" Good afternoon Sir, Ma'am" Rose, the head house help of Nicholas greeted them when they came in. She was a middle aged lady.
" Have you set up her room" Nicholas asked her.
" Yes sir"
" Okay, show her to her room" Nicholas said leaving Julia. Julia has been quiet since her outburst in the car. Nicholas had also not tried talking to her. He understood that she must need her own time.
"My name is Rose. I am in charge of running things in the house"
"Are you the boss's girlfriend" The house help asked her trying to strive a conversation.
Julia was not in the mood of talking to anyone. She had done enough talk attending to the people that came for her parents funeral.
" I am asking because the boss has never brought any woman home" The woman still did not get the memo that she was not in the mood.
"Can you just show me to my room?" Julia said shunning her.
"Sorry, Ma'am" Rose said showing her the room.
