Adela's Point of View
"I said, let's discuss first," I said and she smiled sweetly.
"I need to choose discussion first, I can't seem to be distracted by just anyone's presence anyway."
"So, let's go back to our topic from earlier this afternoon. You said you rejected Primo, but after what happened, you didn't feel good about it, right?"
"Okay, you used to love Archer, right?" she asked, and I gasped and nodded. I took another sip of the milk, which was now finished.
"I'm not good at this, but I need to help you because you're my friend and I don't want you to get hurt," she said, playing with her cocktail.
"You can't choose between Archer and Primo, but you love Archer, so you can't let go even if he doesn't love you back. With Primo, you can't seem to let go because there's something about him that you resist, right?" she asked.
"You're right," I answered shortly.
