The captain took Jackson to his quarters and gave him some clothes and a hat. He told him to change and join him on the bridge. He said he had something important to show him. Jackson reluctantly obeyed. He changed into the pirate outfit and put on the hat. He looked at himself in the mirror and felt ridiculous. He hated how he looked. He hated how he felt. He hated everything.
He left the cabin and walked to the bridge. He saw the captain standing at the helm, holding a telescope. He had a grin on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He saw Jackson and waved him over. "There you are, lad! Come here and take a look! You won't believe your eyes!" he said excitedly.
Jackson approached him and took the telescope. He looked through it and saw a small island in the distance. It was green and lush, with palm trees, flowers, and birds. It looked like a paradise. But there was something else that caught his attention. Something that made his heart skip a beat.
There was a huge skull carved into the side of a mountain. It had two glowing eyes and a gaping mouth. It looked menacing and ominous.
It looked like the entrance to hell.
"That's it, lad! That's Zurina! The hidden island of treasure! The secret of secrets! The mystery of mysteries! The legend of legends! We've been searching for it for years, and now we've finally found it! We're going to be rich, lad! Rich beyond our wildest dreams!" the captain exclaimed.
Jackson felt a chill run down his spine. He didn't like the look of that island. He didn't like the sound of that treasure. He didn't like the idea of going there.
He had a bad feeling about this.
He wanted to go home.
But he had no choice.
He was stuck with the Happy Pirates.
And they were heading straight for Zurina.
