There is a multitude of different universes out there, each even more unique and interesting than the last, and there are still many, many universes out there that have yet to have been explored.
However, in this one, where everything seems completely normal and in the ordinary, a single person's death, resulted in the destruction, or maybe even the birth of many universes and thousands of different worlds entirely.
In an infinite multiverse, one person, will rise above all, and change the multiverse itself, forever.
This is the rise of the man named Ethan Lewis, or, otherwise known as, the 'Endless Chaos', who will show all who goes against him how a simple nobody, can become everything that there ever was and ever will be.
Ethan Lewis, who was officially proclaimed dead after unfortunately being murdered mysteriously, had his body disappear into thin air.
He was coming back to his home from working overtime as a cashier, who was paid almost nothing, and he was super exhausted and wasn't focused on anything else other than getting home.
Those few things, combined with the fact that no-one else was visible around him, could also account for some of the reasons of why he was struck by a foreign object that directly hit the back of his head, and he wasn't able to see who did it before he passed out.
He had eventually died from blood loss, and during in his final dying moments, he had a lingering feeling in his mind that secretly told him it was all his fault that he had lived such a miserable life.
As he laid there, he sighed, and whispered to himself, "If only I tried just a little bit harder.. my life could've been different.. I probably could've been rich, if only I had just made the right choices."
He felt his life flash before his eyes.
"I.. I wish.. that I had the opportunity to change my life.. for the better.." His body went limp a few moments afterwards, it was clear that he had died, in a pathetic, pitiful state at that.
Dying at twenty-five.. how misfortunate he was.
However, as he died, something very, very strange occurred.. something that changed his fate forever.
"…"
"Huh?!? My voice..!?" He jolted awake suddenly, but it turned out that he was in a place that was unfamiliar to him.
"Wait.. huh..? Is this place the afterlife?" He said, hearing his own voice was unfamiliar to him, "What's going on? I can't move and everything's dark, I can't even think properly."
To him, this felt extremely odd, however it was also felt like this wasn't exactly a dream.
Even though he tried his very best to move, no matter what, he couldn't do anything.
"No.. no..! This.. is this how it's going to be?! Even once I've died, I still have to suffer.."
to think that even after his death, he was going be trapped here in this strange, warped space seemingly forever.
"I.. I don't know how I got here.. but I don't think I'm supposed to be here at all."
This place was not somewhere you would go after dying, so the only other conclusion he could come to was that he was definitely here in this place for a reason.
After a while, he soon heard a few words. Although he couldn't decipher the meaning behind those words, he knew that somehow, that strange voice was definitely related all of this, and he was sure that he would find out who it truly was.
Suddenly, the strange space he was in, which was devoid of all light, started to change and warp itself, and he could feel himself being distorted and twisted alongside it.
"What the..!?"
Just then, everything went black.
After a while, Ethan had finally awoken, and he found himself lying on the cold, smooth, shiny metal floor, of what seemed to be a large laboratory room.
"Huh..?" He looked around the room utterly confused, "Just what's going on? I though that I had died, but it turns out that.. I'm hallucinating or something..?"
"..I need to think about my situation more carefully, why would I end up here if I died? This doesn't seem like what actually dying would feel like, or look like, for that matter…"
"Hm.. the other possible conclusion is.. I somehow gained another chance at life.."
From what he could see, he guessed that he was in a lab of some sort, and for some reason, everything was completely dark, it was like the lights were completely shut off.
Plus, there was also the horrible stench of blood in the air..
He heard a loud piercing sound through his ears, that felt like it was so loud that it would burst his eardrums.
"What the..? what was that sound?"
"Just what is going on.. and what was that strange noise..? I might need to go and investigate, just in case." He got up from the floor and looked around.
He saw lab equipment and mechanical parts lying all around the place, and oddly enough, he could tell that this place had technology that was way more sophisticated and way more advanced than Earth's technology.
He could tell even though he had only awakened here very recently.
"I need to figure out where I am right now, if it's true that I've gained a second chance at life, then.." He whispered, "I shouldn't get my hopes up, I just need to figure out where I am first."
After he left the room, he walked onwards, and began to notice that all the doors of these rooms were stained in some kind of strange purplish blood, just what happened here for something like this to occur?
"There's an awful amount of suspense in the air, there might be someone or something else in here with me as well, so I'll need to be even more cautious of my surroundings."
He walked further and further, investigating all the rooms he could find, but still, he found nothing.
"I'm still wondering, just what was that sound from earlier?" He said, "I get chills every time I think about it.. I really need to stay careful from now on."
After exploring tens upon tens of rooms, and each one the same as the last, laboratories built just for experiments, and he soon discovered a room that gave him a very ominous feeling when he looked at the door for the first time.
He opened it ever so slightly and tried to see if anything that might put him in danger was there.
Fortunately for him, nothing was there, except for something peculiar indeed..
What was actually there though, was..
"What the.. what is that?" He took a few more steps into the room to see it, and it looked even more magnificent.
There was a strange, glowing bluish light, that was encased in some kind of reinforced glass tank, which was also right in the center of the room, it was alike to the strange powerful light that he saw when he died for the first time, it also gave off the same type of 'aura'.
Just then, he heard the strange piercing noise for the second time, he was sure that it came from inside his head somehow.
"Urgh.. why do I keep on hearing this sound, no, what even is it in the first place..? Has something been implanted in my brain or something…??"
He felt an odd sensation crawling all around his body, and, in a split second, all kinds of knowledge and information starting to enter his mind, and he felt an enormous amount of pain.
Things about cosmic beings, universes, and many other things, to him, it was like he was in some sort of Sci-fi movie.
he couldn't even imagine what kind of adventures he'd be able to have here, but at the same time, he was also scared, terrified, in fact, because of the unknown dangers that awaited him.
"Woah.. I've always tried to imagine what it would feel like being in one those kind of sci-fi movies.. and now.. I can actually live out a space fantasy." He grinned to himself.
"But still, I need to focus on what's happened right now," He said, "All this new information about this supposed 'new universe' I'm in.. I'll put it to good use."
He noticed that the strange, glowing light inside the glass tank had disappeared, but his didn't pay attention to that for now.
"It seems like I've actually gained a new chance at life, I won't screw this up!"
