Chapter 8 - Chapter 1: The Fall of Jackson

Jackson was a foolish, lazy, selfish, cranky, and pessimistic young man who still lived with his parents in their Nashville home, the capital of Tennessee. His parents tried to persuade him to move out and be independent, but he tricked them into letting him stay in their home. He was far from a good person. One Saturday, he got up and did his usual routine before going back to his bedroom to play games all day. But as soon as he entered his room, a huge hole appeared out of thin air and he fell into it. Captain Laid was the main leader of the Happy Pirates, who were on a quest to find the secret island of Zurina, where a hidden treasure was located. The Happy Pirates were joyful, patient, kind, and gentle people who hated violence and instead sought to solve problems through compromise. Captain Laid was in his cabin drinking beer and eating delicious meat prepared by his favorite and cheerful chef Tuliano. As Captain Laid took a bite of his big piece of meat, he saw Jackson fall out of a hole in his cabin. Jackson fell out of the hole and landed on the floor. Laid laughed so hard that he almost choked on his food. The Captain stood up and helped Jackson to his feet. He smiled at him as he saw that Jackson was confused and scared and even began to panic. "Hey now lad, no worries. You just appeared out of nowhere. What's your name? Would you like to join my pirate crew?" said the captain kindly.
