Gloria leaned forward out of curiosity.
At that time, they heard someone walking in the hallway. Josephine stuck her head in. "Finished yet?" she asked.
"Yep," Marcella quickly chugged the coffee down and both Marcella and Gloria ran to their stations. They've been out of there for a long time.
"Cindy is spreading rumors about you, Marcella," Dorothy said as she entered the room.
"What rumors?" Marcella asked. Her heart started to pound.
"It's something new this time…" Dorothy rolled her eyes.
"What?" Marcella couldn't bear the suspense and raised her voice.
"What's the magic word, Marcella?" Dorothy wriggled her brows.
"Oh, f*Ck me dead," Marcella mumbled under her breath which was heard by everyone in the room. They all looked at Marcella as if she was a freak in the freak show.
Gloria bowed her head and giggled. Of course, no one has heard Marcella cussing before.
