Everyone held their breathe as engines roared. The race was about to start. Thousands of people looked at the lights were turned red, yellow....and finally green.
Vroom Vroom
Swoosh Swoosh
Over 15 racing cars took off. They were to drive over 20 laps covering 25 kilometers.
It was not strange that the six renowned cars that looked alike took the lead.
It didn't take long for to cars to close in. These were also skilled racers who had spent most of the time sharpening their skills. They started blocking each others path. The six cars that looked alike formed a pattern blocking off the other competitors.
Racing wasn't about only driving, this was about strategy. If one outsmarted the others it would be their win, if they failed...Well.....
Boom!!
A BMW sport was knocked off the road. It rolled violently. This created chaos as those who were vigilant smashed into it.
'They are really good and very skilled. I guess Sheila wasn't boasting. She is the most skilled. Though I knew she would win I just want to see what she will ask for. It can be said I want to form a good relationship with them. Which way is better than this.'
Karl thought calmly as he looked at the race which was on going. Another car crashed but it was eventually evaded. There were now 10 cars remaining.
Taking the lead, Sheila couldn't help but smile. The bet motivated her more as she drove and left every one over 10 meters. This caused her sisters to wonder what happened but remembering her bet with Karl, they smiled and 'left' her.
As sisters they worked together so it was natural for them to do so. Karl who was observing couldn't help but shake his head. It was obvious as day that he couldn't win even if it wasn't his goal from the start.
Mizuki became curious. His focus has been on the leading car since the race started. "Is there anything wrong with that car." She asked as she closed in the distance between them. Her body pressed against just slightly.
"Nothing much, am just impressed by the driving skills." He said.
As they sat close, a woman walked in with a cart. She gave out snacks to those who were interested. Instead of picking two packets she picked one.
Karl just looked on. She opened the packet and brought one piece to his mouth. He ate it making her smile. These small things were what made a couple happy. Not wanting to kill the mood he also fed her.
This scene earned them jealous gazes from women who were impressed by his handsomeness.
The race continued till 12:00 pm. Sheila emerged the best much to her glee. There weren't many things that made them happy so seeing her like this, seems she had a plan that's why she was happy.
Mizuki's phone buzzed. It was a call from her mother. It seemed to be an emergency. She looked at her phone and felt conflicted. She knew which ever thing that came up involved her. But they had just reunited with Karl.
"Don't feel conflicted. You are always welcome whenever you want me. So feel free to answer your mom."
She nodded and sighed. Suddenly pulled him closer and kissed him deeply. She stood up and left immediately. Karl was left in daze for a moment.
"Seriously, just like that. Seems it took all her will to do that." He muttered. He had long noticed her feelings for him but wanted she herself to stop hesitating. Seems my change gave her a green light.
[The race has ended. Go to the parking area. We shall meet there.]
He received a message and left. Women tried approaching him but he politely like a 'gentleman' was refused.
What would this woman ask for. He couldn't wait to find out. He wasn't worried at all. Reaching the parking area there was no one in particular. He stood there about two minutes.
