Deva took her bath wondering the kind of creature Slyvian's friend would be, she had three top guesses a mermaid, a sea horse or a water dragon.
Deva sighed she hoped it was one of these theee creature as she read in a book once that they were the most beautiful of all sea creatures she wanted to see for herself if it was true.
After drying her body, Deva wore a sky blue knee lenght dress, she wasn't in the caslte anymore and was not obliged to wear flowing dresses as she prefer shorter dresses which made it easier for her move.
She styled her hair into a high ponytail and left the cave, she saw Slyvian sitting by the cave once she had come out.
He turned when he heard her footsteps and his eyes fell on her pretty face, she always looked good in blue it made her look like fairy, the only fairy he wanted to keep for himself.
"Your beauty is incomparable..if other wore this dress it wouldn't be as beautiful as it is when worn by you.."
Deva blushed as she held the hem of the dress shyly judging by Slyvian's expression he wasn't joking, a pinkish hue appeared on her cheeks as she ducked her head and muttered.."Thank you.." shyly.
This was the first time a man that complimented and she felt this warm current flow in her heart, there was something about Slyvian that she felt no other man had.
What was thing she didn't know maybe over time she would find out.
Grr!
Deva's stomach rumbled as she patted it like she was internally telling it to shut up.
She was getting quite hungry now, she remembered she had last eaten when they were at the witch doctor's place and quite some time had passed since she last had another bite to eat.
"You must be famished let's go back to the carriage you'll get a bite to eat there.."
Deva smiled and followed Slyvian back to the carriage on their way there Slyvian specially took her to the bunnies burrows so she could pet them before they left.
The bunnies ran into their burrows at the sight of Slyvian and Deva, two big humans appearing near their home were they here to kill them and eat them as food?
They better not! They were cute but they knew how to fight back.
"Don't come any closer!!.."
Deva blinked and looked for the voice that told them to stop, don't tell her it was the bunnies thst told them to stop.
"Down here!!.."
Deva and Slyvian looked down to see a rather wild looking bunny wearing a annoyed expression, she couldn't help but smile no matter how ferocious it looked it was still a bunny a cute one at that.
"I didn't know bunnies could talk?"
Deva asked as she turned to look at Slyvian, the man had his hands in his pocket as the wind blew his hair from side to side, he turned to look at her with a smile on his face accentuating his striking features.
Deva bit her lips since did Slyvian become to warm and smiley, Deva failed to realize that it was only for her and thought his personality had changed.
"Might be the work of the witches or it's part of the generation of animals created by Gaia who was once the mother of nature.."
Was once?
What happened to her? Deva looked at Slyvian curiously she wanted to know more about this Mother Nature.
"Is she a goddess?.." Slyvian nodded making Deva even more confused she thought gods were immortal and they couldn't die.
"I thought they were immortal or she left on her own??.."
Deva nodded to herself, her leaving made more sense since they were immortal they couldn't die some didn't even age.
"She killed herself, she choose to die for her creation.Yes they're immortal but Gaia isn't.."
Deva felt that what she was hearing was incredulous, a god that wasn't immortal that was shocking, and if so what was going after her that made her choose such a path.
"Why did she do that.."Slyvian shook his head it happened millenniums ago how was he supposed to known even books written about it had already turned to dust.
"I don't know.."
Deva turned to look at the bunny again after hearing about Gaia and her creation she realized that the bunny was indeed different from the rest, it was pure white with dark brown spots.
How did she not realize the bunny was different earlier.
"What's your name.."
Seeing that the bunny was special she wanted to know more about it, however the bunny was unwilling and instead told them to go away only to receive a glare from Slyvian.
It finally realized that there was male standing beside the annoying female, although the male had a cold expression he was still very handsome.
"Go back to your little carriage.."
Deva heard Slyvian chuckle and couldn't help but feel fear for the bunny, what if Slyvian killed it she didn't want the generation of the goddess to die just like that.
The bunny humphed and prepared to hop away when a hand grabbed him from behind.
"Who dares to!!.."
The voice immediately died down when it saw a pair of crimson red eyes staring down at it.
"He's a really handsome fellow!!.."
The bunny smiled and nodded, it cherished its life and he didn't want to go to the heavens so soon. And seeing the man's expression he seemed like he wanted to help he get there.
Slyvian frowned and his hand tightened, the bunny's heart shook he could see himself heading into the light, he shook his little legs with all his might before finally giving wasn't it just a name.
"My name's Aurt, you hear me Aurt's my name!!.."
Deva held Slyvian arm and looked at him with pleading eyes, it was such a smart and unique animal he shouldn't die just because he didn't want to tell them his name.
Slyvian finally let go and Author breathe in the air he had so joyously prayed for, even kissing the ground to make sure he hadn't gone to the other side.
