Chapter 4 - 4

When she got to his table, he was busy on the phone and she could hear his conversation because the man was loud.

"Yes father, am here now but I can't seems to find the girl. Are you sure she will come to this blind date?" He was saying to someone on the phone.

"Haha! Relax, she will definitely come! You'll see her soon!" The other person said at the end.

Judging from the voice, Lottie could tell it was an old man. Probably the man was this man's father.

"Okay!" The man noticed Lottie's presence and gave her a frown. He disconnected the call and glance at her furiously" And you are?"

"Ooh hello…. I am the lady for the blind date!" She said smiling.

"I see. So what took you so long to get here?" The man wasn't smiling at all.

"There were traffic on the way, and…." He didn't allow her to finish her sentence before pointing to the chair opposite him.

"I don't need your excuse, just sit down."

"Sure! Lottie sat down immediately.

"My name is…." She was trying to be nice but the man raised his hands to her.

"I don't need your name, don't be childish. You are wealthy I know, let's just go straight to the point. What will you drink?" He asked.

Lottie recalled the drink Jess told her the previous day to order. "Champagne, and not just the cheap one. I want the most expensive one!"

After saying that, Lottie felt bad. She knew the price of the most expensive champagne would cost a lot of money, but Jess had given her her card to use the previous day, saying she could spend as much as she wished as long as she pretended to be her.

A smile came from the man, "ooh I see, so spoilt. You are one of those spoilt wealthy man's daughter!" He said.

She scoffed, "Whatever, I can't be arguing with someone not up to my standards right? Order the champagne I'll pay along the most expensive meal here." She said.

The man ignored her and called the waiter. A young blonde hair guy arrived.

"What do you want sir?" He asked respectfully.

"Bring the most expensive champagne for us alongside the most expensive food here." The man told him.

The waiter bowed his head, "Sure sir!"

He left after that.

The man turned back to Lottie. "I assume you must have dated different men from wealthy backgrounds right? And perhaps have sex with each of them too right?"

Lottie smiled, "Don't be such a fool. You can't expect me to date several men and still be a virgin right? Don't act like a saint."

A frown came on the man's face as me nodded to what she said. Surely, the fact that she was truthful made him to consider her as his type. Although she happened to be spoilt, but judging from her appearance and the way she act, she would make a great choice for him.

Now he will make her his wife!

Initially, he wasn't the womanizer type. He was always busy at work and managed his company as the CEO, something the media wasn't aware of. Unknown to him, his father had arranged a blind date for him and forced him to come or he will take back the company from him and removed him as the CEO.

So Ralph had no option but to agree. He wasn't interested in any lady, but now this woman before him made him to consider having her.

"Here sir!" The waiter brought the drink and kept it on the table.

He opened one bottle of champagne and poured the content into the first glass cup!

Lottie was now afraid. Why didn't Jess tell her it was an alcoholic drink, she wasn't good at alcohol. What if she drunk after taking it and spill the truth out.

What was she to do now?

"What are you thinking miss spoilt, take your drink!" The man snapped her out of her thought.

"Sure!" Lottie stretched her arm to take the cup. Now she had no option not to drink it.

Splash! Her shaky hands made the cup of champagne to drop hence it spilled all over her white dress, staining it.
