It was already late by the time Xavier returned from the assembly. Those old men were always noisy, one who bickers over even about the needle in the haystack. Xavier stepped down from his carriage pressing his temples.
As he was about to walk towards Agatha's bedchamber when Reginald informed him about Agatha's sudden shift of room. Xavier's brow frowned at the news.
"Where is she now?" Xavier inquired.
At first, Reginald hesitated but seeing Xavier's cold stare, he blurted out. Xavier nodded asking them to leave. Xavier walked down the stairs to her new bedchamber.
There was stillness around it. Agatha must have already felt asleep, he tried to unlock the door but it was locked from inside. His usual calm demeanor was gone, as he struggled to enter.
