At a certain location in Japan; At Saitama prefecture—there lies the Yamada State.
"What did you say?! Saint Stella Academy's being attacked?!"
The sound of Jin's voice sounded loudly inside his study with the sudden news. He looked agitated by the news that he just received. The information stated that a barrier was suddenly spotted from the outside—enveloping the whole campus. The barrier was completely invisible from the outside, and without any way to analyze the surroundings it was impossible to notice it. Thus, the late information relay.

Earlier at the Kage no Kishi headquarters;
The only ones who were left there were Kim and the other subordinates of Jin. Kyouka had gone with Jin back to Japan to do something really urgent—also the vice chief of the Kage no Kishi was still on her business trip to France. Thus, as the analyst and the information manager, Kim was left in charge of the office.
"Hauu, so boring."
She yawned as she fiddled with the computer's screen in front of her. She was wearing clear glasses as a counter radiation from the light of her screens. Facing her were floating screens of great numbers. It already exceeded dozens—but she uses no keyboard to operate. She would just use her words as a command system to do what she wants to do with her cyber work. And then, as if remembering something, she made a file appear at the screen of her monitor.
"Ah! I forgot that I have to deliver this file to sir Gleren. The file that sir Yamada ordered me to deliver."
She sighed.
"Ugh, I don't wanna leave my room."
She complained to herself. Kim has a private room inside the headquarters. From then, she processes and analyzes all the information she received and all that she was asked to give. Half of her work is to read all the messages that were meant for Gleren—love letters to be more precise. It was not part of her work actually. It was one of her bad habits.
She looked really unmotivated, but she shut her eyes which made all the monitors shut down as well—then she once again opened her vision, the light in the room automatically turns on—revealing the interior of the once dimmed studio. There was nothing here, really. Only a chair and a bed—also mass of her garbage from eating fast-foods; pizza box, beer cans, potato chips' empty packaging and many more. It was a white room that looked like a garbage area to be precise.
Despite moving lazily, she left the room to take a shower and changed into her proper clothes. She intends to deliver the documents to Gleren personally. It was confidential information, after all.
After preparing and donning her make up with more effort than usual, she left the headquarters for the academy where Gleren was. Everything was normal and she reached the area where academy was with no hassle, but when she was about to enter the gate, that's when she realized that somethings off.
"Ouch!"
She cried cutesy as she held her forehead while she sat down on the spot. She bumped into something. She cannot enter. There was something invisible that was preventing her from doing so. At first, she thought that there was something like clear glass that was blocking the path, but as she tried to throw stone at it, it just bounced away silently. Something had repelled it.
"Hmmm…"
She tilted her head. Kim is a curious girl at heart and she is the kind of person who takes interests in something she cannot comprehend. Thus, licking her lips with her soft looking tongue, she pulled something inside her shoulder bag.
"Hehe. Time to work little baby."
She took something that looks like a cube that had the size of a box which usually contains a weeding or engagement rings. She put the cube on the ground and cracked her fingers. After twitching her neck, she grinned.
"Bloom, my reality! {Cyber World!}"
As she said that, the cube opened like a flower blooming at the middle of the path before the gate. I shone in blue light and the brightness it brings is lined with what seemed like panels of pixels. From then, computer panels and monitor screens appeared and floated in the thin air.
This is her, Kim's ability, {Quantum Fixate: Cyber World}. This ability allows Kim to dive into the world of information using that small cube that she had. Once she activates this ability, she leaves the reality behind and goes to his fixated addiction of acquiring information about something that interests her.
This is a powerful ability that lets her acquire any data that was in the web of information. She smiled; her curious personality showed itself with how happy she looked at the current situation. However… no matter how powerful her ability was, as she touched the barrier that once repelled her, she was met with a shocking truth.
"Wha—?!"
The light from the cube suddenly dispersed and all the screens, monitors, and computer panels that were supposed to be floating around her disappeared all of the sudden.
"My ability was cancelled?!"
she said in shock. But suddenly, the corners of her lips raised into her typical naughty smile.
"Interesting!"
She tried once again. At that time, Kim was completely lost with her curiosity and never stopped until she completely understood what this invisible wall was.
She came to the conclusion. All ability is cancelled within the area that the barrier engulfed and/or touched. She also spread what seemed like colored light produced from her ability indirectly to know how much of the academy the barrier had covered. What appeared after she did this was a dome-like barrier that covered the whole academy. This is what she had reported to Jim.
After that, Kim called the other members of Kage no Kishi to try to destroy the barrier, but none of them were able to do so.
This information was all relayed to Jin using Kim's ability.

Saitama, Japan; The Yamada state—I, Yamada Jin is in panic.
"Kyouka! Contact the President! The academy is in danger."
It has been a long time since I have felt this way. Gleren is strong, I know, and I don't doubt that a single bit. However, with their ability sealed, he might do something overboard. That kid is not afraid of being in danger when it comes to saving others. Also, if everyone cannot use their ability then only few people could fight back. That boy should not fight while having to protect others, he will surely do something crazy.
"Kim had already relayed the message to me, sir. I also already got the permission to ask for reinforcements from the President."
"Good!"
I'm glad Kyouka's here with me. Her efficient judgement and swift decision making are crucial at times like this.
This Kyouka… she might look composed but she looked really anxious. You're worried too, huh…
"Whom shall I call sir? The president said that since we cannot return in haste, we must choose the best reinforcement possible."
"We have no choice. If no one can use any ability within that barrier, only one person comes to mind."
"You don't mean…"
"Yes, Kyouka. Gleren might yell at me later, but let us have that person come to the academy!"
Kyouka unintentionally swallowed her saliva as I grinned at her. This girl is obsessed with Gleren. She may deny it, but her actions cannot. She knew of Gleren ever since we found him and adopted him here in Yamada state. And because of her obsession with him, she knew all his past, all his strength, weakness, and his fears. And the person we have in mind is someone Gleren feared.
"Go, Kyouka! Have that person know the circumstances. That person is the most suitable back up at a time like this!"
"Yes, sir!"
Kyouka left in a hurry. I'm really sorry, Gleren, but this is the only way—hehe, to save the whole academy.
Just thinking about what face Gleren would make makes me so happ—I mean makes me feel bad. Ahh, I want to see his reaction!
But even so, a barrier which seals the ability, eh? If the countries that are after the resources of Saint Stella hear of these, this might turn into something really troublesome. However, no matter the case with that person going to the academy, the reinforcement crisis is now solved.
Please my beloved students, protect our academy, our home at all cost!
