Ethan was walked by guards across a long hallway, where there was many doors leading to many other cells just like his.
Then, they finally made it to an elevator.
"It's best if you be on your guard, who knows what you'll experience here.."
"…"
They made it to a door which had the number 0001 on it and Ethan was forced to go inside.
"Woah.." Despite him trying his best to remain indifferent to everything around him in an attempt to seem intimidating and fearless, and also to try to not react too much at what they were going to do to him, but he couldn't contain his shock at what he saw.
In the room, there were huge metal tanks, and each of them had a glass window that you could peer into, and he saw human bodies floating in a mysterious, greenish-yellow fluid.
They all had stitches around their entire bodies, and little to no body hair, they all also had grey hair and yellowish eyes.
It was as if they were all artificially made.
"Is that what they're gonna do to me..?!" He whispered, and he was led to a metal table, where there was what seemed like scientists of the sort, and was told to lie on it.
"Be warned. This is going to hurt quite a bit." They sneered, and they injected something in him, and he went limp soon after.
He found himself in the strange, white void from before, but this time..
"..I'm in this place again." He slowly looked around himself, trying to figure out the entire meaning of this place.
"Wait.. is that..?"
He saw the silhouette of someone, someone who was quite a distance away, and it turned towards him.
"…Find your way through this world, Creation born of the Unending Sea."
In an instant, everything around him seemed to warp, and he found himself staring at the world, which was not Earth, but one that was completely different, and world that was utterly and completely decimated.
"This place.. what is this place?!" He said in shock and horror.
"It is the future of the world you are in right now." A voice whispered in his ear, he knew it wasn't the Celestial fragment, as it felt far more menacing than before.
"You will be powerless to stop it, as will the inhabitants of this planet."
"The Forlorn King is a 'king' that rules over the domain of the Cursed Slaves, otherwise known as the Diseased Disciples."
"The domain of the Evil King is known by you humans as 'X1-612', an already ruined planet that's close to this one."
"For you to free this world, you must kill him, and free this world from its shackles, or else, something far catastrophic than you could imagine could happen."
"So this is the future of this planet.. if I don't step in and try to defend it?" He said, "Why me? I'm sure that there's far stronger people on this planet."
"No-one on this planet, or even in the entire galaxy, has the power to absorb a Celestial fragment like you, which is exactly the reason why you're going to be very busy, especially after you leave this planet."
"So, it's up to me to save this planet.." He said, "I just have one question though, how do you know this? No, actually, who are you?"
"I am, what you would call, a Worshipper of Divinity, a being that serves the Eye of the Universe." They said, "We will see each other once again, and when we finally meet, we'll have all the time to properly introduce ourselves."
Not long after that, he awoke, and he found him surrounded by armoured personnel, who all carried strange guns.
"What the..!" After they all knew he was awake, they began to point their guns at him.
"You sure he's the one?" Someone cleared the way and walked towards Ethan, it seems that he was someone of great importance, a scientist of some kind.
"Yep, we're sure, he's definitely one of the Disciples of Disease and Filth." One of them said, at once he realised that the reason that they were performing these 'experiments' were related to those Diseased Disciples.
"What..!? I'm not-" He tried to explain to them that he wasn't, but they didn't even bother to listen to him, he was clearly a human, so why were they suspecting him?
"Dispose of him. Send him to the Dungeon." He ordered, and he walked away, with most of the heavily armoured soldiers following after him, what could they have seem to suspect him so greatly of being one of the Disciples of Evil?
"We must report this to Interstellar Space Corporation at once, the Diseased Disciples have infested this planet far too much, to the point where it's beyond our control."
The rest of them led Ethan to an unknown place deep within the facility, a place where even the most mightiest of warriors couldn't survive.
"This place is.." He was thrown into a very, very large and spacious room, almost as big as a three-storey house, the walls were made out of some type of strange metallic material, and there was some type of rift in this room as well, that emitted a purplish aura and fishy smell from within.
"A sub-space dimension that we've successfully created. It allows us to freely place anything that we don't want others to see out of the eyes of those who 'disagree' with us." A voice called out, it must've been the man who carried around an aura of great importance around him everywhere he went.
"Disagree?"
From inside the rift, at once, something started to emerge, startling Ethan.
It was some kind of humanoid creature that heavily resembled a muscular human with long hair, but it had completely blank eyes, and its skin was a purplish-green colour, and it also had stitches around its entire body.
"Ethan..!" The Celestial fragment said in surprise, "That's definitely one of the humans you saw in those strange tanks earlier."
"Were they performing these tests so that they could create such beasts in a closed environment?"
"It seems so.." The Celestial fragment replied, soon after, the humanoid creature's body began to twist and warp itself, and it turned into the form of a dragon, which was entirely made out of humanoid flesh.
"Then, I don't think I can allow this to continue any longer." He approached the creature, and tried his best to not feel intimidated.
"I don't know why they're doing this, or why they've started to suspect me even though I've done nothing, but I will get to the bottom of this. No matter what."
