Chapter 6 - Where the Loved Things Go

Things you love are always lost,

Time and time again,

You never know where they go,

Or if they'll return, or when.

This is the place where loved things go,

Time and time again,

You never thought to peek in here,

For your lost old hen.

This is why things never seem to appear where they are,

We take all your treasures,

And leave them here,

For reasons and unknown measures.

You'll never find our secret place,

No matter if you look,

This secret is not far from you,

For it's in this very book.

You look, you lose,

You search, you die,

You tell, you drown,

And none know why.

For this secret little place I hear

Is in your very brain, I fear.

This is the place where loved things go,

Time and time again,

You tried and failed to peek in here,

And now dead is your lost hen.

Things you love are always lost,

Time and time again,

You failed to find where they go,

Now never seen are them.
