In the middle of the battlefield, nothing was visible of the fight between the king of Yastaz and the chief commander of Vensah - because of the sand flying in the air around them .The audience that consisted of the people of Yastaz and Vensah, watched on anxiously ,as the winner of this battle would determine which of the countries would take ownership of Viriah - the tiny country that had been famed for having humongous mines, containing all sorts of valuable minerals.
The war for Viriah had been going on for seventy-eight years , thus it was baffling how this battle would be able to finish this war so easily . To the audience's relief the sand finally started to settle down ,making the situation in the battlefield visible .In the middle a man with olive skin , and black hair covering his eyes stood and looked down upon a bulkier , fair man , who was lying face down in the bloodied sand . From one side of the battlefield, soldiers with red and golden armors entered and picked up the fallen man.
One of the soldiers holding the commander felt a pulse from him and looked up at the man looming and staring at them , wondering if the man had shown mercy or was plain stupid . What the soldier saw in that man's eyes was an emotion far from what he had expected .It was seething rage. But why had the man let the commander live if he was angry at him? The soldier's question was not able to be answered as the king of Yastaz raised his head and walked in the opposite direction of where the soldiers were meant to take the commander, to the break room given to the king.
The room which had unbreakable glass doors was opened from the inside by the king's trusted aide and right hand man, William Stryker. He lowered his head and smiled while congratulating the king , not being able to notice the anger on his king's face. His (the king's) soldiers swarmed around him and started shouting at him about how he shouldn't have gone easy on Vensah's commander. The shouts and congratulations made him feel oddly warm while he knew he shouldn't be feeling so, as they all would probably chew his ears off if they knew that he didn't truly kill the man.
Suddenly all congratulations, discussions, shouts, disagreements and cries turned oddly silent. The king , confused, looked behind him out of the glass door , where everybody seemed to be staring. The sight that graced his eyes at that moment ,was one he had searched for in every corner and shadow in the past six years .
There was a woman walking to the middle of the battlefield. It didn't look like she had intended to fight at first by her attire ,but there was a sword in her hand, making her purpose of coming in the battlefield clear.Everybody's attention seemed to be on her but the only one she had her attention on was the king. They both stared at each other intensely, with numerous emotions swarming around , but the only emotion they had in common was excitement . The king's lips raised up to form an evil smile ,still, while staring at the woman-Vensah's queen. The king spoke, without ,moving his gaze "William…..Sword" His aide offered the sword to him , the same sword that he hadn't bothered to take in the last fight. With adrenaline pumping through his veins he held the sword with the hilt , bared it's blade and walked right up to where the queen of the opposing country stood.
While he walked down the path, his soldiers worriedly watched his back grow smaller. There was no one in the entire coliseum that didn't know the famous story of the royal lovers coerced into turning enemies because of their countries' hatred. But the people who had actually seen what that separation did to the yastazian king were the people who had been with him throughout that crucial time, and of those people were the soldiers who watched his back at that moment ,worrying , scared about what this reunion would bring out from two of the best fighters in the world and two of their best friends.
