I regained consciousness and was greeted by a splitting headache.
'Ugh....'
I tried opening my eyes, but there was no response.
My body felt.....different.
It felt as though I didn't have a body anymore as I couldn't feel or move my limbs, like I was just a ball of consciousness drifting aimlessly in who knows where.
But strangely, I wasn't panicked. Infact, I was as calm as ever even when all this was happening to me. It was like someone had already told me that everything would be alright and this was all part of a certain process.
I decided to take advantage of this calmness and quickly arrange my thoughts.
'Alright. Um, my name is Kim Carter'.
I started by reminding myself of who I was
'I am a twenty one year old college student. I attended k university'.
'My mother owned a coffee shop in Seoul. My father.......'
Looks like I didn't lose any of my important memories. So I decided to check my superficial ones.
I recalled how the world ended, as well as the creature who called itself 'Quinn'. I also remembered how I 'transmigrated' and ended up in this situation. Just as I finished gathering my thoughts, as if on cue, my body regained it's sensation. I flexed my arm and leg muscles before deciding to open my eyes.
"I-incredible". I unknowingly uttered.
My reaction was perfectly natural. Infact, you'd have to be dense to the last letter of the word to not react this way after witnessing such a breathtaking sight.
What was before my eyes was an otherworldly walkway that existed alone, supported by nothing at all. It was in the midst of what seemed to be several stars and planets. I was floating directly above this divine walkway when I heard a system message.

"Inter-dimensional walkway??"
No response came back... It was expected, after all I was trying to communicate with the system itself.
I slowly and cautiously decended onto the walkway. As soon as my feet touched the path, I was overcome by a dizzying feeling and my vision blurred. It didn't go out completely but I could only just barely catch the hints of pigment as I felt myself moving forward at incredible speeds. It was so fast, my brain could just barely keep up and then

What was going on? I didn't know.
My vision returned, and what I saw next was........
An area which seemed to be at the point of intersection between several worlds, I was standing in this area. I looked directly forward and saw something that seemed to be a horizon. This horizon shone a bright, blinding light. My next actions shocked me. I was suddenly moving towards this horizon. It was as if it was calling out to me, telling me to come and see what was 'beyond' it. I was drawn to it and as my curiosity peaking I was already half running to it. It was as though, if I didn't I would miss out on something crucial, until

My vision blurred out again and I returned to the way I was earlier, moving towards somewhere at an extraordinary speed.

I opened my eyes but this time, I was greeted by a blue sky.
A radiant and clear blue sky with clouds, just like.......
I was lost in thought, until a system message pulled me back to reality
