"I will agree to the terms you have put forth."
Zhishi Wu nodded, he had carefully considered his options but due to his lack of understanding in the progression of cultivation he didn't have many options in terms of possible means of advancement to foundation establishment.
"Good, good." the sect leader approached Zhishi Wu and stood beside him before announcing.
"All disciples pay heed, henceforth this sage shall be treated as an elder of our sect. You will give him the same respect you give elder Kong."
All the disciples that had surrounded Zhishi Wu instantly knelt.
"As the Patriarch commands!" a voice resonated across the sect.
"Amazing." Zhishi Wu thought internally, he had not expected that disciples who were ready to cut him apart a moment ago would treat him with such respect so quickly.
As the commotion died down the sect leader led Zhishi Wu and elder Kong back to his chambers.
"That was a huge commotion just to see the extent of my abilities sect leader." Zhishi Wu let out a sigh, finally feeling relieved that he was no longer in a life or death situation.
"It wasn't just a matter of displaying your skill for the patriarch rather, the disciples would never respect an elder who didn't earn it somehow, now that you...."
Elder Kong had a thinking expression on his face for a moment.
"Now that you taught the strongest disciples in the sect, excluding disciple Pyari, they respect you far more and thus were quick to accept you."
"I see."
Although Zhishi Wu seemed surprised at the explanation, within his heart he had already thought of that as a possibility he was just attempting to confirm it.
"Enough about that, let me introduce you to the other elder."
The patriarch raised his hand hand started to speak into a medallion
"Mei Fan, if you aren't here in 10 breaths I will revoke your budget, and eat your pet hamsters."
Time passed slowly as Zhishi Wu stood within the hall counting breaths and just as he got to the 9th the doors to the chamber burst open.
A panda about the same size as the Tiger that Zhishi Wu had slain made an appearance, although it looked fluffy, Zhishi Wu could sense that the beast was a mere step away from foundation establishment.
Upon closer inspection it became clear that a human was on top of the creature.
"I'm here, I'm here!"
A lady who had jumped off the hamster exclaimed, she was about 5'6, had hazel colored hair and was wearing a robe which was rough, something that resembled the clothes of a mortal farmer, it did a good job of showing off her muscular appearance, and she had a certain charm to her something like a professional athlete. Of course, she didn't hold a candle to Goldilocks but she had her own good points as well.
"This is Mei Fan, she is the elder in charge of beast taming."
She walked up to Zhishi Wu and shook his hand forcibly not giving him a chance to react.
"Greetings junior, don't worry about filling me in on the situation, I could hear the old man's roars from across the sect."
This was when Zhishi Wu noticed her incredible grip strength, he had never fought nor experienced the might of a foundation establishment cultivator but it was definitely beyond what he had expected.
"It's like a QI cultivator and a foundation establishment cultivator are two different species." he thought to himself before replying.
"Greetings to you too senior." he retracted his hand awkwardly and bowed slightly.
" I want you to give him a tour of the sect, areas that he hasn't seen. And then you can tell him about his duties." patriarch Thunder chimed in .
She looked Zhishi Wu up and down and then back at the sect leader.
"But I'm busy."
The Patriarch's face turned ugly.
"You dare disobey your sect leader?"
As the two bickered Elder Kong moved closer to Zhishi Wu.
"This isn't a well known fact, but this elder Mei Fan is actually the sect leader's adopted daughter. No one else in the entire sect would speak to him like that."
Zhishi Wu looked at the two of them arguing and felt something, he wasn't sure how to describe it but it was something important.
"BUT I'M BUSY!!"
"You will do as I say or I will roast that panda alive."
"..."
"Fine, fine you win." Mei Fan grabbed Zhishi Wu's hand and dragged him on top of her panda.
"Don't hurl on my spirit beast." She looked back at him with a dangerous glint in her eye.
"I'll keep that in mind."
Zhishi Wu was a bit surprised, how could the well spoken Elder Kong hold the same position as this child. He was confused about maturity within this world, he still did not have the ability to tell how old someone was, as lifespans varied heavily.
…
Somewhere not too far away a nervous sect leader welcomed two individuals.
"Greetings to the envoys of the Divine Unity Sect. I hope you will find this visit to my Tranquil waters sect productive."
Zumo Tian and Elder Mu acknowledged the statement and continued walking, the sect leader who looked frail and seemed like his mustache could fall off any second continued following them.
The sect lived up to its name, the valley it resided in had beautiful displays of water everywhere, from gentle water falls to fountains a truly aquatic habitat. The sect uniform also seemed to be solely a light blue in color.
"We have dispatched our disciples to the surrounding area to search for the individual you have described, however."
Zumo Tian stopped and looked at the sect leader with a disappointed face.
"The Eastern Wasteland is massive, it is very possible we don't even locate a clue."
Zumo Tian brought his face close to the sect leader's before giving him a slap across the face.
The sect leader was internally enraged but after seeing the elder Mu in the background he contained it.
"Either you find that child, or they will have to dispatch people to find you."
Zumo Tian turned around and continued walking
"Damn I looked cool doing that huh." he thought to himself and smiled.
