The Heavenly tempest sword arts.
A legendary sword art, among the top six strongest martial arts in the <32nd murim> and arguably one of the strongest sword techniques in existence. In the world of the
The second category is the false or incomplete martial arts. They are less unique and more common than the former, they are possessed by people with basic attributes such as; swordsman, spearsman and so on. Their attributes and skills are much easier to obtain and the former tended to be extremely weaker than the latter.
The Heavenly tempest sword arts is made up of two classes of sword techniques; the basic techniques which are
Heavenly tempest ravaging sword dance.
Heavenly tempest heavenward sword stab.
Heavenly tempest rupturing sword slash.
Heavenly tempest talon strike.
Those were the four main techniques, each having an epiphany of its own. They were created by the ancestor of the technique and the first ever heavenly tempest sword saint. And ever since, the technique alongside the title of sword saint as been passed down to the masters of the following generations.
I have spent the last two and a half weeks, training alongside my mast...err....senior Lucas. At the beginning, I was having a lot of trouble just keeping up with them, but by now I have already learnt how to perform all four of said techniques to a certain extent. I was advised to pick one or two which I would train for life but I decided against it and trained all of them. I had just finished the morning practice when I decided to check my status window.
"Status window". I said out loud.

Holy....
It was unbelievable, the way my skills list had increased by so much in less than twenty days. I now possessed an average of twenty-three in overall stats backed with my powerful skills, I was now a force to be reckoned with and it made me happy as I let out a smile.Truly, the heavenly tempest sword saint was a godly trainer.
"Hoho. Once again, I see that you are satisfied with your stats". Lucas, my former master turned senior said.
I had already gotten somewhat used to this world so instead of replying with a shocked expression like last time, I just smiled at him.
"Hehe. Alright, the old man is out today and he said you should get some real combat experience, so...."
The sword saint had left the school earlier and said that he wasn't going to be back in a day. It was funny, actually, the way he was referring to the sword saint as an old man when he himself was a whooping fifty years old!
"So...?" I said in a questioning tone.
He started grinning.
"We are going outside town!"

*Lucas' POV*
*A few minutes ago, when we were still in the school.
"We are going outside town".
After saying this, his face grew pale. Who could blame him though, the 'outside' was crawling with various powerful beasts and monsters.
"I know that you have some... traumatic experiences with the 'outside'. But don't worry because this time, I am with you".
Since the school was not too far away from the outside. We reached after walking for a few minutes. Kim seemed to have strengthened his spirit, seeing as he was no longer scared. Or at !east, his fright wasn't apparent on his face.
*Back to now.
We decided to start small, by hunting a pack of
At first, Kim was having trouble hunting two stronger wolves due to his inexperience in battle, but now.
*Slice*
"Awo.."
*Slash*
Blood splattered after each swing if his sword. He was taking on an entire pack, on his own! He was wielding his Heavenly tempest swordsmanship like a pro slashing, stabbing and parrying all of the wolves' attacks.
"H-holy shit!"
A kid who could barely defeat two wolves a mere thirty minutes ago, was now able to solo an entire pack consisting of ten wolves with ease! It was a powerful reminder of just how much of a genius, this kid was.
"Hey, I've finished them off. They were barely a workout".
Kim said, pulling me out of my thoughts. I looked behind him and saw the wolves, all ten of them, lying dead with various cut injuries. The iron blade of the basic training sword Kim was holding, was dyed in a crimson red and was dripping the wolves' blood.
We continued hunting. After ensuring that the grey wolves could barely even serve as a warm up for Kim, we progressed, hunting stronger beasts.
The grade 9 fanged beetles.
The grade 8 silver wolves.
And even the grade 7 black wolves and many more. We hunted to the point we're he could now fight on an even level with grade 7 monsters. His progression was astounding, especially since it had only been around eight hours since we started.
I thought for some time, contemplating something before I made up my mind.
"Kim". I called out.
"Huh". He answered as he pulled his weapon out of a black wolf. The sun had almost fully retreated, giving way to the darkness of the night.
I threw him four recovery potions.
"Thanks". He said as he gulped all of them down. "That feels good". He said as he emptied the bottles and his injuries began disappearing.
"...."
I was silent again for some time before saying.
"I think it's time we increased the difficulty".
