"Trust no one Lisa, not even me" He said with the most serious face she had ever seen him use.
"But why?" She asked a little confused.
"Some things are better left hidden until the right time." He replied softly and Lisa frowned.
'Always one riddle or the other' She thought aggravated.
"You said Joana was a witch, was..was that the reason you killed her?." She questioned him without looking away from his serene face. How was he always so calm?.
"Witches are vile creatures Lisa, that's why they were differentiated into two groups. To separate the good from the bad, if not, the good might get corrupted." He paused to see if she was catching on and she nodded for him to continue.
"They were grouped into the light and the dark witches. As their name imply, the light witches are of pure energy and the dark witches are full of corruption and greed."
Lisa listened to him patiently, trying to understand all that he was saying, but then a question came to her mind. "The light witches, do they live here in the underworld?.
He chuckled softly and replied" Don't forget Lisa, black may come in a pure look but black is always black."
'Did that mean he didn't trust the light witches too?'
"Do you hate them?" She asked him and he smiled.
"If I hate them, how does that affect you?" He questioned her back and she unconsciously touched her chest. If this continued she was going to have a heart attack!.
"Then if I was a witch will you hate me?" She enquired and immediately bit her tongue when she realised what she said.
"What do you think?" He said as his face slowly inched closer to hers.
'Oh God, was he going to kiss me?.'Her body instantly stilled. But he didn't kiss her, he stayed like that as his intelligent eyes observed her every move. His face went lower and he bit her ear lobe making her Yelp in pain.
"Ouch, what was that for!?" She asked him quizzically.
"You were looking lost." He answered innocently and she glared at him. She watched as he ran his hand through his hair, obviously having something on his mind but that made him look more than gorgeous.
His black hair was ruffled, his ocean blue eyes always looking calm as the ocean, his perfect jaw line looking even more defined, his lips had become a little more pink, his pale skin going extremely well with his look. Even the gods will have trouble competing with him.
Lisa came back to reality when a light pain shot through her forehead and she saw Lucas smirking at her.
'He had fucking flicked her head!'
"You-" She began but he beat her to it.
"Do you know how thirsty I am, if you kept on looking at me like that I would have started having second thoughts about what you promised, of not falling for me." He gave her a knowing look and she stared at him.
"I will do no such thing, you need not worry" She rolled her eyes and continued" And if you are thirsty just get some water to drink."
Lisa didn't understand what him been thirsty had to do with her.
Lucas pulled back from her and could see the confusion that clouded her eyes.
'It was either she didn't know what demons drank or she was just fooling around.' He thought to himself.
"I'm not thirsty for water idiot, I want that sweet delicious red liquid flowing in your veins." He said each word clearly so that she could get the message and she gasped at his answer.
Before leaving, he patted her head gently like she was a pet.
"Don't worry too much, I'm going to get a drink so that I don't end up sucking you dry and when you freshen up, you come out so that we can have a little jog." He told her and he saw the way her eyes lit up and sparkled.
"Are we really going jogging?" She asked excitedly and he nodded.
"Of course, you need to lose some weight." He gave a quick look over her body and she frowned.
'Did he just say I was fat!?.'
Before she could form a retort he disappeared from her sight and she stood up from the massive bed angrily.
"I'll show him who is fat"
She went to the bathroom and stripped off the night gown she wore and entered the bathtub that was as big as a pool and took a quick scented shower. After doing that she tied her hair in a towel and wrapped herself in another towel, coming out of bathroom, she went to the closet and almost fell down when she realised it was a walk in wardrobe.
'I love this' She thought as she searched through the beautiful dresses that were surprisingly her size. It even had an underwear section which were also her size.
Her cheeks burned when a thought crossed her mind.
'Did Lucas bring all these?'
She quickly shook her head. Of course not, that was almost impossible. After some contemplation she chose the simplest clothes there.
It was a green short gown that stopped just above her knees. It was decorated in white diamonds that shone brightly every time she moved. She removed the towel from her hair and combed it into a lose bun.
When she was sure that she was done she stepped out of the room to see Lucas casually leaning on one of the pillars.
"How was the wedding?" He asked and opened his eyes to stare at her.
"What wedding?" She said in confusion.
'What the hell was he talking about?' She screamed in her mind.
"You took so long that I thought you were getting married in the room. Don't fret, I won't steal your groom away from you."
Lisa:"...."
