"She's so scared. But her strength is that she doesn't allow anyone take advantage of that fact." Laurius had said as he walked with me. And he was right. I'd known that from the moment I saw her. And maybe that's what drew me—is still drawing me to her. Her will. Her drive to fight back. Maybe it's all that and even more. I'm yet to know why exactly I'm drawn to her, or why I wish to keep her close to me, but I plan on finding out.
She wants to kill me. But last night I saw how terrified she was when she thought she had actually killed me. She was scared of the fact that she had murdered a man in cold-blood, even though that man was her enemy. I could smell her fear, could see it in her alluring amber eyes.
Eyes that are ever so alive, they glow like molten metal stored in a glass. Finer than any I've ever seen. Bewitching to an extent, I must confess. Entrapping even.
