Chapter 28 - PP Corps

The battle was now more chaotic than ever before. I was no longer just fighting against three Admirals, but now four powerful commanders were joining the fight. Their synchronization was flawless, and they attacked me relentlessly, leaving me with no room for counterattacks.

But I refused to back down. I held my ground and fought defensively, carefully blocking each strike they threw at me. My movements were precise, and my reflexes were lightning-fast. The dark aura around me grew stronger with each passing moment.

The clash of weapons echoed throughout the room as the four Commanders charged towards me. Their weapons were all unique, but equally as deadly. Alastor wielded a dark sword that seemed to be made of pure energy, Crius had transformed into a giant mecha golem, Chrysaor's katana glinted dangerously in the dim light, and Aello's ice spear sparkled like diamonds.

I moved swiftly, dodging their attacks and parrying when necessary. The Commander's movements were in perfect synchronisation, making it difficult for me to find an opening. They were not giving me any chance to breathe, relentlessly attacking me one after another.

Alastor was the first to strike, his sword moving at the speed of light. I blocked it with my sword, but the force of the blow was so powerful that it sent me reeling. Crius followed up with a punch that sent me flying across the room. I landed on my feet, but before I could even regain my balance, Chrysaor launched a flurry of attacks that I could barely keep up with.

As the fight continued, my thoughts became a blur. All I could focus on was surviving and finding a way to strike back. The aura around me grew darker and more intense, amplifying my strength and speed.

Aello summoned water spirits that attacked me relentlessly, forcing me to dodge and weave through them. Crius's golem form was nearly impossible to damage, and Chrysaor's speed and agility were unmatched. Alastor's sword was like a black hole, drawing me in and threatening to swallow me whole.

Despite their coordinated efforts, I refused to back down. I was determined to break through their defence and emerge victorious. Our weapons clashed, the sound ringing throughout the room, as we fought with everything we had.

As the battle raged on, my focus was solely on the four Admirals in front of me. I was holding my own against their coordinated attacks, but I knew I couldn't let my guard down for even a second. And then, out of nowhere, a fifth figure appeared behind me.

I turned around just in time to see Admiral Bellerophon, a look of fury on his face, coming straight for me. Before I could react, his sword sliced through my knee, sending a sharp pain coursing through my body. I stumbled back, trying to regain my balance, but Bellerophon wasn't finished yet.

With a swift movement, he cut a deep scratch into my back, causing me to grit my teeth in agony. I could feel my anger rising, fueling my determination to take him down.

"You're late," one of the other Admirals sneered at Bellerophon as they watched the fight unfold.

"I had to make sure the job was done right," Bellerophon replied coldly.

I could feel my rage building up inside of me, and I knew I had to act fast. I charged at Bellerophon, catching him off guard, and threw him into the nearby railing. As Aello and Chrysaor retreated to tend to their wounds, Crius remained behind, still in his golem form, to fight alongside Alastor against me.

But something had changed within me. As my eyes turned black and my aura grew more ominous, I felt as though I had transcended into an unstoppable force. The Admirals, who had never shown fear before, now quivered in their boots.

"Something's different about him," Alastor said to the others, his voice tinged with fear. "He's like an almighty monster...emotionless, invincible. Be careful all of YOU."

But he was not fast enough. I blocked the attack of Alastor who was aiming for my neck easily and rotated my whole body into the opposite direction. Using the momentum and extra power I got, I cut off Crius's arm with ease, and Alastor barely managed to escape back into formation with the wounded Admirals. As I stood there, surrounded by a swirling black fog, I realized that my emotions and my former self were gone. I had transformed into something else entirely.

The world around me turned black as my aura grew more toxic. The fog that surrounded me was thick and suffocating. I let out a war cry that shook the entire bridge, causing it to fracture and collapse. My whole body was covered with black tattoos, each one representing the power I had gained.

Aello managed to shield the Admirals from the impact of the collapsing bridge, and as they disappeared, I stood alone on the battlefield. My mind was empty, and all I could feel was a hunger for more power. It was as if I had become a different person, someone who only wanted to destroy everything in their path.

I looked around at the ruins of the bridge, realizing what I had done. I had let my anger and thirst for power take over, and it had caused destruction on a massive scale. The realization hit me hard, and for a moment, I felt a sense of shame and guilt.

But the feeling was quickly replaced by the desire for more power.

I stood there, my body covered in a black tattoo, my power unleashed in its true form. This was the power that Thanatos used to break my seal, the power that I had hidden away for so long. And now, it was out, and it felt almost grateful to be free.

The fog around me was toxic, the surroundings turning completely black. My war cry was so loud that it caused the bridge to fracture and collapse. The Admirals were shielded by Aello, and as I searched for them, I found no trace. They had vanished, disappeared into thin air.

I couldn't let my guard down. I knew they were still out there, waiting for another surprise attack. But in that moment, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the power I possessed. It was terrifying and exhilarating all at once.

I knew I had to be careful with this power, though. It was not something to be taken lightly. But for now, I was glad to have it on my side.
