Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Start of Training

As the sun rose, signaling the start of the day, I woke up, got dressed, and made my way to the center room of the house, where I found my mother preparing breakfast for my brothers while my father seemed to have already gone out to do whatever it is he does during the day.

"If it isn't our little brother awake from the dead." I hear Elijah say with a slight chuckle at the end as he eats his breakfast.

Making my way to the table and sitting across from my brothers, looking around, I ask, "Mom, where are Klaus, Kol, and Rebekah?"

"Klaus and Kol are still sleeping, and I just fed Rebekah and got her to sleep again after she was crying all morning," she says, and I can hear the tiredness in her voice.

I nod to her as I take some food for myself and start to eat my breakfast. 'im 4 Now, while Klaus is 3, Kol 2, and Rebekah was just born not too long ago, given my calculations, I have just about 20 years before we are turned, which leaves me ample time to train in which I have to.' I think to myself as I finish my breakfast.

Giving my empty bowl to my mother, I was just about to head to my younger siblings' room to check on them when I heard my mother say to me, "When you're finished with the laundry this morning, come and find me behind the house and we will begin your training."

"Yes, Mother," I reply and go to my sibling's room. Walking into the room, I can see Klaus and Kol both sleeping on their bed and beside it, little Rebekah in her crib sleeping peacefully. 'they were cute when they were young; hard to imagine they go from this into the most bloodied killers in history huh.' I think to myself as I head out to go and finish my task of doing the laundry.

A few hours later...

Completing the torturous and laborious task of doing the laundry was hard to do in these times as you had to do everything by hand, and to a person from the 21st century, it's a struggle.

I returned to the house, placed the finished laundry on the table, and looked for my mother to start my magic training. Walking behind the house, I found her waiting for me with an old book in her hand.

"I see you are finished with your chore; come along; we will find a secluded place to start your training; once again, not a word of this to anyone else," she says, walking towards the woods.

Walking into the woods, we stopped where the trees formed a small circular clearing, "Alright, this will do; now sit cross-legged; we shall start by teaching you how to circulate your magic so you can use it properly." She instructs me as she walks over to stand behind me.

I do as instructed and sit cross-legged as my mother kneels behind me and places her hands on my back, "I'm going to help you circulate your magic throughout your body to get the rhythm and do it on your own. Now close your eyes, clear your mind, and focus on seeing how your magic moves throughout the channels in your body."

Closing my eyes and clearing my mind while focusing on what's happening inside my body, I feel my mother's magic pour into my body and guide my magic through my channels, clearing out blockages and expanding them, making for a smoother journey throughout my body.

An hour into watching how my magic circulates, I suddenly understood how to do it myself and subconsciously started doing it alone. 'This must be the x10 buff I wished for at work.'

Seeing what was happening with her son, Esther was shocked; never before had she seen anyone learn to circulate their magic as quickly as Ace did. 'I have deeply underestimated my son's talent for magic.' she thought to herself as she slowly removed her hands from her son's back to let him circulate his magic on his own.

Under my buff, I ultimately gained control of my magic circulation as my body felt lighter and more energized than ever. I slowly opened my eyes and turned to look at my mother, who was looking at me with surprise in her eyes.

"you are very talented, my dear child; let's continue with the lesson," she says, standing up and handing the book to me. "This is my family's grimoire; it has every spell my family has found or created since the creation of the family. Now let us officially start the lesson."

With that, my mother trained me nonstop until the sun was about to set. "Let us stop here today; I'm still shocked at your talent and progress; I am proud of you, son; now let us head back home before your father returns; I also have to take care of your younger siblings," she says as we start to make our return home together, with her guiding me holding my hand.

When we returned home, Mom went to take care of Klaus, Kol, and Rebekah while I went and washed up, then climbed into bed to get some rest after the long day of training and draining of my magic. 'today was a good start to my journey, but I still have a long way to go, and now that I have learned how to circulate my magic and control it, I can now start to work on performing some spells from the HP world.' As I turned on my side in bed to get into a comfortable position, 'This is going to be fun.' was my last thought before I fell asleep.
