Sea Of Destruction which he was waiting for three years was about to release. The whole world was buying and mass producing gaming systems to accommodate for the amount of players that were gonna partake in the game. The developers have released gameplay showcasing some races such as Elves, Dwarves, Humans, the basic starting classes but everyone knew there was way more to look forward to in this game. Not only did it showcase these races but they all knew after some leaks of development that there was gameplay as monsters such as Goblins, Skeletons, and Ghouls. The cool thing about the monster classes is that they have way more evolutions. That's how they essentially gain their power unlike the Humans and Elves. The humans and elves are also known to have evolutions but they don't have as much as monsters do. Ceh was hoping to be able to become some sort of angel and rise to the top through his righteousness.

When the clock hit zero the system made an announcement.
Earth is Evolving....
"What does it mean Earth?" Ceh was confused at the systems announcement.
Commencing the Sea Of Destruction....
In a state of panic, Ceh hastily tore off his virtual reality headset, his heart pounding with fear and disbelief. As he did, his eyes widened in horror at the sight that unfolded before him. Earth, once familiar and vibrant, now took on a menacing shade of crimson, its temperature escalating with each passing moment. His gaze instinctively turned skyward, only to be met with a harrowing vision—a colossal meteorite hurtling toward their fragile planet.
"AHHHHH!" Ceh's scream echoed through the streets, joining the chorus of terrified voices that filled the air. Panic gripped the world as the impending doom loomed ever closer. Time seemed to stand still, every breath held in suspense, until the inevitable cataclysm struck with unimaginable force.
In an instant, an overwhelming surge of scorching heat engulfed Earth, obliterating everything in its path. The world as they knew it was mercilessly swept away, replaced by a desolate aftermath of devastation and chaos.
Sea Of Destruction... 100%
Generating Race..... Goblin
Generating Class..... Mauler
Generating Name..... Geh
Everything turned white for a split second and then Geh saw a huge cave that he was in. There were torches lining up the cave and he sees others just like him all around him.
"Where am I, what just happened." Everyone around him wore similar looks on their faces. Nobody knew what was happening.
Sea Of Destruction..... 100% complete, Race Objective: Rule the world and kill every race to return to Earth Safely. You have one life so use it wisely.
When the holographic system vanished, pandemonium erupted among the goblins. Chaos reigned as they flailed about, disoriented and uncertain of what had just transpired. The air crackled with confusion until a resounding boom cut through the clamor, drawing every gaze toward its source. Standing tall at the center of attention was a figure that commanded awe and reverence—a very old goblin with a regal aura and a long, flowing white beard that cascaded down to the ground.
His presence alone was enough to still the frenzied crowd, and the goblins' cheers transformed into hushed whispers of awe. The arena trembled under the weight of their anticipation. Every eye in the pit was fixed upon the aged figure, their collective gaze a testament to the respect they held for their Goblin Overlord.
With a single mighty slam of his staff, the old goblin cast a spellbinding silence over the entire throng. The deafening roar abruptly dissipated, replaced by an eerie calm that settled upon the arena like a heavy mist. The goblins, united in their attention, awaited the words of their venerable leader.
"My name is Gomba, the Goblin Overlord," he began, his voice booming across the arena. "I will make this short, for time is of the essence. You are the champions of our race, destined to bring us victory and rule this world. We have long awaited your arrival, and as you can see, we are ecstatic to finally witness it."
Gomba paused, letting the cheers of the goblin crowd subside before continuing. "But there is more to this than a mere game. The fate of Earth itself is intertwined with our endeavors here. You see, when the clock struck zero and the Sea of Destruction was unleashed upon our world, it marked the end of life as we knew it."
Geh listened intently, his confusion slowly transforming into a glimmer of understanding. The old goblin continued, his voice grave and solemn. "Through the cataclysm that befell Earth, you were granted a chance—a chance to fight for your survival in the virtual realm. This game, the Sea of Destruction, serves as your only lifeline, a way for your race to endure."
Gomba's eyes scanned the assembled goblins, their gazes fixed upon him with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. "But let me be clear: this is not a mere game where you can respawn at will. Your lives here hold real consequences. Should you fall in battle, you will perish not only in the game but in reality as well. Death will be final, and the hopes of our race will rest upon those who remain."
A wave of murmurs rippled through the crowd, a somber realization settling upon them. Geh felt a shiver run down his spine as he absorbed the weight of Gomba's words. This was no ordinary quest; their lives and the fate of their world were inextricably linked.
Gomba's voice carried with a renewed strength, cutting through the tension. "Therefore, my champions, it is imperative that you band together and fight as one. You must form groups of seven and venture forth into this treacherous realm. Survive, conquer, and bring us victory, for it is only through triumph that we may reclaim Earth and ensure our race's survival."
With a swift motion, Gomba raised his staff and the noise of the crowd subsided, their attention refocused on their leader. "Now, if you hear your name, gather here, and once your group has assembled, proceed through the portal. Remember, you are bound to this game, and failure is not an option."
Geh and his companions exchanged glances, a mixture of determination and apprehension etched on their faces. They understood the gravity of their mission, the interplay between the game and the real world. It was a daunting responsibility, but they were ready to embrace it. They knew that their journey would be fraught with challenges, but they had no choice but to face them head-on.
"Googh, Gurf, Gews, Ginber, Gihi, Gope, Gogoul." As the group of seven walked up the old man slammed his staff and a portal opened. The group of seven also got a weapon to begin with. The old man spoke again. "Your class has specific loot and weapons in the game so there is no need to fight for loot in dungeons. You will not be able to change your weapon even if you level up and you cannot kill other Goblins as we are fighting over 1000 different races to survive. You will not be able to trade weapons and loot with other goblins as well so be prepared to grind and level with your team."
After that the group of seven walked through the portal to begin their journey, then the Goblin Overlord Gomba kept saying random names and it was a rinse and repeat until the last group.
"for the last and final group "Geh, Geeler, Gyler, Glores, Gingh, Geoni, and Giller." As they stepped forward, their names called one by one, they made a silent pact—to fight together, to survive, and to emerge victorious. The weight of their existence, their connection to Earth, propelled them forward into the unknown, their destiny intertwined with the fate of their race. They all walked forward to receive their weapons for their specified class. After receiving their weapons they walked through the portal. After a blinding light was shown as walking in they were surrounded by a luscious green field. A system announcement popped up.
World Announcement: All races have been sorted into teams and the game will now begin. Remember you will have one life so don't recklessly die as the only way you will live is if your race becomes the Overlord Race.
After the announcement was concluded Geoni said "Well look at that not only can we not die but we have to beat this damn game with a fucking goblin race."
"HAHAHA you didn't want to become a goblin? When I was waiting for this game I was striving to become a goblin, I couldn't be any happier." A goblin said who was in the back. Everyone turned around to see his name was Giller and he was wielding a shield.
"Lets just go around and say our class and specialty weapon so we don't waste any loot that we get. I will start I'm a Brawler and my weapon is Gauntlets. " A very tall and muscular looking goblin said. His name was Gingh and if there was one thing that stood out from him it would be his excessively large nose. He was also the tallest out of them all.
"It looks like I'm an Archer and my Weapon is the Bow." A skinnier goblin said. His name was Gyler, He was not short nor tall just an averaged sized goblin.
"Im a Cleric and my weapon is an Orb.... ug." A longer haired goblin said that was way better looking than the rest. Her name was Geeler and she was the same height or taller than most of the others on the team.
"Class Assassin Weapon Daggers." Geoni said. He was shorter than the other but still taller the Gyler. He was very toned and you can tell if they got into a battle with each other that he may come out on top just from the aura that he gives off.
"Alright I guess it's my turn, Im a Mauler and my weapon is a Club." This was Geh and the designated team leader that the system gave to the party. He was very fit with but didn't give a evil aura like Geoni.
"Im not gonna lie to you guys I just want to head into battle hahaha, my class is Necromancer and my weapon is a Scythe." His name was Glores, Death was looming all around this goblin as he spoke, he was very fit like the rest but just didn't have much hair compared to the others.
"I guess I'm the last one my class is Fortress and my weapon is a shield." Giller states, this goblin was very fat and looked like he wouldn't be able to move too nimbly around the battlefield.
Party Mission: Clear a Ghoul dungeon to decrease your competition.
System Rewards: LVL +1
"Oh so we get missions through the system to increase our level." Gyler said.
"Who cares about leveling up when we can take down our competition right away." Glores said while looking at the point of interest on his in-game map.
"Hey you guys realize we have skills and such in our menus as well? Oh look at that we also have stats and we can share our info with everyone in the party." Geh saw while scrolling through the menu. Not only was there skills and stats but there was also an equipment area in the character preview of the menu. There was one locked portion that only unlocked as the character level progressed. It looked like a tree just like the skills but it was locked by lvl requirements and there was three webs at each level interval. The first level requirement was lvl five.
"Oh ho ho this class looks like it was built just for me, let me share my stats with everyone before we venture out." Giller the bigger looking goblin said as he's scrolling through his class.
"Ya I bet it fits you, the fattest motherfucker here also gets the tank class. It seems you will fit the role perfectly." Geoni said while giving Giller a death stare.
"What you got a problem with someone being big, bros worked out everyday of his life and has probably only eaten fucking veggies. Learn how to live dipshit." Giller retaliated back.
Gingh steps in-between the two and says "Alright guys calm down this isn't the time nor place, we should be focusing on leveling up and surviving this hell hole. Hurry up and share your character sheets so we know what we are working with." As soon as he finishes his sentence everyone sees multiple popups in the sky with each having a name specified to the character sheet.

"Alright, everyone, let's focus on our objectives," Geh says, rallying the group. "Our first mission is to clear the Ghoul dungeon to decrease our competition. We need to prove ourselves and gain experience."
The group sets out to the marked location on their map. As the group ventures towards the Ghoul dungeon, they encounter eerie surroundings and the scent of decay fills the air. The entrance to the dungeon is a foreboding gate adorned with ominous symbols. As they approach, Geh takes the lead and addresses the team.
"Stay sharp, everyone. The Ghouls inside won't go down without a fight. Geoni, use your stealth to scout ahead and gather information about the dungeon layout. Gyler, be ready to provide ranged support. Geeler, keep us healed and protected. Glores, your necromantic powers might come in handy here. Gingh, let's rely on your brawling skills for close combat. Giller, fortify our defense and be our shield."
