"Welcome back. How was work" Julia said when Nicholas entered the house. She was currently wearing an apron with a cooking spoon in her hands. She was almost done with cooking when Nicholas came back.
"It was okay." He said before leaning in to kiss her on her cheeks. "I could get used to this"
"Go change your clothes and come down. I prepared dinner personally for you" She said with a really big smile, one that was so big that it bothered on the line of being too much.
He looked at her twinkling eyes like she was someone who had a plan and a big favour to ask of him.
"Okay, I will be right down. Don't injure yourself in the kitchen"
"Sure thing. I am not a baby so don't worry. Just go up and you get to eat the best meal ever" She said walking back to the kitchen.
Little did she know that all this are not necessary because he was going to help her anyway with just her asking. He was expecting her to have cried after everything that happened to her.
