Under the protection of six rays of shimmering light, Elwin and Cassidy ran like shooting stars, slicing through the darkness towards the depths of the cave. The shimmering light was as gorgeous as angelic wings, enveloping them tightly, like a moving fortress of divine light, shielding them from attacks by monsters from all directions.
Cassidy tightly gripped her twin swords, her golden hair dancing in the wind like a fiery blaze. Her eyes sparkled with resolve, sweat trickling down her cheeks as if forging the iron will of a warrior. Elwin held his dagger, its blue light shone like a beacon of hope, constantly guiding them forward.
The surrounding monsters, seeing them escaping, let out angry roars that were wild and cruel, making one's hair stand on end. They surged towards Elwin and Cassidy like a dark torrent. Some faster monsters had already caught up with them, their jaws wide open, their hideous faces like demons from hell, seemingly ready to swallow the pair whole.
