At the round dining table with food and utensils set, Kyle and his family were there, sitting as they did before. Kyle sat across from Henry, who sat to the left of Mother as she sat across from Christian.
His hair was black and much shorter, his fangs were gone and that thirst for blood was as well. He was drawn to the plate of food in front of him by its delectable aroma.
"First day of high school right, how was it, did you make any friends?" Henry asked rapidly as he picked up his fork.
"Yeah, it was okay, could've been better if I stayed home. And I met two other kids in the first period class." Kyle said as he took a bite of his food.
"This is your first week of high school, you aren't going to start it by missing days." Mother said strictly as she didn't even look at her food.
"Yeah, the first days are important." Henry said.
"Yeah, whatever." Kyle said as he was still chewing. "But what about you Dad, how was work today?" He asked as he looked at his plate, taking in the aroma .
"Work was horrible, it turns out the same criminal I've been chasing for the past few months was you." Henry said, making Kyle's heart drop.
"What-" Kyle looked up, being met first by his white hair as it overlapped his eyes. Then by his father.
Mother and Christian suddenly vanished, leaving him and his father alone with each other. The walls of the kitchen dropped, then disappeared into the ground. Leaving only a table between them.
Henry's face was filled with distress, there was visible stubbles all over his face looking like black dots, his eyes were baggy as if he hadn't slept in months.
"We were just having dinner, why did you lie to me like this? I have to arrest my own son.." Henry said as if he was about to break down.
Kyle didn't speak, he couldn't find the words to, was he supposed to answer him? He didn't know. He just stared at his father- at this weakened state Kyle put him in.
The chairs suddenly disappeared, dropping Kyle to his arse while Henry stood with handcuffs in his hands.
"My own son, how could you do something so evil and criminal. Did I fail you.. please don't resist, I can't bear to see you like this." Henry slowly approached him.
"W-What no." Kyle crawled back, unable to get himself on his own feet. He frantically crawled away. "I- I Di- Dad I-" stuttered his words as tears fell from his face.
"There are no excuses, you killed and murdered hundreds. You're a criminal, one who drags everything back." Suddenly hands sprouted from the ground clinging onto his arms and legs, stopping him from getting away as Henry continued to step closer.
"W-wait, M- Mo-" One of the hands grabbed his hair and pulled his head back. Making him stare at the sky which was dark as well. However he could see everything clearly, even Mother who was standing over him.
Her arms up and her hands against his Father's chest, stopping him from getting closer.
"It's my fault, don't blame him." Mother pleaded for him.
"No!.. It isn't-" He shouted. He couldn't let Mother blame herself on his behalf, he reached to get their attention but they weren't listening. He wasn't getting to them, something wet fell on his face.
Thinking it was raining, he tried to ignore it to grab their attention to tell them what he did and how he felt but then he saw a piece of his Mother's flesh dipping on his face. Making his jaw drop in surprise as he saw a chunk of Mother's arm melting off her bones, he tried to push it up to stop it from falling off her arms but it just dropped through his finger.
He saw his father's arms also melt and frantically tried to rush over to him to stop it. He slipped as he didn't realize their legs already melted, putting him on his back as he stared at them. They glared at him deeply before melting completely and dropping on him as if a bucket of water was being poured on him.
*Thud* Kyle quickly jumped out of the chair as he slammed his hands against the desk, breathing sporadically, as he realized where he actually was. "Damn it." He said as he covered his eyes.
"Hey-" Deiamos put his hand on Kyle's shoulder to check on him but it was slapped away since Kyle didn't recognize him.
Kyle suddenly stood up with his eyes closed and jumped over the desk to get away from him.
"What the hell?" Drey said as he stood up from the couch before Kyle sped past him.
He ran out of the castle and jumped off of the Perron. Leaving Drey and Deiamos speechless and confused because to them, Kyle just started acting crazy.
They didn't know at the moment, Kyle was hearing hundreds of voices all in his head shouting for their lives making feel as if his head was spinning. He had the feeling of needles piercing his skin as if he was still locked up inside of the HPA base.
Kyle moved quickly through the Castle's yard, not caring about what ever crashed into. He followed a strong scent of blood, hoping it would bring away everything. He scratched away at his chest uncontrollably, trying to make that irritating feeling go away.
He made it to the wall, separated the castle from the city, and continued to cover it. Now covering his ears so he wouldn't hear anything. It didn't work unfortunately it felt as if escaping these voices were impossible. He kept his eyes closed as the fear of opening them back up, still being locked inside of that cold and lonely cell haunted him.
The only person who could feel the pain he's currently experiencing is Queen Aria. Who was still locked deep in the Alfheim castle's dungeon.
"Hopefully you can hear me, my poor grandchild. To be experiencing the curse of life just so you could live peacefully is the greatest blessing. I'm sorry but this is the heir's role, you mustn't look back anymore." Queen Aria's voice appeared in his head louder than the others, giving him a safe time of clarity before it all started again.
The noise is overwhelming, feeling as if it was going to burst out of his head like a broken pipe.
"Shit." He mumbled as if that would ease the pain.
Just as he said those words, Drey and Melissa felt that feeling for a second, it was like that pierced their heart then disintegrated away less than a second later.
Melissa would've made her move body without thinking but this time even her blood knew there was nothing she could do for him as she is now. On the other hand Drey immediately went on his way to him, leaving Deiamos to protect Melissa.
Although Kyle's mind is too disturbed, sensing his exact location was hard especially with the strong smell of blood coming from that direction.
"Did he have a nightmare? That's a completely different emotion than before, is it guilt?" Drey thought as he ran through the castle's garden.
The garden was overgrown, housing dozens of insects. He got through most of the bushes by jumping over them as there were long thorns in most of them. He made it to the Blutheim castle's walls quickly. It didn't take him long to climb over the walls which were about 20 meters tall.
Drey stood at the top of the wall and glanced over the entire Kingdom as the castle rested on a hill near the corner of the Nation's borders.
But just as Drey reached the walls, Kyle made it to the edge of the town, only 2 blocks until he reaches the forest. And when he does finally get their, he's violently hitting branches constantly, some even able to leave on scratches his skin, shredding pieces of his clothes off. As all of the noise scared animals away.
Kyle ended up misplacing his foot and lost whatever momentum he had as he crashed into the ground. The fall almost knocking sense into him but as he tried to stand, he unknowingly touched thorns. Making him think it was needles, his rampage continued.
He was staggering about as the fall from earlier, damaged his left leg. Kyle started to run out of breath as he slowed down. He still kept his close as the image of that cell still lingered in his head. Until he ended up tripping into the river of blood, he didn't even realize how close he was.
The noise finally started to disappear as he felt the warmth of the blood caress his skin gently. Relieving him of the irritating pain and fear of the cold and lonely cell. "Where am I?" He had only just woken up but this feeling of tranquility made him feel like he had no problems in the world. He felt light, as the blood entered his mouth and traveled down his throat. He ended up passing out again as he floated southwards the river.
Only getting there minutes after, Drey made it to the river of blood. Losing all traces of Kyle that was left in the forest, he only assumed that he continued on the other side of the river.
He took a sip of the blood from the river, to regain his stamina before looking for Kyle again. He jumped to the other side and quickly continued his pursuit. Even using the tress to cover more ground but the further he got, it became easier to realize that he lost track of Kyle.
"I can't sense him anywhere, his mind is still all over the place. I need to head back to 'D'. He knows the kingdom better than I do, maybe he can find him easier." Drey thought as he started following Melissa's scent to reach the castle.
Hours past since Kyle had gone missing, Drey and Deiamos were out looking for him all night until the sun began to rise, they decided to take a break as they could still sense that Kyle is still alive.
And unbeknownst to them Kyle ended up drifting deep into the lands of Blutheim, where his body was miraculously stopped by roots that were sticking out of the ground.
He was then found by a little girl with a long and gray cloak covering her body. She was barely able to pull his body out of the river, struggling as he was much larger than she was. She left him on the riverside before running away.
