Chapter 27 - Ch 26-My days in the Luofu

Meliodas Pov-

*Knock*

"Wake up it's your turn to make breakfast" Jingliu knocked on my door with eagerness.

"Ugh it's morning already," I said in annoyance as I woke up from the sunlight thing my eyes.

It has been a week already since I've stayed in Xianzhou Luofu, and I have to say that it has been more productive than I thought it would be.

On the first day, I met the monkey king and ended up staying in Jingliu's place

On the second day, I had a spar against Jingliu and I got my ass handed to me. It seems like she really went easy on me when we first fought because her ice is stronger than her speed. She was interested in my [Blue Rose] sword since the ice that it produced was a special type of ice called eternal ice, in Wich per the name means that it will never melt.

And her ice is strong don't get me wrong, but unlike the ice of my sword hers will melt naturally or by someone whose fire Adeptla arts are equal with her ice eventually making her interested in it.

In the end, I made a deal with her in Which she taught me her ice-related Adeptal arts and I let her study the sword. She probably agreed to it thinking it was useless for me to learn it since I can't even use ice from what she has seen. Perhaps he just thinks that it is my curiosity.

But For me, it's a win since her teachings might help me get high progress when I acquire the Eikon of Ice Shiva. Also, the fact that she will probably find nothing considering the fact that the sword is not related to this word in any way, making it hard to study it or even activate it without my help.

... what even is it made of to begin with, I wonder if it is still ones and zeros since the [Blue Rose] sword when activated still shows the code magic-ish circle so it might be some sort of physical code form or something.

Anyways moving on, on the third day, things got serious.

I fought Sun Wukong and we both fought with pure martial skill... well it was more like one-sided bullying but to be fair most of my weapon masteries are C rank besides my B rank swordsmanship and my A rank spearman-ship, but even if they are high, they aren't anything special at all, at most they are just the basics or base that any warrior would need until you reach at least A rank mastery you will not be able to create a unique style for that weapon mastery.

I do have A rank Spearmanship and I can make a style for it now but I'm waiting till I'm able to unlock my second Eikon, specifically Odin because of his ability to make weaponry as shown in the game.

I'm going to wait till I get Odin to make a speed-based style combined with the spear you can make called Gungnir or even his sword Zantetsuken. He also has the ability to cut anything. I also hope Odin has the attack hit stack skill he had in the game which allowed you to make a single strong attack depending on how much of the gauge you filled up by attacking an enemy.

On the fourth day was when I started to learn a bit about the Luofu and It was actually one of the funnest class I've had in a while, even in my past life my favorite subject was History and Science.

Before the Xianzhou Luofu was formed, many different types of Adeptal clans lived here in Liyue. But as you would expect, a civil war happened that lasted almost 500 years, but then Sun Wukong came in and wiped all their asses into shape along with his companions consisting of Jing Yuan, Jingliu, Dang Hang, YingXing(blade), Baiheng, and the leader of them all that is himself, Sun Wukong. If I'm being honest I'm just glad that they didn't end up like the High Cloud quintet from Honkai Star Rail.

After that, they Built the Xianzhou Luofu with the help of Adpetal art, the Adeptal Clans, and Adeptal technology under the Wukong banner.

But after years of peace, another annoyance came along Which was this world's version of Sukuna.

It seems like he managed to place and hide many cursed items throughout the Luofu and unsealed them at the same time causing a huge slaughter.

It seemed like they had beef before Wukong made the Luofu and Sukuna came for revenge. But of course, at the cost of their lives, they managed to survive the onslaught of unsealed high-grade curses that were spread throughout the city by him and Wukong ended things once and for all.

I can see now why Jingliu reacted the way she did when she saw Rika, she just didn't want the same thing to happen again. Especially when it is a curse at the level of Sukuna.

After that problem, they had a few internal hiccups here and there but Wukong used some good old-ass whooping and they all got into line rather quickly.

Hehe, I guess Wukong's specialty is beating them till they understand, And it was rather effective.

Well from there on there wasn't anything noticeable or worth remembering like the rest so I won't bore you with the details.

On the Fifth day way the day was the same as another day would be, morning spar with Wukong and then some history and culture lessons but that day was special because Jingliu started to teach me her Ice arts and I have to say when she was teaching history she was good at it but when it comes to Adpetal Arts related to ice, she is even better.

Adeptal energy is quite similar to the Aether energy from the final Fantasy 16 universe, Aether is the land life force and the origin of magic. And similar to Adeptal energy it is the Natural energy emitted by all living beings whether it be a plant or a human being.

But when it is related to beings such as humans and animals, it all comes from the soul. That is also the reason why it is hard for humans to learn Adeptal arts, apparently the lifespan around here is related to the soul, and since human lives don't last that long, it also means that they have meager amounts of Adeptal energy/life force, for humans they can't even start to dream of using any of it as it would kill them before they could even cast any Adeptal arts as any living being that runs out of their life force will die.

But it is a whole different story when it comes to the Adepti that have strong souls and live for a very long time meaning a shit ton of Adeptal energy, even the lowest tier of Adepti have souls bigger than the healthiest human out there.

I should be able to use Adeptal arts or at least copy them and translate them using Ather/Life energy that my soul emits as fuel, because when I combined with Bahamut my soul became even stronger than any Adepti though I have noticed that a lot of it is sealed as my body wouldn't be able to take the change at once, that probably why I have to raise my efficiency with the certain Eikon to gain Their full strength.

At times like this, I wish I was born here as I would also be able to use Adeptal art but I do not emit it from my soul unless I gain some sort of adaptability skill from my system or Adeptal energy itself.

Like I said although Adeptal Energy and Aether are very similar they are still both different. It's like two different types of cheeses, although at the base they are both kinds of cheese, if you look closer you will see that they taste different, are made different, and are used differently in dishes.

...Dam I'm hungry,

but ignoring that, all I have to do is translate her skills and use Aether energy as its base fuel.

The Sixth day was a break day for me, and Jingliu showed me a bit around the Luofu herself she showed me some of her favorite teahouses she likes to frequent when she has time and some blacksmiths that make good weapons, especially training weapons. I go early couldn't imagine a normal sword handling the sheer strength of an Adepti like Jingliu so the swords they make are really good. Another thing is that I might or might have not gotten Jingliu addicted to my cooking.

In the days that I had been staying with her, I insisted on cooking for her and I just have to say that my S-rank cooking really was useful at times like these. She gobles up the whole dam thing and when she realizes what she did she just shamelessly asks for seconds saying "I can't teach you my Adpetal Arts with an empty stomach so make more!" And I did and it was amusing... it also reminds me of the times that I cooked for my daughters for the first time, when they tasted it they gobbled it up in seconds so I guess cooking for others makes me feel a little less homesick.

And now today, the 7th day.
