[JAKE POV]
I always thought that our heroic deeds for beating up bad guys, saving princesses and being cool dudes would land me a good place in the after life.... well it did land me in nirvana, but that's besides the point, my point is that I expected to be reincarnated to a loving family and home...not to wake up in a prison cell and get dragged by the ear by some mad man who calls himself a warden.
But sadly that is the reality of my current situation, *sigh* whatever I've just got to escape this place and find Finn.
Could Finn be trapped here too?
No... I don't think so, something in my gut is telling me that's not likely, but I'll still look for him just incase. I was brought out of my thoughts by the feeling of my fur being dragged across the metallic floor that was cold to the touch because of the nature of the weather, the hand of the warden applying more pressure continously being applied to my ear lobe by the warden, and the fall of snow on my body as I was getting dragged, and the endless rambling coming from the wardens mouth that i wasn't paying attention to, once again reminded me of my current situation.
" Oi are you listening to me, kid?"
Asked the warden whose name i haven't gotten.
I glanced at him for a second and finally stared at him, with an uninterested look that obviously screamed that i was not going to humor what he was saying.
Looking at the warden, he had a weird presence, the kind you'd only feel around crazy people but the more I look at him the more I get confused,
The warden had long black coloured hair that passed the top of his back, then ends of his hair had a hint of blue at the tips. he had eyes that resembled the night sky when you stared into them. He was about 6 feet tall and had a baby face that he has probably had for the most of his life.
But he had the nastiest smile you'd ever see, the kind of smile you'd see people have from being extreme sadists.
*SHIVER*
Nasty.
Getting annoyed by my lack of response , the warden's expression changes a bit from a sadistic grin to a neutral smile, although this lasted for a brief moment before his grin returns with an ominous glint in his eye, I dont like that look in his eye it screams he's planning something devious. He then drags me into an elevator to take us down to the lower levels.
I had prepared my mind for even more pain from this psycho only for nothing to happen, but I hadn't let my guard down, why didn't i let my guard down? Because the psycho hadn't stopped giggling to himself for some time now.
Preparing for the worst I couldn't help but notice the layout of the mines and refinery
It looks a normal refinery and mines with how the actual refinery above me, the level we just left is made of the obvious stuff meaning steel and other materials , but not everything is as it seems, like the fact that the place where I currently am resembles more of an underground city, that had a large hole blasted through its centre to make the crystals more accessible and to make some sort of housing for miners. Its a city made of rock buildings that are on the insides of the large hole that I dub thee the title..... THE PIT. Although I said these would normaly be buildings for any activity, they were instead used as prison cells to cage for animal humans like me.
As I was getting dragged by the warden I saw the face of other animal people, some had varying expressions, some had a look of disgust that was directed to the warden, others had fear in their eyes and lowered their head if they ever met the wardens gaze and the rest were either apathetic to the situation or had simply lost the will to even attempt to escape from here.
As we passed their prison cells most if them mirrored one expression, looks of pity directed towards me.
After some more dragging we finally came to an elevator probably for him to get to the Bottom of the pit.
Out of no where the warden grabs me by the neck and lifts me across the railing separating the miners from the prison cells and falling to the bottom of the pit.
I clawed at his arm trying to stop him, cause he wasn't allowing me to breath, but failed to do so. Seeing me struggle caused an ecstatic look to dawn on his face, he seemed to get a real kick out of watching a child struggle...yeesh what a weirdo.
While he was distracted I bit him on his hand a few times, fangs and everything it had even drawn out some blood which seemed to finally bring him out of his psychotic glee and replaced it with an irritated one.
He looked me in the eyes with a bloodlusted expression. The next thing I knew..
*BAM*
He had thrown me into the bars of a prison cell, the force of the throw had knocked the air out of me and left me unable to breath for a few seconds, before I could really recover from the previous hit, the warden then continues to attack me by following up the throw with a kick to my gut, before grabbing me by my neck again and hitting me with a right hook to the face, he reeled his arm back and punched me again.
*THWACK*
and again
*THWACK*
and again
*THWACK*
He continued doing this for a while, at some point he had stop holding me in the air and just placed me on the ground to get a better position of pummelling my face in while laughing hysterically. The onlookers either turned away to avoid the gruesome sight before them while others were simply apathetic to it.
At this point in time my jaw had already gotten used to the feeling of his fists hitting my face and I've got to tell you he hits like a hammer. My Glob my entire face hurt, but I've faced worse.
The rocky floor had been painted red with my blood, Glob I can't even imagine what my face would look like after all this.
And despite the beating he was giving me, I don't know whether it was my lack of a reaction to his aggressive action on me or it was that he hadn't satisfied himself enough by caving my face in.
He lifted me off the rocky ground and carried me over the railing and asked me a question.
" Do you yield , child?"
He asks with a fake smile.
The next words that came of my mouth came out instinctually , like as if my body was used to saying it, like it craved rebelling against this psycho.
" I.DO.NOT."
That seemed to serve as a trigger word for the warden to leave me to gravity's mercy, as I began to free fall down to the centre of the pit.
The last thing I saw was the wardens apathetic gaze as he watched me fall down the rabbit hole of the mines.
