[Congratulations! You have awakened Pain Resistance (F)!]
Jake awakened this ability naturally instead of getting it from [Overcome]. He swiped the notification aside and thought of it as a bonus
"Well, I will awaken the greater version of the pain resistance in the future, but this low version ability is not bad," Jake muttered as he wiped his sweat from his face.
Coincidentally, the class was already over, and people were starting to leave the class. That meant he had to stop the training.
Jake wore his uniform and thanked the instructor. "Thank you for the assistance, sir. I hope you help me again next time," he said, bowing to Graham.
Graham nodded in approval. "Good work, Butler. Even the original owner of your talent didn't train as hard as you. You are the most diligent student here."
Jake's eyes twitched when he heard that. He didn't care if people insulted him about anything, but calling him diligent was the biggest insult someone could say to him. He couldn't help but to feel annoyed, but he held his feelings because the teacher didn't have a bad intention.
'Calm, Jake. He is not insulting you. He is praising you,' Jake muttered in his heart. He just couldn' help but feel triggered. It was just a natural reaction for him. Luckily, Jake was a reasonable man.
"Then I will leave, teacher."
"Yeah, go to infirmary. You need to heal yourself," Graham said.
As Jake turned around and walked away, two Graham's clones entered the room. Graham B had a tired expression on his face as he complained loudly to Graham C, "Man, instructing her highness is taking a toll on my body and soul."
"But we should help her. She is quite pitiable," Graham C replied.
Jake overheard their conversation and thought, 'Marilyn is attending this class too? But I didn't see her.'
Jake shrugged and left the room. He was beaten up, so he needed to heal himself too. However, instead of going to the infirmary, he went straight to his room.
In his room, Jake opened one of the two legacy potions he had gotten. Smoke came out of the vial and spread foul stench throughout the room, making him almost drop the potion. "Oh, crap. I forgot they said this potion smells like rotten cheese.
Fearing about the smell, Jake immediately drank the entire potion in one gulp, withstanding the smell of rotten cheese in his mouth and nose.
Even though his head became slightly dizzy, Jake immediately felt the effect. The bruises in his body disappeared, and his skin regained its healthy color. Even the dizziness and built up fatigue started to disappear too. In a few seconds, he reached his peak body and mental conditions.
Jake immediately summoned the status window and read his stats. He smiled when his level rose to 2.

Thanks to the effect of low rejuvenation after reaching level 2, his body regained its peak condition. He could train again because there was no mandatory class, but he remembered Mr. Graham's words.
"What does he mean by I am diligent? I am lazy! I will prove it by spending my time in this room for the rest of the day," Jake muttered.
Thus Jake spent his time in his room, but he didn't rest, even though he was near a soft bed. He prepared papers and wrote strengthening manuals for his classmates. He intended to use them, so he had to give them a benefit as a good leader. With that, he worked all night.
The next day, Jake had completed several manuals for his classmates. He brought them as he entered the classroom.
"Yo, Jake. It is rare for you to not come early," Warren greeted from his seat, but he immediately put on a surprised expression. "Woah, are you alright? There are black bags under your eyes."
"I-I am fine. Everything is for the sake of better rest in the future," Jake replied with a hoarse voice.
"If you say so. Anyway, what are you bringing? I don't remember any homework from the teacher."
"These are not homeworks. Here for you. Just read it." Jake handed a manual to Warren.
"Warren's Strengthening Manual. Is this book going to help me become strong?" Warren asked.
"Yes. I know it sounds suspicious, but you can test it first and judge whether the book is bad or not."
Warren shook his head. "I trust you, but why are you doing this?"
Jake shrugged. "I promised to help my classmates to get stronger. That's it."
Warren chuckled. "As expected, you are a diligent person, aren't you?"
"Huh?" Jake asked, his veins were popping out of his forehead.
"Hey, Butler. You have given Warren and Hall their manuals. How come you haven't given me anything?" Brian Foreman asked.
"Ah, yeah. I have to admit that I am not knowledgeable enough about magic and supernatural power for now, but don't worry. You will get one in the future."
"Does that mean this manual contains close combat techniques?" Cody Hall asked.
"Does that bother you?" Jake asked back.
"It's just that my physical -related stats are lower than my other stats. I am not sure if close combat is suitable for me."
"Learning magic is ten times more difficult than close combat, so even with your stats, it is hopeless for you," Jake said bluntly. "At least for now. I have my plan for you. If you trust me, I will make you stronger than Reina."
Cody widened his eyes when he heard it. "You are exaggerating. Her talent is better than mine."
"It is true. You won't get stronger than her no matter how hard you train. However, you are lucky to know me. Your [Shadow Stealth] talent is silver value for now, but it is undoubtedly a dark attribute talent. You have affinity with dark element."
"Isn't dark element magic a rare ability? No wonder you said he can surpass Reina, but experts who master dark elements can be counted with one hand. Are you sure you are better than them at teaching dark techniques?" Brian asked.
"I have vast knowledge of dark magic."
"How?" Brian pressed further in doubt.
Jake activated his [Akashic Eyes] and looked at Brian. "With these eyes." He pointed at his eyes. "One of these eyes' abilities is [Heavenly Access]. It allows me to access the Akashic Records, the largest knowledge database in the entire universe. I can gain every knowledge available in this universe. That means I am a walking library."
"Actually I have a question about those eyes of yours. If you can access Akashic Records, can you know everything we have done in the past?"
Jake smiled wickedly. "I can."
"H—huh, does that mean you know all of our secrets?" Brian asked, his voice trembling."
Jake laughed. "I was joking. I can't do that. Akashic Records is similar to the human brain. No, let's imagine it as a vault. Each category of knowledge is stored in a different section. I can only access the ability section called Heavenly Access. It only allows me to see through every ability available in this universe."
Brian heaved a sigh of relief. "I see. Wait, isn't your ability too good? I mean... You don't have to buy a grimoire or a manual to learn magic or a martial art."
"Exactly. That's why I am confident in my ability to make you guys stronger. Just be my obedient followers."
"Is it true I can surpass Reina?" Cody asked.
Jake smiled and patted his head. "It depends on your effort. Even if you can't surpass her, at least you can become the best version of yourself."
Cody gripped his manual tightly and looked at Jake with expectation. "Can you personally train me later?"
---
After the regular class was over, Jake and company attended the supernatural class. This time, instead of training alone, he did it together with Warren, Cody, Brian, and Reina.
Cody frowned when he saw Reina. "Why are you here?"
Reina simply closed her eyes and replied, "Just for today. Jake gave me a manual to master [Mana Manipulation]. I want to make sure that I am training the correct way."
Jake appeared behind Cody and patted his head. "I don't know what sort of problems you guys have, but I promised to make everyone stronger. So, instead of being wary around Reina, I want you to focus on your training. Look, Mr. Graham has prepared your own special training field."
Jake led Cody to a certain spot where Mr. Graham's clones gathered. There was a hole that could barely fit for one person. "This is where you are going to train, Cody. I hope you have memorized the mantra in the manual. I want you to meditate inside this hole for the rest of the remaining lecture hour while chanting the mantra."
"Are you sure this is going to work?" Cody asked.
Jake smiled and replied, "Step on my shadow and use your talent ability."
Cody looked at him in confusion, but he complied with his order. He stepped on Jake's shadow, and his body suddenly became invisible. However, as Jake moved away, Cody no longer stepped on his shadow, and his body turned visible again.
"The problem with your [Shadow Stealth] talent is you can only activate it within the shadow, and you can't move while being invisible. However, if you do my training, I guarantee you can use your talent for combat," Jake said.
After hearing that, Cody plunged into the hole without hesitation. "I am ready!"
"Good resolve. Then teachers...." Jake gave Mr. Graham's clones a signal, and they sealed the hole with a wooden lid that had a small hole for breathing.
"Cody's guidance is done," Jake murmured. Cody had a slow start, but he didn't lie when he said Cody would become a powerful fighter. After all, All of Cody's training was the teaching of his mother, who was one of the best dark wizards in the world. Even he couldn't wait to see his growth result.
"Warren's guidance is also done." For Warren, who had an affinity with gravity, Jake also gave him the teaching of his mother. Aside from darkness abilities, his mother was also a master of gravity and dream abilities. Jake, who had achieved her teaching, had vast knowledge about dream, gravity, and darkness abilities even without using his [Akashic Eyes] to access the Akashic Records.
Aside from those two, Jake made two other manuals. He gave the third manual to Reina and the fourth manual to Misael. He had accessed the Akashic Records in order to write suitable training methods for them.
Jake gave Reina a manual to master [Mana Manipulation]. He expected her to reach a new height as a magic swordsman in six months, where she unlocked new magic swordsman's abilities.
For Misael, Jake wrote a manual to train his [Demonic Transformation]. The problem with the demon race was they had a cycle every month, where they would lose their sanity, making them a feared race. However, this problem could be easily solved with the demon race's meditation method. Of course, Jake already knew this meditation method without looking at the Akashic Records.
He had accessed the Akashic Records to look for information regarding [Demonic Transformation]. It turned out Misael could evolve his demonic form if he reached a special condition and rank. After giving this information to Misael, the man requested a special training environment and bought special resources from the academy. All of these were his effort to reach a certain demonic evolution.
"There are still classmates who haven't gotten the manuals, but they can wait. I can't slack off with my training as well." Jake stripped off his cloth and instructed Mr. Graham's clones to activate two golems at the same time.
