Chapter 26 - Dungeon Imprisonment

Artemis and Apollo sat in the dark and damp dungeon, their arms bound with heavy chains. The room was small, barely enough space for them to move around, and the walls were rough stone. The only light came from a small crack in the ceiling, which let in a dim glow from the moon outside.

Artemis glared at Helios' name carved into the stone above the door. "I cannot believe we allowed ourselves to be captured by that arrogant fool," she spat.

Apollo shifted in his chains, wincing at the discomfort. "We were caught off guard," he replied. "He had the element of surprise on his side."

"We should never have let it come to this," Artemis growled. "He has always been a thorn in our sides, and now he has the upper hand."

Apollo sighed. "I know, sister. But we cannot let our pride blind us. We need to find a way out of here and deal with Helios in a more strategic manner."

Artemis scoffed. "I have no intention of making any deals with that treacherous god. We will find a way out of here on our own. And after that you will pay for what you did wrong in the past."

„You are still mad about me," Apollo asked her innocently.

Apollo glared at her. "I don't want to talk about it. You know how I feel."

Artemis sighed. "I know, but we can't stay like this forever. We were once the closest of siblings. We need to find a way to move past this."

Apollo shook his head. "I can't forgive you for what you did. You betrayed me."

Artemis looked down at the ground. "I had no choice. You were going to destroy everything. I had to stop you."

Apollo sneered. "You always thought you were better than me. You couldn't stand to see me succeed."

Artemis stood up, her voice rising in anger. "That's not true! I did what I had to do to protect our world. You were blinded by your own ambition!"

Apollo struggled against his chains, his face red with fury. "You have no right to judge me. You are no better than me."

As they spoke, the sound of approaching footsteps echoed through the dungeon. Artemis and Apollo fell silent, listening intently as the steps grew louder.

"Someone is coming," Apollo whispered, his eyes darting to the door.

Artemis tensed, ready for whatever may come. They were gods, after all, and they would not let themselves be defeated so easily.

The door creaked open, and a figure stepped inside. It was Admiral Bellerophon from the PP Corps, one of the greatest warriors Artemis had ever known. He stood tall and imposing, with broad shoulders and chiseled features. His armor glinted in the dim light of the dungeon, and his sword was strapped to his side.

"Well, well, well," he said, his voice booming. "What do we have here? The great Artemis and Apollo, chained up like common criminals."

Artemis recognized him immediately and couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness. She remembered Bellerophon as a good man, a warrior who fought for justice and honor. But now, he was standing before them as an enemy.

"What do you want, Bellerophon?" she asked, her voice cold.

"I have a message from my superiors," he replied, his expression serious. "You have one chance to surrender and renounce your claims to the throne. If you do not, you will be executed."

Artemis and Apollo exchanged a look, their determination unbroken. They would never give up their rightful place as rulers of the gods.

"We will never surrender," Apollo said, his voice ringing with defiance.

Bellerophon sighed, his gaze flickering between the two gods. "I had hoped it wouldn't come to this. But I have my orders."

As he turned to leave, he paused at the doorway. "Oh, and one more thing. We have a madman on the loose, attacking our troops alone. But he's about to learn the power of the five Admirals. I'm on my way to deal with him now."

With that, he disappeared from sight, leaving Artemis and Apollo alone once again in the cold, grim dungeon.

Bellerophon left the dungeon and made his way up the tower. It was a long climb, and he could feel the weight of his armor with every step. He could hear the clanking of his boots on the stone stairs and the sound of his breath echoing in the empty tower.

As he reached the top floor, he commanded his troops to get ready. They were here to catch the maniac and rescue the Admirals. He had received word that the battle was not going well, and the maniac was proving to be a formidable opponent.

The troops scrambled into formation, preparing their weapons and spells. Bellerophon looked out over the battlefield from the tower, watching the chaos unfold below.

As Admiral Bellerophon left the tower, he sent a message through the spirit realm to Helios, letting him know that they would handle the situation with the maniac on their own.

He knew that the maniac was dangerous, but he was confident in the abilities of the PP Corps. They had faced many challenges before and always emerged victorious.

Bellerophon's troops were already waiting outside the tower, ready to move out and catch the maniac. They had received word that the situation was dire and that the maniac was causing significant damage.

As they made their way through the fortress, Bellerophon gave orders to his troops, preparing them for what was to come. They would have to work together and use all of their skills if they were to catch the maniac and prevent any more destruction.
