He is not wrong but I don't even have an explanation. "I am sorry. I thought I could just talk to Fredrick without disturbing you."
"You are never a bother," slowly Remus turns to Lucas "Should I be worried, 'cause I don't think my eyes are deceiving me. Lucas Blackwood and Gabriel Rivers in the same place, breaking into my home together." His tone is lighthearted, but there is a hint of concern in his eyes.
"Yeah, the heavens should turn and spin around at this sight,' Lucas seethes and I glare at him to shut the fuck up.
Remus chuckles "Ain't that the truth? Now why don't you tell me why you are looking for one of my Betas?"
I relay a little bit of what happened to Remus and he listens attentively. I don't tell him anything about the stone or Lucas's involvement in this.
"What does Fredrick have to do with all this?" he asks finally.
