Chapter 2 - 2

Jess brought out her phone, tapped to her message and showed Lottie the content of it. It read; "BLUEROSE HOTEL. 10.PM"

"But why would your dad do that to you? I mean as his only daughter and from such a wealthy family he could have allowed you to get married to someone also from a good and wealthy background just like Williams. What is the need of the blind date?" Lottie was now getting angry.

"I also don't know, I tried to talk to him.. to see reason that I love Williams but he declined saying Williams is not match to be his son-in-law and that the person he wants me to meet on this blind date is a match for me. I really don't want to go on this blind date! I mean I can't when I love someone else, what's the use of going anyways?"

"So what do you intend to do now? You know your dad will get angry and might harm you if you fail to show up at the blind date?" Lottie was saying.

Jess thought for a while and I smile popped up on her face, "I have an idea. Why don't you go to the blind date instead and pretend that you are me. That way, dad will think I went."

"Don't be silly Jess, you can't expect me to do that. I mean how do I act like you? We are two different people from two different backgrounds. How do you expect me to act like a wealthy man's daughter while I am not. Please think of a better idea!" Lottie wasn't in agreement to the idea.

"Please bestie, it's only you who can help me out now. Don't worry about our backgrounds, we can just change your appearance to that of a wealthy man's daughter plus the man won't be aware that you aren't me. What do you say ?" Jess asked.

"Sorry but I really cannot. I can't put up a disguise. What if we got caught?" Lottie asked.

"We won't get caught I will make sure of that, just help me out please!" Jess now kneeled down pleading.

Lottie hated to see her friend in this condition so she dragged Jess up and made her sit on the chair.

"Okay I will do it!" Lottie said.

"Really? Thank you so much!" Jess hugged her and placed kisses on her cheeks.

"But there's a rule in this disguise!" Jess was saying

"What is it?"

"Since I don't have the intention of marrying that stranger. You must act rude towards him. You must make him hate you with your character. Act like a spoilt daughter of a wealthy man so that he can cancel the idea of marriage. You must do everything possible to make him hate you. Can you do that?" Jess asked.

Lottie thought for a while and nodded her head, " I think I can do that. Promise you don't ask me to do this next time?"

"I swear I won't. After now, I will marry Williams so my dad can let us be. We will get our marriage certificate tomorrow after you have succeeded with the disguise. So while you act as me, I will be getting married to Williams." Jess said.

A frown came on Lottie's face, "Are you sure about this?"

"About what?"

"About your marriage to Williams. Won't your dad feel bad and disown you if he founds out about your marriage?" Lottie threw.

"Don't worry about that, I will deal with it but for for now lets you prepared as the wealthy man's daughter shall we?" Jess said.

"Sure!"
