In the afternoon Eder went to see Freya at the park where they planned to meet. When he arrived she was already there.
"I hope I did not make you wait too long?" he asked as he sat on the bench near her.
"no, I was here only 3 hours ago" she joked and he chuckled.
"sorry for being late. I was busy" he apologized.
"I understand"
"so? What do you want to do?"
"I wanted to know… this" she said hesitantly "I mean. You and I meeting and talking and all… what is the aim?" she wanted to know if he wanted to be her friend or perhaps he liked her.
"I … like you" he said she smiled but detected the slight feeling of contradiction in his voice. She knew a 'but' was coming. "In truth I wanted to have a you as a friend."
"why? I mean? I am sure you could have.. uh as many friends as you like" Eder knew what she meant and that if he was not clear now she might be hurt later.
"having much contacts and friends are different things you know. You are just different. You are sincere. That's why I like you" Freya just nodded in understanding.
"okay then, let's go and do something" she said.
"what do you want to do?"
"hunting" she said excitedly. Eder smiled.
"okay then, let's go hunting" then they went hunting.
Freya did not know how to hunt. She had never learn. Her sister always made sure that they have enough blood supplies. She made sure that Freya learns how to fight, heighten and sharpen her senses even more but never hunt. Freya did not know why. But she did not care she enjoyed the hunt with Eder. After what he invited her to the cinema, they had a good time. Then she went home.
Freya reached home, happy and excited. However, her excitement died when she found the house in the dark. She looked around the house and could not find Dahlia anywhere. She went to ask Emmett but Emmett told her that she had come home and her car was parked in the garage. Freya went inside and asked a maid, they said that Dahlia was in the mansion somewhere they didn't know. She often want to be left alone. So Freya started looking for her sister. After searching everywhere she stll could not find her so she decided to call her. Dahlia did not pick the call. Freya became worried for a while before she remembered that it was Dahlia Quinn, what could possibly happen to her. She decided to wait for a while. She sat with her phone on the couch in the parlor.
Dahlia came a while later from the back door. Freya immediately felt her coming, so she stood up and went to her.
"where were you, Dahlia?" she asked. Dahlia gave her a weird look.
"do I have to give you explanations now?" she asked.
"I looked for you everywhere"
"were you perhaps scared I had disappeared? Or I was kidnapped?" Dahlia asked her. Freya now find that it was absurd of her to get worried over Dahlia. She smiled.
"yeah right. What could ever happen to Dahlia Quinn?" Freya joked and they walked into the house. If only she knew, Dahlia thought.

Matt came to Eder's office with a folder. They were at the Galann's headquarters. Eder was also having a report his secretary gave him. It was a report of the oil company's fund usage and their was something wrong. He had told Matt to investigate it. Matt reported him that it was indeed not good. She had managed things to make it look like he was misleading the funds of the company. What the hell!? Since he was the one who choose the financial director of the company, it appeared like a plan he maneuvered.
Eder leaned back in his chair and laughed, which surprised Matt. What was she trying to do now? This was becoming just funnier. He knew that it was serious and she could make his empire crash very easily if this was exposed. However, he didn't care, he could create another empire in no time. He had an immortal life for this. But what he wanted to know was why? She gave her sister permission to see him. So why?
Eder left to see Dahlia. He went to her headquarters and she was working. He barged in her room with a cheeky look. Siara was behind him with a sorry look. Dahlia waved at her dismissively.
"where are you manners Mr Galann?" Dahlia asked,
"what is this?" he asked putting the folder down on the desk with an amused smile.
"you can read, can't you? If you had taken the time to read it I think you would have understood"she said lightly putting the folder aside. He moved slowly around the desk and stood near her. He grabbed both sides of her chair and turned her to look at her face. His face just inches away from hers.
"why are you doing this? Were you bored and looking for a game to play?"
"you should already know that I don't play" she told him holding his gaze.
"then what do you want?" he asked after a short while.
"I warned you not to stick your nose in business that does not concern you" she said. He understood that she was talking about him investigating her past. How does she know? He wondered.
"so that's it?"
"yes, you see this…" she pointed at the folder on the table without tearing her gaze away from his "… this is a warning. If you don't want more to happen to you" she said calmly. Eder looked closely at her.
"what are you hiding?" he asked but she didn't reply. "I will find out eventually. I know it will bring me closer to you so I won't stop"
Dahlia raised her hand and placed it on his shoulder. Then she slowly traced it down to his chest. Eder's breath itched in the process. She was not even touching his skin but it had this effect on him, why? He wondered. She narrowed her eyes at him. It was as if she knew the exact effect she had on him. Then she pushed him up until he was standing straight and she was standing also. He looked down on her still not letting go off her gaze.
"stay out of my business. Now leave my office, I have work" she said with a cold hard voice but Eder was too carried away to hear it. He came back to his senses after she said 'work'.
"this won't stop here. I will find what heavy secret you are hiding, Dahlia." he said and walked out of her office. Leaving Dahlia standing with her hand that was on his chest hanging in the air. She sighed and her hand clenched into a fist. He wouldn't find anything unless she wants him to. She smirked and sat back on her chair. He will only waste his precious time. Their was no trace. She just did that because she wanted to show him what she was capable of and scare him away from her life but she was wrong. He seem to take everything so lightly and care freely that it even surprised her. He seem to just be hanging on more. What could it take for him to leave her life? Those silver-eyed are so stubborn..
