Then suddenly an idea popped into her head. If she could wake her brother, then definitely he will tell us all that he knew. Right?.
"Can I go into the cell?" She asked Celestial who looked quite unsure about the answer to give her.
After giving it some serious thought, Celestial replied"Well..I think it's safe now that the spell is gone."
Celestial opened the cell and stood at the entranced in full alert. Ready for any 'Accidents' that will cost her life. If anything happened to Lisa, Celestial was sure that Lucas would not only kill her, but torture her until she begs for death.
Taking that as a sign of approval, Lisa approached her brother with the intention to wake him up as he was currently deep in his sleep. Slowly but carefully, Lisa tapped his shoulders but quickly jerked back when she felt something dark flash through her eyes.
"Are you alright?" Celestial asked and Lisa nodded.
"I'm g-good." Though, was she really alright?.
Knowing that something was wrong, she bent down and bravely picked her brother's hand in hers.
She just thought of something and she had to test it out.
Holding his hands for a few minutes nothing happened and she wanted to pull back but immediately, she heard voices and when she zoned in, she quickly dropped her brother's hands and covered her mouth in shock as she stared at him in pure horror.
"What did you see?." She turned to her side to see Lucas who was also squatted beside her brother. Should she be surprised at him already knowing?.
"I saw a lot..."
***
A hooded figure walked stealthy across a lonely and abandoned alley that reeked of death and suspicion, making her way to another person in a hood.
"You're late." The other figure stated in a croaked voice.
Removing her hood, a beautiful face with green eyes shone in the moonlight.
"It's not easy to sneak out of the castle you know" She responded rolling her sparkling emerald eyes.
"Do you have the information?." The figure asked, ignoring her last statement.
"Yeah about that... I quit." She said blandly.
"You cannot do that, the master will kill you." The hooded person tried to convince her but she already had her mind made up.
"Please, you have to help me, I can't do this anymore. The guilt is eating me up."
"Okay." The figure said and disappeared from there.
And on cue, Carmillia quickly left without realising there was a third shadow that witnessed thier conversation.
"This is interesting.." The person mused and disappeared.
Back in the castle, Carmillia acted like any normal maid and picked a random window to clean until she heard someone's voice that froze her completely.
"Carmillia is it?." Carmillia swirled her head in the direction of the voice and spotted Lucas looking straight at her with icy blue eyes.
"Y-yes your Highness." She felt an uneasy feeling brewing at the pit of her stomach and she gulped softly.
"A maid that doesn't know how to bow." He chuckled and Carmillia immediately bowed her head."It was wise of you to drop that job, if not.." His tone dripped of danger and it alarmed her." If not, you won't be standing right now with your head intact."
'Did he know?.' She thought dreadfully.
'No he didn't, he can't.' She tried reassuring herself but all that went down the drain when she heard the next words he said.
"I know who you are but don't worry, I won't tell Theo. You will tell him yourself." As he said that, all the blood drained from her face and she became as pale as a paper. Could he be lying?. But he didn't look like someone that will do that.
"From now on, you are my little deer's personal maid." He said with a tone of finality and left a shocked Carmillia who stood flabbergasted in her spot.
Finally recovering from the shock, she lifted her head and sorrowfully walked away.
"Oh God, I hate my life!" She groaned and glared at everything around her. Why couldn't she just live life peacefully and wait for her death like any normal person. Who didn't want to die!?.
Going to the place where she normally danced freely, she took a deep breath to feel the calm breeze that swooped past her and unconsciously twirled.
Dancing. How she loved music and dancing. Humming a song, she jumped and swayed her hips to the beat, feeling her rage slowly melt away. Her hands traveled upwards her legs and she lifted it above her head, twisting her waist to the vibe she sang. Almost immediately, a larger frame pressed against her back and she gasped in surprise.
When Lucas had spoken to Carmillia, Theodore watched the conversation and wondered what Lucas knew that got her so worked up. Knowing Lucas, he didn't try to probe and instead followed her here. When he saw her dance, he couldn't help but notice how lonely she looked so he did the wisest thing.
He joined her.
Bodies pressed together, he felt her glide her hips on him and he groaned in pleasure. Guiding her, he swayed with her and they danced like no one was watching. Hands clasped around her, he kissed her earlobe and she shivered in his arms. Then he went below and kissed her sensitive spot making her gasp.
This dance was turning into something different.
Something worse.
But instantly Carmillia stopped. That scent..
She pulled away and saw Theodore who looked at her with more intensity than ever.
"Are you kidding me!?" She exclaimed and glared at him.
'This pest.. I'll kill him!.'
