Avel is led to the couch by Marcus and he tells what he saw.
"So, you're saying that Lord Sebastian is having a vampire woman that is sucking from him?" One of the guys is concluding the information.
Angelo listens carefully.
Marcus brushes his chin and smirks." I think is more than that, guys."
Avel frowns and the other boys look curiously at the guy who seems to have a brighter brain.
"The woman is having a difunctional vampire form." Angelo catches their attention. They turned their heads to him who was behind them.
Marcus stares at him "Bingo! ....Though you could have not stolen my spotlight…" After he brightly snaps his fingers, he mumbles the last sentence.
"Should I explain why is that?" His excitement is reborn while looking at the guys who didn't understand where the two smart brains got that result.
"A vampire who needs to drink regularly was a human whose blood was unable to bond well with the vampire blood. A unique blood I would say, most vampires don't need to drink blood…. She has to replenish her vampire blood to have a higher level of vampire blood than her human blood." August is making the guys turn their heads to him, who is behind Marcus.
"Not you too …." Marcus is rolling his eyes, being done with the two guys that were well educated.
August is smiling." This info will help us a lot …" His words are cut off by a sudden foreign presence. A blood mirror is opening up behind them.
A girl with brown curly hair is setting foot on the floor.
"Where is your master?" Marcus is talking to the mirror that still has not vanished.
//Master was caught in a crystal …..//The blood is slowly fading.
"Who caught him?" Marcus is frowning …" Damn!" His angry voice is scaring the girl who has her eyes in tears.
The boys are looking at the girl with absent eyes. None of them knew how to calm down the little thing that started crying loudly. They are concerned about Vector who seemed to be caught. Their frowns make Anette scared more.
August sighs." My father visited him after he visited Lily most likely. Most of our leaders are with us …."
Marcus seems to be in a bad mood. He also figured as much as August.
Anette is running towards Angelo.
The boy is sitting on a couch. He catches the girl in his arms and pats her hair." Calm down …." His voice makes the girl stop crying. She rubs her eye on his shoulder. "When am I going home?" She looks into his green eyes.
Angelo smiles shortly and glances at Marcus who looks at him.
"Hmmm…. What's your name?" Marcus asks the girl who copies Angelo and looks at Marcus.
"My name is Anette." The girl says her name with a sobbing voice.
"You will go home soon …I think." Marcus looks at the girl and brushes his hair back while starting to walk around the room.
"Really?" Anette looks at Angelo. The boy nods. She gets comfortable in his arms and looks at the boys who seem to be moving around.
Angelo pats her head and she yawns. After all the crying, the boy's arms were warm and her eyes felt heavy.
'Why is she sitting on my lap ….?.... Is she seeing me like the least dangerous guy around here? ….'Angelo frowns mentally, a little displeased by how the girl makes him feel. Despite his thoughts, he continues to pat the girl. Anette was better off in his arms silent than sitting in the middle of the room crying.
Marcus is discussing with three of his guys. He instructs them to go and alert all the leaders to be careful since Sebastian might have them in his visor.
The three guys teleport and Marcus is dragging August in a corner.
"We can't send the girl back. She was sent here by her father for a reason. She will stay with us. Can you go and bring her mother here? This is the address." He hands him a note.
"I'm out then …" August teleports in a hurry.
Marcus breathes deeply and strolls in silence towards Angelo.
"She seems to take a liking to you …. You might have a superpower when it comes to girls …hahaha…" Marcus jokes whispering, trying to decrease the stress that makes him have a bad headache.
Anette sleeps peacefully in Angelo's arms. The boy feels his arms go numb, but ignores it. He looks at Marcus with a glare.
"Don't wake her up, with your stupid jokes!" His green eyes darken.
Marcus raises his hands in defeat and goes to talk with the other two guys and Avel.
Angelo follows him with his eyes. The boy didn't have to remind him how unlucky he was when it came to girls. Powers or not …. he was purely unlucky as fuck. He sighs.
The little girl reminds him of Dina when she was little. Although he never saw Dina cry, she had the same black eyes as Anette.
Memories follow as he remembers the nights he woke up, and Dina was sleeping over him. A subtle smile is covering his absent face.
After a few minutes, August steps out of the bloody mirror.
Marcus frowns," Where is the woman "August strolls towards him and sits on the empty chair.
"She was given a mission to do. My father told her to attend the wedding and also to keep her mouth shut about her husband's disappearance. We have to let her do it, else …" His words are cut by Marcus.
"Else, your father will know is us. No need to make him question Vector more if the woman vanishes suddenly ."
August smiles and confirms." That's right. She is fine if we let her there. He won't harm her as long as she is obedient."
"What about the girl ?"Marcus looks towards Anette.
"Anna begged me to let her stay here with us. She said she trusts us if Vector sent Anette here... Her son will remain with her. No need to protect him too. " August says referring to Sam while glancing at the little girl who was around age seven. Sam her brother was around the same age as them.
"Good then .....Should Angelo be the nanny?" Marcus glances at the boy who sleeps with the girl in his arms. The guys refrain from laughing, as Angelo scares them.
August giggles." He will kill you if he hears you calling him that."
Marcus is rolling his eyes." Didn't he say he wanted to work in the shadows?"
....
On the other side – In the castle
Stefan is touching Mary and she doesn't feel anything. Dina blinks and slaps her head.
"You can go Mary. I'm fine!" She makes a serious face and the maid is getting out of the room.
"Why didn't you tell me that no one can see you?" Dina felt her head blow up from the stress she had.
"You never asked." The grandpa is smirking and claps his hands." Now that I am awake and fresh, let's go!"
Dina didn't even blink and they were transported to an old house in a forest.
She falls on the hard floor and she arches her back from the fall. After mumbling a swear she glances at the man who stands perfectly on his feet. He is looking around and he blows the dust that was on some books placed on the desk.
She stands up and follows him curiously.
"Where are we?"
Lord Stefan glances at her and with a raspy voice he says," This is the house where I lived with your granny. I moved into the castle with Sebastian after she died. I see no one come by this place since then …"
Dina looks at the book he brushes the dust off and leaves opening the door as she searches in the house." Hmmm…. this is a nice house ..although is kind of small." She is already in a different room, which seems to be the living room, from all the open space it has and the welcoming couch.
Her voice is heard from a different room.
The house has two rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, all these being connected by a corridor that was in the middle of the house.
She looks out the window and sees a small lake. Some swans are sliding on the water in a peaceful rhythm.
"Youngsters and their disrespectful mouth! "Stefan is responding to her remark. The man found the house enough to live in without worrying about anything.
His voice makes the girl smile." But here is peaceful! "Dina yells back and her grandpa doesn't reply.
Stefan hears the girl's words and his heart warms up. He wished that the girl would like the place.
"Great! Soon you will change your opinion, so enjoy the peace as much as you can." The grandpa opens the door and goes into the kitchen. The girl was in the living room near the kitchen.
She frowns but chooses to get out of the house and watch over the swans. Dina closes the door and in a run, she moves towards the lake.
The wind is blowing her face and her hair is wildly bouncing as she runs.
'So, this is how it feels to be free ...'
"It feels great! "Her voice is heard murmuring as she breathes heavily.
//You will scare the swans, master." Crimson is heard, as she has the ring on her finger.
Dina slows down and catches her breath.
"Shut up …." She frowns but her smile comes back as she gets behind a big stone to watch the swans who seem to not feel her presence yet.
'So beautiful …. they look like angels …."
She contemplates their beauty …
'Nothing like what Angelo looks like …'
She smiles shortly and looks at the swans who seem to make noises …Soon, grey-colored cygnets are swimming hilariously towards their parents.
The girl watches them with awe. Her grandpa pats her on the back after a few minutes, making her yell.
