As I made my way towards the bridge, the sound of clanking metal and shuffling feet grew louder. I could see the glint of armor and the tips of arrows peeking over the edge of the bridge. The elite army guarding the bridge was a formidable sight to behold. Each tank was equipped with massive cannons, ready to fire at any moment. The archers were perched on the edge of the bridge, their bows at the ready. And the warriors were standing in formation, their swords and spears gleaming in the sunlight.
The bridge itself was old and weathered, with cracks and chips in the stone surface. The ropes that held the bridge in place creaked and groaned under the weight of the army. The river below was a deep and rapid current, the water crashing against the rocks below.
The general leading the army stood out from the rest, his armor polished to a mirror shine. He had a stern look on his face, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of threat. It was clear that he was not to be underestimated.
I took a deep breath, readying myself for what was to come. It was time to take down this army and continue on my mission.
As I charged forward with a fierce war cry, I could feel the power coursing through my body. The wind was picking up, and a storm was brewing overhead. As I got closer to the bridge, I noticed the tanks, archers, and warriors staring at me with fear and apprehension.
I stomped on the ground with all my might, unleashing a massive explosion that sent the archers tumbling off the bridge and into the rapids below. The warriors and tanks remained unfazed, but I quickly spotted my advantage. The ropes that held the bridge in place were perfect for me to slide on, and I leapt onto them with agility and grace.
The warriors lunged at me with their swords and spears, but I deftly dodged their attacks and countered with deadly precision. The tanks were a bit more difficult, but I used my power to rip off their cannons and smash them to pieces. The storm overhead grew stronger as I continued to pick off the enemy one by one.
As the last of the warriors fell, the general stepped forward, his armor shining in the lightning's flash. He raised his sword and charged at me, but I was too fast for him. I dashed forward, and with a quick snap of my fingers, I shattered his armor and crushed him like a twig.
As I stood amidst the corpses, my heart beating rapidly, I fixed my white hair with a cold expression on my face.
This was to easy. Such small fries, could not lay a finger on me. Only creatures on par with a gods strength could harm me. Like Hades did. My mood went suddenly the down. The humiliation. I could not forget about it.
But there was no excuse. Hades played with me like a toy and crushed me.
As I sat there on the corpses, I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm wash over me. The battle had been won, and I had emerged victorious. It was then that a messenger approached me.
„You have done enough. It's time to stop now or the PP Corps will eradicate you. I come as a Messenger and warn you to take one more step," he yelled at me fiddling around his fist.
„Haha. What's that for a name, PP Corps. Dare to stop me if you can," I said trying to stop my laughter.
I had never heard of this organization before, but it didn't matter. I was idle and secure in my victory, and I knew that nothing could stop me.
But I didn't care about his threats. I had already broken countless rules and defied countless authorities in my quest for power. What was one more?
Without a moment's hesitation, I lashed out and killed the messenger, his blood staining the ground beneath us. I knew that this act would only bring more enemies to my doorstep, but I didn't care. I was ready for whatever came next, and I would crush anyone who dared to stand in my way.
He dared to anger me. So he died. I took his body and threw it towards the main facilities of the fortress. They deserved a foretaste of what was waiting for them.
I had no plan of looking and waited for them at the bridge. The weather was still horrible.
Clouds, storm and Wind.
I moved towards the railing and climbed it up. I had a suspicion. And I was right. Only the area around the bridge was stormy. The sun was clear on every other area of the fortress.
Someone was controlling the weather, but not intervening directly.
I had no clue what he was waiting.
„Come out, Wind Spirit," I yelled to the sky. But there was no response.
If he or they would not come out, I would play along there game. So I waited there for my opponent to come. I could not take the risk to head towards Artemis and Helios before taking down treats.
I slides downwards with the ropes and started preparing for emergency. Pillar to pillar I did the same thing. A simple punch with 20 percent pressure.
After I finished, I relaxed on the corpses and started polishing my blade.
