Adela's Point of View
"Adela, let's go," Archer called out to me.
I quickly stood up from the bench outside their mansion and followed him towards the garage.
"Are you sure you're going to Lolo's rest house? There's no one there right now," he said as he opened the door of his car for me.
"Yeah, Olivia said if I'm bored, I can totally do garden there," I replied and got into his car.
Before he closed the door, he adjusted my seatbelt, causing me to catch my breath due to how close he was. I glanced away as my heart started beating faster. He never failed to do that.
Once he finished, he closed the door and turned to the driver's seat. I kept my gaze forward and waited for him. I took my phone and my airpods from my bag. I was ready to play some music because I was sure the ride from here to the rest house would be quiet. I didn't want an awkward atmosphere for myself, so I prepared.
As he sat down, he immediately fastened his seatbelt, started the car, and began driving.
