After cleaning the room, Dina looks at her grandpa who is leaning in her bed sleeping.
Was it fair to clean alone? She felt rage towards the man who looked younger than her, who was sleeping in her bed as she was cleaning the room.
Not to mention that a few minutes ago he was telling her that they should train the blood as fast as possible. Now he is snoring like the old man he is.
"Tsk …" Dina looks at him.
"Don't tsk me …." Stefan opens his eyes and glares at the girl.
"I can ask who I want ….." She glares back. The girl brushes the hair falling off her cheek, with anger.
"Are you done cleaning?" He shifts the subject, wanting to know if he should sleep some or wake up. Stefan yawns loudly.
"…..Grrr….." A growl is heard. Dina is the one doing it, she tries to restrain beating him with some pillows. Although Stefan could have beaten her back worse, this is the reason why she restrains so badly.
The girl could have finished cleaning faster if only he had helped or used his blood to clean up. Won't they have time to train more this way?
"Don't be mad. As a Queen, you have to know how to clean up after yourself. "The man is closing his eyes ignoring her, continuing "Call me when you finish."
"I finished." She says with a serious tone.
"Let me ten more minutes …." Lord Stefan mumbles sleeping on his back with his hands on his chest.
The girl blinks and speechless leaves the old man alone. What can she do to him? Nothing.
She sits at the table and closes her eyes thinking of his last words.' No enemies …..'
In the beginning, she thought that Sebastian was her enemy along with August. However, they seemed to not be. What about Ralph and Faris? She wished to talk to them too. But Sebastian was keeping them.
She wished that all this situation to be clearer, but the more she found out, she simply didn't know what to do anymore.
'If I see Angelo …what I'm going to do?' Her heart aches when she remembers that she had this problem too.
Her eyes closed.
The silence is settling …..she falls asleep with her head on the table.
A few minutes later, Mary busts in the room. She sees Dina sleep with her head on the table, having gone off her arms as a pillow. Some books were there, and the rest that were on the blood, in the morning, seem to be placed back on the shelves.
She shakes Dina a little and the girl wakes up. With her half-closed eyes, she sees Mary look at her frowning.
'OH NO! Don't tell me she saw ….' Her mind can't keep up with this and she screams." Grandpa!" Her eyes stare at Mary who tilts her head.
"Did you have a nightmare, young Miss?" The maid looks concerned at the terrified expression the girl has.
"Let me bring you some tea …." Mary wants to turn but Dina grabs her arms." Don't …. I am fine …. hmmm…pat me some more, madam!" She makes a twisted smile and glancing she sees Stefan on the edge of the bed.
'Can't he vanish? Why is he making everything worse?...AHHHHH!' Her contorted face is making Mary wonder if she pats her well." Are you fine, Young Miss?"
"I think I live in a nightmare, madam Mary …. You can't help me …." The girl sighs and glances at the man who stares at the maid's back.
"…. I think you need to sleep on your bed. All these nightmares are going to disappear. Come with me!" Mary wants to help her stand up, but the girl is stopping the madam again.
"I would like to read some more …. Can you pat me some more?" She smiles and grabs a book.
With her eyes on the book and Madam Mary's hand patting her, she glances at Stefan who is coming towards her.
'DIDN'T HE WANT HIS PRESENCE TO BE SECRET ?!' Her mind is a mess and she just stands there looking how the miniature of a grandpa comes to ruin both of them.
.....
In the shadows a bird watched Sebastian kiss Lily. As the wind blew the bird took its flight.
The room underground where blood smells makes Angelo disgusted. As Marcus and the other guys take a cigarette break, August sits near Angelo.
"Aren't you hungry?" August breaks the ice with his question. He looks at the black-haired guy who seems lost in thought.
"I'm fine," Angelo says shortly.
"What are you thinking about?" August seems to not get that Angelo didn't want to talk to him. Or he knew but he wanted to see what the boy was thinking.
"You don't need to know. "The green eyes turn to him; the madness fills them.
"Don't do stupid shit …." The blondie is warning him. "I know that face …" He smirks and points at him with his index finger.
"I won't violate our agreement …as long as you don't violate it first. "Angelo says in a low tone.
"You will violate it first," August smirks.
"As long as you don't involve Dina, I will not." The boy frowns and feels tired of talking this nonsense with the blondie.
"Since when are you so honest about your feelings?" August sips from his drink. The first time they talked, Angelo seemed like the one to hide his feelings a lot.
"What feelings?" Angelo flinches.
"About your love for Dina, of course." He puts his glass on the small table, in front of them. The blonde boy turns his blue eyes towards Angelo.
"Why do you care?" The boy growls. He never liked to discuss his feelings so openly. However, he was the one screaming that he loved Dina a few moments ago.
"She will never return your feelings. "The boy takes another sip from the glass. Angelo is silent. The boy continues saying, "Especially after she knows the real bad guys. She might consider you being after her only for the position. Even I would think that."
Angelo understands what the boy says. Not only did Dina fear vampires, he was the one transforming her into one. Her fear of vampires decreased, given the fact that the girl accepted his bite.
However, he couldn't lie that he knew about his father's plan. If he would tell her that he wanted to set her free of everyone, she would not believe him. Dina would doubt him for sure.
He felt the love in her eyes …but now he wonders how will the girl look at him. Would she have the same loving eyes? Or hateful eyes?
Fear stumbles upon him ...
Thinking about it …..August was right. Maybe it was better for him to not meet with her again. He won't be able to take the hateful and disgusted eyes she will give him.
"Your right …", said Angelo in the end.
"At least I am seen as a friend …hahaha…. not entirely as a piece of shit. "August is laughing bitterly.
Angelo frowns." You are lying. I am sure she sees you with the same eyes."
"Why would I tell you that if I was lying? I'm telling the truth …. I felt blessed that she still considered me as a friend after all I had done." The boy is sighing.
Angelo feels his jealousy rising. If what the boy says is the truth, why would he need to fight with him? He was already closer to the girl. Dina would choose August before himself.
He looks disheartened towards August, "I think you should pull me out of the front lines. I will be in the shadows." He rises from his place and goes to the restroom.
August smirks viciously. Marcus glances at the boy and smirks.
The bathroom door is closed and he smashes the wall cracking some of the tales. Blood lingers down her knuckles. He grits his teeth and lets his head lean on the wall.
'I deserve it …..If only I was honest with her from the start …..if only I could have the courage to confess properly ….'
Now it was too late for him. Dina will never believe him. He hates to agree that what August said was true.
His heart aches and he leans down on his knees.
'That's it …..At last, I can protect her from the shadows ….'
He makes his decision to not appear in front of her again. Washing his hands, he looks in the mirror.
"Hahahaha…. I look ..like trash …." He laughs bitterly and splashes some water on his face too.
After finishing his business in the restroom, he closes the door and looks at the boys who are gathered in the center of the room.
There was a bird. Angelo senses that it is the blood of a vampire.
Soon the bird transformed in a mirror and a boy around 15 years old with grey hair steps on the floor.
"What did you find, Avel?" Marcus is putting his hand over the boy's shoulders and smirks.
"You won't believe what I found …." Avel is sighing as if he was sad about that.
