. Thanks again; he said and we both smiled. We arrived at the class and came in together.

They said and i just smiled and went to have my seat. Dexter went to his own seat opposite Lillian, his sister.
Dex! Who is she? She asked.
Well a friend who helped me out and is going to help me learn how to fight; he said and she smiled.
That's exciting! Will she teach me too? She asked.
Well she's coming to the house today, so you can ask her; he said and she smiled.
I'll do that; she said and Dexter smiled and looked at Naomi. Soon the bell rang for break over and students began entering the class including Ivy and Anna. The teacher came into the class and lectures began. I jotted down some few things i heard and i got tired of writing so i stopped and rested my head on the table. Soon the bell rang for closing and students began leaving to their various cars. I got up and saw Dexter waiting for me.
Let's go? He asked and i nodded. We left the school and we went to his car. He opened the door for me and i smiled at him and entered the car. He sat at the driver's seat and ignited the engine and drove off. I dialled Nicole's number and told her I'll be late home and she said i should be careful. We arrived at his house and i came down by myself.
So this is where you live? I asked.
Yep. Let's go inside; he said and i nodded. We went into the house and i saw a girl sitting on the couch watching TV.
Who is she? I asked with a little jealousy in my voice.
Well she's my sister; he said and i sighed inwardly.
Oh that's good; i said.
Wait. Who do you think she was? He asked with a smirk.
Just forget about it; i said and looked away.
Lilian! I called and she switched off the TV and came to us.
Dex! Is she the one? She asked and he nodded.
Hi! I'm Lillian. Can we be friends? She asked.
Of course! I said and she smiled.
So can you teach i and my brother how to fight? She asked.
And why should i teach you? I asked.
Because i really want to learn so please teach us; she pleaded and i sighed.
Alright then! I'll teach you; i said.
Thanks; she said and hugged me ad i hugged her too. She broke the hug and stared at Dexter.
So when do we start? She asked.
Wait first. I need to take a bath; he said.
Okay then! She said.
Common let's go to my room; she said and dragged me upstairs to her room. She opened the door and we went inside.
So do you need to change? She asked.
Of course. Don't worry, I brought extra clothes; i said and she smiled.
I'll get changed too; she said. She went to the restroom and it took a little while before she came out. She was wearing a green crop top with a green jean with a black Adidas canvas. She packed her hair in two ponytails.
How do i look? She asked.
You look good; i said with a smile and went to the restroom. I wore an orange short hand crop top with an orange baggy jeans and a white canvas. I packed my hair in a messy bun and i came out of the restroom.
You look gorgeous! She said and i smiled.
Let's go downstairs; I said and she nodded and we went downstairs.
💚 Dexter 💚
I went upstairs and went to have a shower. I took my bath and brushed my teeth. I went to my closet and brought out an ash tank top with an ash joggers. I wore a black Nike shoe and brushed my hair. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. I carried my phone and went downstairs. No one was there so i sat down on the couch pressing my phone. I heard footsteps coming from the staircase side and i raised my head up to see Naomi and she looked really sexy. I was lost staring at her with my mouth slightly parted and when Lillian closed my mouth, that's when I came back to reality.
Em, you look good; I said.
Thanks; she replied.
Let's head to the garden. That's where we'll start the practice; Lillian said and we nodded. We walked to the garden and she smiled.
Your garden is quite large. Let's get started; she said and we nodded.
We are going to start with push up and sit up; she said.
Okay! We said in unison. We started doing the push up and when i reached 60 I started getting tired. Naomi was just doing hers as if it was nothing. When she reached 100 she stopped and stood up. Lillian did hers and she reached 100 then she stood up an went to get a bottle of water. I sighed and continued till i finally reached 100 an that's when i fell to the ground breathing heavily.
That was so simple Naomi; Lillian said and i scoffed.
How will you call that simple? I asked as i sat up. Naomi came to me an gave me a bottle of water which i collected and gulped the whole thing down.
So do you still want to continue? She asked and i nodded.
That's good. We're going to do sit up and Dexter, you're starting first; she said and i sighed.
How many? I asked
50! She said and i nodded. She came to hold my leg and then i began. I usually smile anytime i come close to her face and that gave me the inspiration to do up to 60.
That's enough; she said and i lied down on the ground staring at the sky and i saw that the weather was changing. I sat up and saw Lillian doing hers and she stopped at 30.
That was so simple Naomi; i said with a smirk as i stood up.
How can you call that simple; Lillian said and stood up as well and i laughed.
Isn't that what you said to me when we did push up? So i just paid you back; i said with a smile and she threw the empty water bottle at me and i dodged it quickly.
Guys! The weather is changing. I think rain is about to fall; i said and Naomi looked up.
You're right. I need to start going home. We'll continue tomorrow; she said and i smiled. She was about to leave when I called her back.
Thank you so much; i said and hugged her and she hugged me too. She broke the hug and flashed me a cute smile before running off. I was still staring at her when Lillian hit me on the shoulder.
Won't you drive her home? The rain is about to fall and you let her trek home? She asked and that's when it dawned to me. I carried my car keys and ran to my car. I entered the car and drove off.

I carried my bag and ran out of the house and tried hailing a cab but none were available. I sighed and began running and that's when the rain started dropping heavily. I used my bag to cover my head and that's when an umbrella covered my head. I looked up to see Dexter standing there with a smile.
Let's go to my car; he said and i nodded. We walked to his car and I entered the front seat and he entered the driver's seat.
I'm sorry for wetting your car; i said and that's when he began coming close to me and i thought he wanted to kiss me but he was only trying to carry a white towel from the back seat.
Take; he said and i collected it and covered myself. He ignited the engine and drove off to my house. I kept telling him the directions and in no time, we arrived home. I came down from his car and he followed suite.
Thanks! Good night; i said and was about to leave when he called me back.
You're welcome and also you're not allowed to take my towel home. So please give it back; he said and i just smiled before giving it to me.
Take this Instead; he said giving me his black jacket and i smiled and took it from him.
I'll keep it safe; i said with a smile.
Okay then. Good night; he said and was about to leave when i rushed to him and hugged him.
Thank you so much; i said with a smile as i pulled out of the hug.
You're welcome. Now go inside; he said and i nodded. He went to his car and ignited the engine before driving off. I smiled to myself and entered the house.
Nicole! I called and she stood up.
I've been waiting for you. So who brought you home? She asked.
Dexter! My friend; i said with a smile.
Oh really? Who is he to you? She asked with a smirk.
He's a friend Nicole; i replied and she nodded.
Just tell me when you guys are a couple because i was watching you from the window and from the look of things, it seems like you both like each other; she said and I looked away.
Whatever! Let's eat; i said and went to sit at the dining table. She came to seat at the dining table and we began eating. When we finished eating, i stood up and was about going upstairs when she stopped me.
Who's jacket is that? She asked.
It's Dexter. Why what happened? I said and asked.
Nothing oo; she said with a giggle.
If you say so; I said and went upstairs.
Make sure to dream about him; she yelled and i smiled and entered my room. I went to have a shower and then i wore my orange night wear. I climbed the bed and used the duvet to cover myself before falling asleep. I smiled when i kept remembering everything that happened today with Dexter as i drifted to sleep.
