Seraphina immediately looked at Anastasia as the words slipped her mouth.
She just revealed the fact that she was observing Seraphina throughout the night. And it made Seraphina feel exposed for some reason. Although she knew that this lady just got her eyes on her, still—being seen from someone when you were supposed to stay low-key in the palace made things a bit difficult for her.
"Whatever did you mean, Lady Anastasia?" she questioned. Her eyes were filled with curiosity, yet still she maintained her posture.
Lady Anastasia in return looked at Seraphina.
Seraphina could feel her burning gaze on her, judging her from her head to her toes. But Sera knew better than to flinch.
"What I meant is that…" Lady Anastasia took a huge breath in and walked behind Seraphina. "I have simply been watching you ever since you walked inside."
