I hurried my feet away from the bleachers, turning to leave.
After all, the game was over.
Despite the game been finished, and the champions being awarded their medals, I could still hear people cheering on, while they made their way out of the field. White paints splashed all around, as artists made sure the give the field a piece of art, spraying the grass with white colours, and having the words 'Greenville High' sprawled on it.
The area in less than a second had turned wild.
I moved away from the field, approaching the exit, when I heard call of my name.
Turning around at once, I found Cameron, figure stood feet away, eyes peering on at me, with that smile still on his face.
Fiddling with my fingers nervously, the corners of my lips tugged upwards, returning his smile.
"Congratulations" My voice remained low, eyes locked in his.
"You came" I heard him mutter to me, while I nodded, smiling on at him.
"Thanks for coming" He uttered in a calm voice, his gaze never leaving mine.
"Not like I actually needed you here" he added.
Oh great! He was back to his usual self.
My lips parted, opening to say something to him, when I heard someone afar call his name.
Savannah.
She hurried over to him, crashing her lips onto his, arms wrapping around his neck, while she kissed him passionately.
Standing there watching their figures kiss right in front of me, caused a sting in my heart, pain rushing inside of me.
My face fell at the sight right before may eyes, watching as he had his arms wrapped around her, pulling her body closer to his.
Heart stacked with uncertainty, hurt and joy, I turned around taking my leave towards the exit.
"Congratulations babe" I heard savannah utter to him while I walked away.
"Thanks" He replied in his usual calm voice.
Just before I made my way through the exit, I turned back, having a final glance at their figures, and right then, our gazes locked.
My gaze locking with his not wanting to let go, and him, just watching me go further out of sight.

I returned to the mansion at around 5:20pm, arriving just a few minutes late.
Walking into the living room, I found Tyler and Logan setting up decorations and banners, a few people I had never seen before also present there.
"CONGRATULATIONS, GREENVILLE SOCCER TEAM" One of the banners read.
A number of soccer balls were sprawled on the floor, while jerseys of every player on the winning team was hung up, dangling from a prop.
A large table sat at the far end of the living room, drinks of all sorts placed on it, alcohol included, and by its side were also champagne buckets, ice cubes filling it.
Ashley walked in with Derrick, David and Dylan, her eyes staring on at Logan and Tyler.
"Are people already turning up?" Tyler questioned.
"They're all busy celebrating at the field" Ashley responded
"But my friends are on their way" She added
"I could hook up with some of them" Tyler whispered to her at once, a smirk growing on his lips.
His utterance caused a look of disgust appearing on the face of Ashley, feet turning away as she proceeded up the stairs.
I hurried into the kitchen, and on realization that miss Tara had gone home already, joy filled my heart. I did manage to escape her scoldings.
Searching around, I realized every maid had gone home, leaving I, the only one in sight.
Staring at the load of dishes that were piled on the sink waiting to be washed, I gave a low sigh.
Looking around the entire area, I took in the state of the kitchen
It was in a mess.
Grabbing my apron that very second, I hurried over to the sink, packing the dishes up, amd setting them into the dish washer.
Once washed, I had each one set carefully onto the dish rack.
Going down on my knees, I commenced scrubbing the floors, while soap water dripped down my apron.
I suddenly heard footsteps drawing closer to the kitchen, and then, two girls walked in.
Both holding wine glasses in their perfectly manicured fingers, conversing and laughing with each other, voices high-pitched and loud. One of them being a brunette, and the other a red-head.
The latter moved forward and was about placing the wine glass which she held in her hands on the island of the kitchen, but missed her step.
She tripped on her foot, causing the glass falling from her hands, shattering to the floor.
"Oops" She giggled, while kicking at the tiny bits of glass with her feet.
"I'm so sorry" She gave a low laugh, eyes watching me.
"It slipped" She uttered with a grin lingering on her lips.
I could tell she was only mocking me, for whatever reason?
"Don't tell me you're drunk" the other girl muttered, while dragging the red-head out of the kitchen.
A sigh escaped my lips as I moved over to the shattered wine glass.
I took out a brush and dustpan and was just about packing the mess, when I heard screams and cheers coming from the living room.
"They're back!" A voice squealed.
I tried ignoring the noise coming from the living room, going on with my chores--cleaning the rooms
Getting to one of the rooms, I pushed the door open and shut it back in place, the instant I saw what was going on--A boy and a girl completely naked inside, having sex.
I could hear the girl's loud moans, pushing through my eardrums, even as I walked away further away from the room.
Going over to the next room, hoping I wouldn't see something else like that, I made my way in.
A feel of relief rushed to my heart, as I found the room empty.
Red cups were littered on the floor, the doom being in a mess.
Grabbing the broom and brush out, I began the round of cleaning.
It didn't take me much long to have everything arranged, and quickly, I made my way out, proceeding downstairs.
Music blared through the loud speaker that placed in the living room, figures dancing and rocking to the beats.
My eyes scanned around, suddenly taking a hold of the figures sat on the couch.
Cameron and Savannah.
He remained seated, while she stayed on him in a straddling position.
His arms were wrapped around her, while their lips locked.
Having a look around the entire room, I noticed the amount of people making out and engaging in one thing or the other.
Hurrying out of there at once, I made my way into the kitchen.
My jaw dropped at the sight in front of me, eyes broadening.
The kitchen which I cleaned about an hour ago, was now looking like a trash corner.
Bottles were everywhere, alcohol was spilled on the floor, and even the figures of a boy and a girl were on the kitchen island making out.
They stopped as soon as I walked in, their gazes fixed on me.
"let's go find a room" The boy uttered to the girl, grabbing her hands, and then leading her out.
I fell to the floor the instant they walked out, my body already exhausted, bones weak
Someone walked in, but I couldn't tell who it was, cause I had my head still bent low
"Are you okay?" The voice spoke.
Fixing my gaze up, Arabella's profile came into view.
She came?
"yeah. I'm fine" I lied.
Getting up at once while her eyes followed me, I then picked the broom, ready to commence another round of work.
Just about picking the litters on the floor, when Arabella held my arm softly, stopping me mid-way.
"You don't look okay, Nia"
"Let me help you with it" She uttered immediately, grabbing the broom from my hands.
"I can do it myself" I protested.
"No you can't" She uttered after me.
,"Have you looked at yourself?..... Your eyes are heavy already. You look tired. You need not worry. Nia. I'll take care of it" She added.
I tried interjecting, but she interrupted me.
"I'll do the cleaning" She uttered with a smile on her face.
I watched in silence as she cleaned the kitchen, mopping and scrubbing the floors with water.
My fingers grabbed onto a wet cloth, cleaning the kitchen island with even after she told me not to.
Together, we took care of the kitchen, working side by side.
In just ten minutes, we were done.
"Thank you so so much" I uttered to her with much sincerity in my words.
My arms were placed together, eyes gazing on at her.
"Anytime" She smiled.
Staring on at her figure, different thoughts filled my head.
I was just getting to like the girl stood feet away.
Even though her mother seemed troublesome and impossible to keep up with, she was quite the opposite--Nice, and knew just well how to communicate with people.
She was just about uttering something to me, when a figure proceeded into the kitchen.
Logan.
A smile grew on the lips of Arabella, at the sight of his figure approaching, eyes watching him in delight.
"Hey" He whispered to her, moving closer to where she stood.
"I've been looking everywhere for you"
He wrapped his arms around her body, planting a kiss right on her lips.
Soon realising my figure was stood there, he turned around, looking on at me.
"It's alright, she knows about us" Arabella uttered in a low voice to him, saving him all stress.
I noticed his face soften at her utterance, while he held her close to him, as they both walked out of the kitchen.
After their exit, I soon made my way upstairs, going into the guest room which I stayed in the last time I slept here.
The room was dark upon my entrance.
Dark and silent.
Turning on the lights at once, I gave a sigh of relief finding the room empty.
Shutting the door behind me, this time, I made sure to have it properly locked, while I laid back on the bed.
