"Could they have been Noble Elves?" Deiamos thought as he walked into one of the buildings. "No, her face is unmistakable, even her scent. If he's here then she must be as well.. She should be as well, maybe in the Kingdom... I should leave soon."

"This place is awesome, it's a crime not to explore." Melissa said as she looked around at all of the buildings.
"There's only Elves here. You see the look they're giving us." Kyle said as he tried to avoid eye contact with everyone they walked past.
The Elves had pointy ears, golden hair and golden eyes that match. Some of them had the same brown skin as the Vampire while others had a more warm beige tone. So that clearly wasn't the issue, Drey and Melissa were stumped trying to figure out what the Elves' problem was.
Kyle and his servants were being followed by two of the watchmen. The watchmen were following them by traveling on the roof of the stone buildings. Kyle couldn't understand it, whenever they would try to take a difference in attempts to lose them. The watchmen would utter words loud enough for only them to hear, in a dead and raspy tone, it sent chills down their spine.
"It's clearly a crime for us to explore this place as well." Drey said as he looked up at the watchmen. "So we gotta continue on this one path to the castle."
"Yep. Enjoy the kingdom as much as you can because this is all we can get." Kyle said as he looked at the signs of shops as walked by.
Kyle seemed to be the only one to actually follow his own advice as he looked around in awe jotting down a mental description of what he sees.
Seeing this world in person was something that at first felt so far away but he can finally scratch that off of his list. Now it's the next step. He doesn't know what to expect when he gets to the Queen so he's making sure to remember the route they're taking to the castle.
The buildings were built in a way that you wouldn't normally see, especially in New York city. They were all about the same height, going up to nearly 3 stories. The buildings were all built out of grey stones but they had their own unique styles when it came to design and bringing in customers. Although they were made of the same material, it was hard to mistake a store for another.
As they walk further, they start entering the residential area of the area of the city. Where the first black gate is more apparent. It seems to be a different area which was slightly elevated. The entryway was atop of stairs. This elevated area seemed to only have houses and mansions.
"Must be the upper class. The Noblemen's houses look fancy as well." Melissa said before he saw six Watchmen guarding the gate's entryway.
Four of the six Watchmen were standing by the gate's doors while the last two paced around and secured the bottom of the stairs. (One on each side.) As Kyle and his Servants reached the stairs, the Watchmen started opening the gate's doors.
"You will be entering the heart of Alfheim, all noblemen must be treated with the utmost respect. If you were to disgrace them and disregard that sole rule. It will end in your imprisonment or even death." The Watchman said before he stepped to the side so they could get through.
"We won't make a mistake." Drey said as he tried to keep any hostility to a minimum.
*Clak* They heard it from the direction of the Watchmen that were following. The sound of armor- *THDOOM* sounding as if a boulder landed behind, they turned around and saw a large Watchman standing behind them with his large two handed sword holstered on his hip.
"I am Chief Chorian of the Watchmen from this point on you will be escorted by me." Chief Chorian's voice was deep and raspy as if he had problems with his throat. Chief Chorian's armor had more bands than the Watchmen, there were three stacked gold bands flowing all over his armor suit.
"Wel-" "I will not talk to mere servants unless your master plans on disrespecting us." Chief Chorian abruptly cut Drey off as he put his hand on his weapon.
"What a jackass." Kyle thought before he stepped in between. "..I am Kyle of the Blutheim Branch." Not knowing much else to say he held his hand up, thinking the Chief would meet it with his own.
"Odd." Chief Chorian looked disappointed as he seemed to be observing Kyle's body before he shook his hand. "This must be your sign of agreement or something equivalent. It means nothing to us, actions speak louder than words."
"Is that right?" Kyle said as he pulled his back quickly, he noticed that the watchmen on the roof had already left.
"I am now guiding you to the gates of royalty. This way." Chief Chorian said as he walked up the stairs.
Kyle walked ahead of Melissa and Drey so they wouldn't make another misunderstanding like that. The previous conversation with the Watchmen put the vampires on their toes, what exactly does King Fusis know?
[In the throne room of Alfheim Castle.]
"You've met him already, in the suns' light?" King Fusis asked in a confused tone as he looked at the clerestory windows.
"Yes. Chief Charian escorted them through the Noblemen district. It was him and his servants, they didn't seem to mind the the sun." The Watchman said as he knelt, only raising his head to speak so his words travel clearly.
"So I was right.. the princess must've stayed behind." King Fusis thought to himself before he looked at the Watchman. "Good work, head back to your post."
"Thank you, my king." The Watchman said before he stood up and left the throne room.
Once the Watchman left, King Fusis walked to a door that was close to his throne. Waiting on the other side of the door was his retainer and royal bodyguard.
"Get him ready." King Fusis orders his retainer.
"Right away, my lord." He bowed before heading down the left hallway.
"Make sure your men are ready as well." He told his bodyguard.
".." The bodyguard nodded silently before he followed behind the retainer.
"I should have some time to kill." King Fusis said as he walked down a different hallway.

Kyle and his servants were still being escorted through the Noblemen's Quarters. Although they weren't sure how many hours passed, the two suns had just started to set. You could see the moon rising on the opposite side of the sky.
The Noblemen's Quarters had a significantly different air to it. This area of Alfheim seemed deserted, the only people you can see were the shop owners but not even they were inside the stores and there was only one store every other corner they passed. You'll need to look hard to even see a person. With all that said, judgmental looks weren't gone... Kyle felt eyes drilling into every angle of his head.
"This is so awkward." Kyle said as he looked at the windows of the houses.
"We didn't run into any Elves. He made it seem like there was going to be a lot of them outside." Drey said as he referred to Chief Chorian.
"I doubt we'd actually disgrace any of the noblemen anyway. I mean we couldn't even interact with anyone on the other side of the gate." Melissa said as she looked at one of the house windows and saw someone peeking through rose embroidered blinds.
*Muttering* They could hear the vague sounds of people chatting but it was words that they couldn't understand.
"I feel like you just jinxed us." Drey said as he looked ahead and saw what looked like a family of Elves turning the corner on a block just a block away.
There were three children that seemed to be just about Kyle's age, and a married couple. They could tell they were married because of the two similar rings they have. They didn't seem to realize that there were vampires ahead of them. As the distance between them shortened, the married couple started to make out their appearance behind and almost as if it was built into their system, a disgusted look on the couples face started to form.
"Shit." Kyle said as he can smell that abhorrent feeling radiating from their bodies.
*Thunk* Chief Chorian took a meteoric stop, making it sound like everything in the world dropped as he stood still.
The Elven family immediately turned around and took a different route. "I pity you fools." Chief Chorian said as he put his hand on his sword's handle.
The vampires immediately backed away more than 10 feet away from him with a single step as they pushed their feet as fast as they could.
"That was way too close." Kyle said as a deep cut crossed his nose.
"How the hell did I even weave that." Melissa said as a few strands of her hair were outta place. .
"Pay attention. He's not done." Drey said as the middle of his jacket was cut in half.
The instant Chief Chorian put his hand on the handle of the long sword, he did a full 180 swing in less than a second. Hoping to cut all three of the Vampires in half.
Kyle and his servants were able to evade an attack that moved faster than anything they've seen. With the only warning they had this time being Chief Chorian's hand placement, if they weren't watching him. He would've cut them all in half with that one swift attack. Though only Melissa seemed to realize that at this moment. Kyle immediately started weighing their options.
"Are you escaping punishment?" Chief Chorian questioned in a perplexed tone as he held his sword with one hand.
"We can't get through his armor with our bare hands, the only way to kill him is if we take his head off. We need to go." Kyle said as he looked at the roofs.
"Where?" Drey said as he already knew what he meant but hoped to be somewhere else.
"Where else? We're half way- " Kyle couldn't even finish as Chief Chorian charged him with his blade already falling onto his head.
Kyle swiftly pivoted to the right, letting the slam into the ground. If the last attack showed his speed, then this one showed his strength as his attack went straight through the ground.
"How disgraceful." Chief Chorian said as he turned his head to Kyle. Who was standing besides him.
"Well shit." Kyle said as he stared at his reflection in Chief Chorian's armor.
