"Hmm?... Where am I?... Where is this place?" Aeon wondered, disoriented by his surroundings.
He found himself standing in the middle of an expansive open field, enveloped by the darkness of the night. The vastness of the place left him in awe.
He took a few steps, exploring the mysterious terrain.
"When is this place going to end?" Aeon muttered, his voice filled with a tinge of boredom.
He decided to lay down on the soft grass, gazing up at the star-filled sky.
Suddenly, a sharp cracking sound pierced the silence, causing Aeon to jolt upright. He looked around, searching for the source of the noise.
The cracking intensified, echoing through the night, as if the very fabric of reality was being torn apart.
Crack*
Crack*
The sound resonated again, and Aeon's eyes widened in disbelief. The sky above him split open, revealing a colossal eye.
The pulsating energy emanating from it sent shockwaves through Aeon's body, causing him to convulse and cough up blood.
"**** *** ** **" The voice that emanated from the eye spoke in a language beyond comprehension.
Aeon's head throbbed with excruciating pain, his mind unable to comprehend the sheer magnitude of the presence before him.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" Aeon's anguished scream pierced through the night, his agony echoing into the void. He writhed on the ground, lost in the overwhelming torment.
Unable to bear the intensity any longer, Aeon's consciousness faded away, plunging him into darkness.
* * * * *
Gradually, Aeon awoke, his body drenched in cold sweat. His breathing was heavy, and his heart raced within his chest. He tried to make sense of the vivid nightmare that had plagued his sleep.
"What was that? Was it just a dream?" Aeon questioned, his voice trembling with a mix of fear and confusion. The memory of the eye and its incomprehensible words lingered, haunting his thoughts.
Cautiously, Aeon sat up, surveying his surroundings. He found himself back in his familiar room, the soft glow of dawn seeping through the window.
The events of the night felt surreal, as if they belonged to another realm.
As Aeon contemplated the harrowing experience, he realized that this was his first encounter with this dream.
"Aeon, dear, are you awake?" Aeon was jolted out of his trance by his mother's voice.
"Yes, Mother," Aeon replied. He decided to push the dream to the back of his mind and focus on getting ready for school.
