In a split second, the creature seemed to sense the danger and attempted to dodge, but it was too late. Elwin's dagger struck the target accurately, penetrating deeply into the lizard monster's eye.
The tremendous pain caused the lizard monster to let out a painful and angry roar. It swiped with its sharp claws, trying to shake off Elwin, but Elwin had already let go of the dagger and evaded its attack.
