The four of them appeared in the King's Hall in Faerie's royal palace.
It seemed like they were in the middle of a discussion when everything fell silent.
Adrammelech Baal looked at Danny and Mira as the two had appeared between him and the king with the princess and another young Fay.
The hall was circular and built of white marble with emerald gem decorations. It had a large wooden door on one side and the king's throne on the other. It had a dome for a roof with magical plants standing still in the air and emitting light. The dome was supported by pillars, similar to those of Greek and Roman temples.
"Willow! You are back!"
The king shouted happily.
Willow bowed to her father as one should do in the presence of a king, and so the other three followed her example.
She then proceeded to walk toward her father's throne happily.
"Marvin, why did you say she won't come back? My loyal daughter won't run away from her royal duties."
The king said and looked at a guard clad in green mantles and silver python-scale armor.
"I was sure her reaction to my advances was that of rejection."
The guard said.
Listening to this conversation, Danny felt his blood boil.
"Willow, stop!"
Danny shouted, and the princess turned to him with a confused look.
"King Oberon, what is the relationship between guard captain Marvin and the princess?"
Danny asked. Not bothering to hide his suspicion.
"I gave her to him in return for his loyalty."
The king said.
"You gave your daughter to a guard?"
Danny questioned his choice.
"I decided to shrink the upper class and have my children given to those I want to be part of the new upper class."
The king explained his plan.
The classes among Fay were decided, like with the demons, by their magical energy. But in Faerie, the one who controlled who got magical energy was the king.
And as their race was made of magical energy, the lower their class was, the harder their survivability was.
In Hell, Satan only controlled the magical energy's distribution and couldn't control his subjects' magical capabilities.
Sitting on his throne, the brown-eyed and green-haired king was displeased by the sudden questioning by this unknown demon.
"You know what he tried to do to her?"
Danny asked. He grits his teeth as he tries to contain his anger.
"Before I answer your question. May you please answer mine?"
The Fay king asked but didn't bother waiting for a response.
"Who are you, and what is your connection to this ordeal?"
"Sorry for the lack of proper introductions. My name is Marcuse Bloodborne. I am the crown prince of Hell. And I helped return your daughter to you."
Danny said with a bow.
"Now that you've answered, I will return the favor. Yes, I know what he attempted to do, and as she is his wife, he is permitted to do so."
The king said, and a slight grin appeared on his face as he felt amusement from seeing Danny try to contain his anger.
"Could you reconsider who you want your daughter to marry?"
Danny asked in hopes of reaching a peaceful resolution.
"Could you consider minding your own business? How dare you delve into the dealings of other realms?!"
The king shouted at him in anger.
"I am a mere prince of Hell, but I won't let you hurt innocents."
Danny said and took a step forward.
It was as if time had stopped beneath his feet as purple light spread from under them.
The king was angered by the sudden approach of this insolent demon.
"A demon lecturing me about my treatment of innocents. Now, that's a riot. Not to mention that as my daughter, she is my property to give."
The Fay king, Oberon, chuckled.
"You damn king are a fool."
A voice coming from Danny's body said.
The voice coming out of his mouth was different, and something about his vibe was like a different being altogether.
"Who do you think you are to speak to me, the king of Faerie, like that?!"
The Fay king Oberon shouted angrily.
"Me? Well..."
The white-haired demon chuckled and lifted his head toward the king.
"I am the god of magic."
He said, and the purple glint in his eyes glowed oh so brighter than before.
"Those who lie and claim to be gods tend to fall quite miserably."
The king tried keeping his composure.
"Who said that I was lying."
The purple-eyed demon said and took another step forward.
With this second step, the purple light that had permeated from under his feet before had consumed all of Faerie.
One step and their world, the world of every denizen of Faerie, was engulfed by a purple sheen.
The king looked with horror at this show of strength as he could feel the will to object leave his body.
He may be the king, but at this moment, he was shaken by how it felt to sit before a god.
"I will take these two with me back to Hell, and you shan't pursue them."
The white-haired demon put his hand forward for a handshake, and the king was too scared to refuse.
After shaking the king's hand, the purple-eyed demon went back to where Adrammelech, Mira, and the two Fay were and passed out.
The king sat in his chair, clearly shaken by this event.
Could it be that he just met another god?
Was there another except for the All Creator?!
The god of magic... In Faerie, a realm ruled by magic, even more so than Hell, a god of magic was unstoppable.
The king had decided then and there that from now on. He would cut ties with Eden and try to satisfy this "greater god."
The unconscious Danny was brought to the room prepared for him, as he was a guest who came with Adrammelech's diplomatic party.
********
Danny remembered taking a single step toward the king, and then everything went black.
He was now looking down from a world above as many realms were being created and destroyed without a second thought.
What was this?!
{"Create And See."}
An existence said.
Danny turned his head toward the voice, but the sight that welcomed him was incomprehensible.
A being of pure chaos. A living concept was there, and his mind couldn't wrap itself around what it was seeing.
Danny saw two smaller beings appear in front of this higher being.
He had looked at old photos of him as a baby before, and the resemblance was uncanny.
Two beings, both were hornless. They had white hair. One had red eyes, and the other had purple eyes.
{"Red Copy Will See. See all Purple."}
The chaotic being said, his voice echoed in Danny's head.
It was as if all the voices to ever exist spoke at an incoherent pace straight into Danny's mind.
For some reason, Danny sort of understood what he meant.
These red eyes could give the baby the ability to copy everything it saw, and the purple eyes gave the other baby the ability to see everything.
What was this?!
Where was he? What is this vision?!
********
Danny woke up suddenly and saw that he was back in the limousine.
He went out of the room to the dining room.
He saw the young silver-haired Fay, who lied about his name being Alberich, and the princess sitting by the table and eating together with Mira.
Mira was surprised to see him awake.
"So you are the god of magic?"
She asked him.
She trusted that he could recover from any injuries he might have, so there was no point in asking about his condition.
"God of what? What are you talking about?"
Danny was confused.
All he remembered was starting to approach the king.
"You approached the king, and he was like, 'What insolent fool,' and you were like, 'I'm no fool, I'm the god of magic,' and covered all of Faerie with a purple aura the same shade as your eyes."
Mira summarised the past day's events poorly.
"I only remember approaching the king. Afterward, I had a vision of two babies and some higher being."
Danny said with a confused tone.
"Maybe someone used possession magic to deliver a message through you."
Donovan said.
Danny looked at the kid, and a thought popped into his head.
He opened the palm of his hand, and a scroll appeared from it.
He ripped the scroll, and Donovan felt a weight lift off his shoulders.
"Was this...?"
He started asking.
"The demon contract? Yes. I hope that one day you'll tell me your true name, but if we go to Hell, I have no reason to hide mine from you."
Danny said.
The princess looked at them, confused.
"Is Marcuse not your name?"
She asked with the same soft voice as before.
"No. Marcuse is the prince of Hell. My name is Danny, and I'm Satan's bastard. Though I would prefer it if you wouldn't reveal that to anybody."
Danny said with a slight bow.
"So, where are you taking us?"
Donovan asked.
He trusted Danny slightly more, but still not enough to follow him without knowing where they were going.
"You two will be staying at my house. Oh, this reminds me, Mira, can you ask Master Adrammelech to give me an expansion item like the one in this limousine? I need to enlarge my house."
Danny requested.
"I will ask him."
Mira agreed.
Danny sat by the table and started eating, too. Thoughts of that vision were still running in his head.
Who were those babies, and what was his connection with them?
And who was that "God of Magic"?
