Chapter 8 - 8

At the Chapman's family, a man was sited drinking a cup of coffee when his phone rang. He took the phone and picked the call.

""Ethan! What happened? Have you seen her?"

"Yes old master Chapman. I took photos of her leaving the hotel room, I couldn't see her face clearly because she was covering her face with a scarf but I was able to take photos of her half face and a scar on the left side if yer. Maybe with this, we can be able to locate her!" Ethan told the man from the other end of the phone.

"Good. Send her pictures to me, I will search for her myself." The old master told him.

"Okay. Right away old master!"

Photos was immediately sent to him when the call disconnected. He took a look at the photos and glance at Lottie who wasn't aware of her photos taken.

"So she is the countryside girl who managed to seduce my son without doing too much. Good! Now, let's do something about her!" The old master said as he called someone. "I have sent you her photos. Find all the necessary information and send it to me."

"Right away!" The person at the other end of the phone said.

———

Ralph Chapman quickly showered and left the hotel room. All prove to see her face proved abortive be Audra even when he tried to check the cctv camera, he was told by the hotel technicians that such wasn't save not to tarnish the image of their hotel, so Ralph had no option not to leave.

Just after parking his car and walking into his office did Isaiah get inside too.

"Have you gotten her information?" He asked him.

Isaiah shook his head, "No young master, we couldn't because no one agreed to know her appearance. Also, no information about her yet."

"Okay cool, you can leave now!" Ralph dismissed him. Isaiah bowed his head as he walked away leaving Ralph alone in the office.

As the CEO of this Chapman's corporation, he knew he had many enemies but he didn't expect her to step so low so as pretending to be someone else just to get his attentions. When the fact that she was pretending to be a wealthy man's daughter while she was not was what made him when angry.

He recalled her face slowly, but the effect of the champagne did not allow her to recall her full appearance. But one thing was certain, she was very pretty and had this lovable personality despite pretending to be spoilt. He knew from the start that she was only putting on a pretense of being spoilt, the thought of her made him smile.

No woman had managed to warm his cold heart except her and now he needed to see her. To see the woman who managed to seduced him and left without saying anything.

"If I can see her just one times, I am sure I can recognize her. If she's still in this country, I pray we cross path soon!" Ralph prayed silently.

———-

Lottie , who had sprinted all the way home, was nervous.

The Green family had always been strict on her and her sister who were not even allowed sleepovers, and now...

She shook her head and thought, 'It's gonna be okay, it's gonna be fine. It's so early, mom and dad are probably still asleep.'

So she pushed the door open carefully, but the moment she stepped into the villa, she was promptly greeted with a deep manly roar.

"Lottie! You do still remember having a house! Where were you last night?!"

Lottie stopped in her tracks. Seeing her parents and her sister on the European-styled sofa in the hall, her heart sank.

Mr. Green suddenly stood up; his face in a state of embarrassment-induced fury.

Mrs. Green also looked at Lottie with displeasure, in which her glare conveyed her disappointment at Lottie.

"Dad, mom, I went to a friend's house for the night after the party. It's nothing."

Lottie dared not tell the truth. If her family had found out about her night with a stranger, she would be cast out!

Most importantly, she did not even know that man's identity nor his age?! She had given her first time away just like that.

Mrs. Green's brows slowly tangled into a tight-knit. "Which friend's?"

Lottie quickly gathered her wits and answered decisively, " Hayden."

The moment the words escaped her mouth, everyone's faces darkened.

At the same time, standing beside Mr. Green, Claudia who looked just like Lottie except she was fat than her shook her hair quickly as if to tell her something important.

"Claudia, what's wrong?"

Lottie stared at Claudia , perplexed.

Right after, a familiar figure came downstairs.

"Lottie , you're home? Where did you go last night?"

Lottie's eyes bulged as she stared at Hayden in shock.

Hayden Sadie was her childhood friend she grew up with. Normally, since both of them grew up Lottie would expect Hayden to cover up for her. But oops! It seems Hayden was against her now.

She was done for!

"Hayden ?! How are you at my house?"

Hayden tilted her head in confusion while she rubbed her temple with her hands. " I wasn't at home yesterday because I travelled with aunt Yuriel, so I slept over for the night at her side."

Slap - A clear sound of a smack echoed in the hall.

While Lottie was already weak in the knees after the night before Mr Green full powered blow sent her to the floor.

As if stars were spinning around in her vision, all she could feel was dizziness.

"Tell me the truth! Where were you last night?!"

Mr. Green wanted to follow up with a kick but he was stopped by Mrs. Green and Claudia .

Claudia took a look at her sister. Her face was wrought with worry, but her eyes betrayed a hint of schadenfreude.

"Dad, stop! Don't hit her, it must've been a mistake.Lottie may be naughty, but she has never stayed overnight outside."

Mrs. Green nodded lightly. Although the sisters weren't biological and from the same blood , they favored the clever, sensible elder sister.

No matter how much they loathed Lottie, she was still part of their bloodline.

"That's right, darling, let's make sure we're clear about everything first."

Claudia's even raised her Worry and concern.

Claudia eyes expressed her worry and sorriness as she quickly helped Lottie to her feet. "Lo, are you hurt?"

Lottie shook her head a little. With Claudia's help, she managed to come before her parents and nodded apologetically.

"Dad, mom, I'm sorry I made you worry."

Mrs. Green sighed quietly. "We're always worried about you. Look at Claudia , if only you can be half as comforting as her."

Mr. Green snorted coldly. "I'd be grateful if she's a third as competent as Claudia , let alone half as good as her!"

Claudia arrowed her yes and yelped innocently.

She held ontoLottie's shoulder and pulled down her collar, exposing the bruise marks on her neck and

shoulders, as well as the startling amount of love bites all over her body!

"Goodness, Lo, what happened to you?! Did you run into someone bad?!!

Lottie tried pulling her jacket back up, but a bad feeling welled up inside of her!

Already furious, Mr. Green grabbed Lottie's hair the moment he had heard Claudia and pulled her aside with a sinister hellfire in his eyes.

Even if Claudia did not understand what those marks on Lottie's body are, how could he not know?

"You whore! Where did you go last night?! Whose arms did you throw yourself into?!"

Lottie only felt a searing pain on her scalp and could not help but cast her gaze at Mrs. Green. "Mom..."

Mrs. Green took a step back. Her rejection of Lottie was as clear as day.

Hayden could not bring herself to act against an elder, so she said anxiously, "Mr. Bennet, please let Rachel go. She can't even stand on her own."

"Oh is that so, so she should explain herself!"

Mr. Green snorted again as he pushed Lottie to the floor.

"Tell me! With whom did you fool around yesterday?!"

Claudia kneeled beside Lottie with a face full of worry. "Lo, tell us. Daddy won't blame you, we're all just concerned about you"

Lottie bit her lower lip. "I-I don't know who he is..."

Just as she finished speaking, a teacup flew across the room and landed on Lottie's face with a thud.

Clank. The teacup found its mark on Lottie's smooth face and gave her scars before it fell on the ground and its porcelain body shattered into pieces around Lottie.

The teacup's sharp broken pieces had cut Lottie's smooth and pretty face, hence disfiguring it so badly that she didn't look like her old self any more.

The broken pieces really damaged her face that blood began to ooze out so badly and her blood dyed the white porcelain red - it was as startling as it looked.
